Your "educated guess" put in Tier D a weapon that casts a foe-only Chill Fog on kill and summons a monster on each kill (that ignores summon limits). And yet in tier S you put a weapon that is inferior to every other Sabre in like 80% of the encounters. I'm sorry but it is really difficult to take you seriously. Please remind me to never try your pizza recommendations.

I went there at 20 with upscaling and the challenge was.. somewhat okay I guess. Pretty sure it wasn't as easy for me as it was for you. Maybe your characters are super strong or something?

Why would a boss give you pointers? He hired you to do a job. You're supposed to know how to do it. If not, get out, he can hire someone better. Due to the fact that this game offers an incredible amount of different combinations and synergies between items and classes, a generalized "tier list" is completely useless. For example, Deltro's Cage is very strong if you build yourself around Shock damage, with the soulbound weapon and other Shock PL gear. And that's one of the best builds in the game atm. Nomad's Brigandine is fantastic when you combo it with Offensive Parry, there's even a build on the forums that explains the synergy. And Humility has - among other things - 20% Pierce resistance, and is a 0% light armor, which means that your 3 CON 3 RES Wizard with this armor is suddenly less vulnerable to getting one shotted in a ship battle. TLDR if this really somehow took you 20 hours, well, imagine you could've spent that time watching cat videos. So I'm not sure where you work, nor do I care enough to get the details, but your mindset is extremely archaic, unproductive, and hostile. ..or you can use Ningauth's Fireball which also Paralyzes The description of Myth Fyr states that it only works on weapon damage. If it affects spells, it's clearly a bug.

But there are no chants that directly improve spellcasting profficiency. Quite the opposite actually. So if you do chant, all you're doing is buffing your party members, and that's something another character can do. Invocations are surely useful at the beginning, when the caster has very little spells, but at high levels you will almost never run out of spells during combat, because it will be over by that time.

Isnt it good? Cmon It's beyond horrible. Force yourself if you want, not other people.

Uhh Chanter used to be great for casters because he had a Brilliant invocation, but I don't really see is being that great now.

Paladin/Trickster Holy Slayer can be built to be a very powerful user of Riposte, especially combined with WotEP. It is a great ability if you build your character correctly.

But excluding Ghostheart, is it actually mentioned anywhere that there is a one summon per character limit?

Hmm not even slap a full attack between the Blade Turnings? Like, would a Votary be able to alternate between Blade Turning and FoD while dual-wielding? Because if not, then don't you think Shattered Pillar would offer better wound generation than the Nalzpaca? Since all you can do is quickly auto-attack.

You can swap grimoires in combat you know. I always open with Ninagauth and switch to Vaporous if I need to.

You miss every important self buff that makes the Arcane Knight hard to kill in melee.

Don't pick Evoker as a multi for Paladin. This was only good before the patches. Just pick a non-subclass Wizard.

Herald is better and more future-proof because Crusader's defenses are tied to resources. A well-build Herald contributes to combat with both chants and damage, as he is perfectly capable to using Suicide Immolation and not getting splattered.

Ehh I'm just happy to swing a lightsaber around. All I need now are proper Jedi robes hehe.

The problem with most Wizard vs Wizard duels was that at some point it turned to "who casts Time Stop first?". And the answer was always "me" because Robe of Vecna =)

I tried to create a strong one handed build to utilize Animancer's Energy Blade. The result was that I used the console to get a second blade and went dual wield, just to suck less. True story.

Knights do it two handed.
