So, Dorudugan, how do you defeat him?
Isn't this how debuffs work in this game, too? For instance, if a debuff spell grazes, the effect remains and only the duration is reduced, no?

So, Dorudugan, how do you defeat him?
I am confused. Wouldn't Penetrating Strike or any other resource-based abilities run out very quickly in one hour fights?

Your absolute must have mod list
Ah, ok! And which are your mods?

Your absolute must have mod list
Oops; I guess I wasn't clear. My understanding is that the mod itself may no longer work, since it hasn't been updated after the last official patch.

Help Requested for First Run as a Monk
Sounds like a ridiculous nerf. Good thing I found this thread before trying a Shattered Pillar.

Melee damage (and off tank?)
So is Monk/Rogue the best striker melee?

Melee damage (and off tank?)
The problem of estocs is that it is piercing, and some people simply do not like to switch weapons around all that much. For instance, I am senile, and I would never remember!

Your absolute must have mod list
Isn't the Soulbound upgrade mod out-of-date now?

Best Skills to get?
That's the information I needed - thanks. Jesus, I've forgotten all...

Best Skills to get?
So what skills should the MC get?
- [5.0 Class Build] "Mercenary Captain" - Swashbuckler (Fighter/Rogue)

[Class Build] Please reccomend a ranged-sustained dps-martial-crit build.
What about Shattered Pillar?
- [5.0 Class Build] "Ghost Sniper" - Scout (Rogue/Ranger)

[CLASS BUILD] Bloodsail - The Pirate Paladin
An interesting read, as I prepare to do turn-based run with this build - albeit not solo. I am not sure why you'd go solo PoTD run, if you are a "total noob" as you say? Also, to the OP: Do you have to have Goldpact version of the Paladin?

PotD Solo Build Guide - Herlad / War Caller aka "Sword Singer"
May I ask why this build is deprecated?

Ways to get non-casting stuns?
Yup; I noticed just running the Monk/Rogue double blunderbuss guy in PotD in my level 20 saved game. It was hard to notice the impact of the stuns as much in real-time with pause, but it is plainly transparent on turn-based.

Top 2her reviews
Hmm, that changes things indeed! Edit: Okay, since the Citzal's guy is a mid-liner (and I already have 2 front-liners), then perhaps wasting the first turn summoning Citzal's is not so bad. He's back online then. I guess I will do another Fellowship of the Ring party!

Melee damage (and off tank?)
Does the AoE from Karaboru do friendly-fire?

Melee damage (and off tank?)
Thanks for the comprehensive answer! Now you've made me conflicted as I am no longer locked to a dual wield Devoted/Paladin or Devoted/Rogue as my primary melee damage!

Ways to get non-casting stuns?
Thanks; I knew about the Fighter stuns. But I am less enthusiastic about them, because 1) Charge does no damage and only stuns 1 unless you micro-manage and get lucky; and 2) Power/Inspired Strike has a steep Discipline cost. And yes, I am worried about cast delay. It was difficult - or at least bothersome - to precisely figure out when the cast will fire. I am so lazy!

Melee damage (and off tank?)
Name them, name them! As for the Whispers, I never really looked at it due to the reduced based damage...

5.0 what builds still work for the watcher/companions/sidekicks in turn based mode
Another illuminating post!

Melee damage (and off tank?)
What greatswords would you recommend? My recollection is that there weren't all that many notable ones. Wouldn't Fighter's innate tools be sufficient, given he's not the main tank?

Ways to get non-casting stuns?
Okay, I got my feet wet on turn-based combat. In particular, I was able to experience high-level turn-based combat, because I found you can switch combat mode in-game through console command "SetTacticalMode RoundBased." So I fired up a level 20 save and went at it for a bit. In so doing, the major lesson I got regarding stuns is that casting stuns are unreliable - or at least inconvenient - for someone who doesn't like to micro-manage too much for me. Non-cast stuns, however, are amazing. For instance, Monk Stunning Surge proved golden, because it coupled stuns with damage. Chanter Phrases were also useful, though they do not have the damage dimension. So my question now is: What other good class stuns are available that are non-casts beside Stunning Surge and Chanter Phrases?

Why dump dexterity in turn-based?!
Got it; so the problem was the graze boost
