You forgot to nerf walking. It’s too fast. Everybody should start with 10% stride. Also nerf swords to have only 1 base pen so people use daggers more. Remove all summoning spells and invocations. If you do that, there is no need to balance them ever again. Make every spell and ability deal fixed damage. That way you can easily balance around numbers! Reduce maximum class resources by 75%, so I don't actually use skills too much, because it makes battles shorter. Also double enemy HP so I have to autoattack them more. The list could go on, but why. Better question is, at what point do you uninstall?

Actually, no. Figurines in Deadfire were - and still are - 1/rest items. Just like in PoE1. Sumoning rules are generally the same. The difference is that they now have charges, ON TOP OF that limit. And to answer your question, as to "why".. that is because bAlunZ iZ imPUrTunD! Pretty much the only reason.

Thor as Herald, reasoning? Even though I'm using Pallegina as one and god, do the summons help absorbing damage at any point in the game, specialy mid game in the ship fights. But for some reason, if soloing PotD is doable (without cheese?), duoing should come much farther. First combination of "the tank" I thought of was exactly that though, and I might end up going that path. However, having already tasted the god aweful long time it takes to set any summons up apart from the 1st cast (which is when the enemy is running at you) is.... meh. I know the damage isn't trivial for summons the entire game though... What's the reasoning behind AnyRogueExceptAssassin/Evoker? Only the selfbuffs? My though on the Berzerker were just to output more DPS when he jumps into the fray and having those sweet sweet dual handed full atacks. Herald is the best tank in the game, better go for something that is hard to kill if you duo. Assassin/Evoker is good because spells benefit from Assassinate passive. And it kinda feels like Loki too. Other Rogue subclasses won't work. Early game is going to be extremely difficult for duo if you don't omptimize a bit.

You seem to not recall much about BG2, so let me just tell you that Irenicus' downfall was directly influenced by his sister, Bodhi, who literally messed with his head and convinced him to try to sap some of the power from Tree of Life. Irenicus at that point was a High Elf, queen's lover and one of the most powerful Wizards in the realms. Bodhi was jealous of that love and tried to break it that way. She felt like she was a nobody next to her strong, popular brother. She did, however, knew her brother very well and knew just how to get into his head. When they were stopped, their elven brethen literally removed their immortal souls and turned them to humans, which made Irenicus bitter. It destroyed his mind. He felt betrayed by the love of his life, the elven queen, which he loved dearly, but who did not support him in his hour of need. When he heard about the prophecy of Alaundo, he decided to become demi-god himself, for both power and revenge. And if you want to know why does Irenicus target you - the player's character - specifically, feel free to play Siege of Dragonspear. This is only his backstory, the interactions between him and the player in-game were very well designed aswell, especially in The Asylum. Who's Thaos again and how often does your character directly interact with him?

Wow, this is actually interesting, because my opinion is exact opposite on everything you wrote except companions. I don't even remember what was the story in Legacy of Kain, and only vaguely recall PST because of Morte, but I could recite BG2 plot points from memory. If you want more insight into Irenicus, I recommend Siege of Dragonspear. And to this day there is no better expansion than Throne of Bhaal, story-wise, to any game. I don't count Witcher 3 DLCs because they were technically side quests. I suppose there are as many opinions as there are people

Do yourself a favor and pick up a chanter / wizard. Ningauth's Teaching grimoire (arkemy'rs treasure chamber), very good deflection / armor rating buffs and crowd control spells + infinite animated weapons in late game, they deal pretty good damage. I would say, it's god tier class. What's the synergy here? How does a Chanter second class benefit the Wizard? It used to be amazing pre-1.1 because of Brilliant invocation, but now I think Wizard is better off with another class as a multi, or single class even. Feel free to prove me wrong tho.

Symbol of Berath is very strong. Berath subclass pretty much requires single-class Priest to reach its full potential, you can think of it as a disadvantage but I personally don't mind. The nuking potential is on par with a Wizard, and the AoE on Symbol and Storm is huge. I don't think there's an enemy who is immune to both of these. The main job of this character (for me) was not killing bosses, but instaclearing trash. I play with a group so I have other characters with big single target damage. Priest of Berath makes sure that there is only one target for them to hit Like I said previously, not a top build because it needs access to high level spells for true nuking power, but very effective at its job and has some RP fluff (because Berath).
