  1. I think it's almost impossible to get banned on these boards. Repeated offenses don't seem to do the trick.
  2. Unbending Shield is awesome with a Streetfighter multi because it keeps you alive without overhealing, so you remain Bloodied. Combine with Refreshing Defenses to become very sturdy while still dealing a ****ton of damage. EDIT: I only tested this in Solo though, in a group you probably don't need Unbending at all.
  3. If you want to play a Sorcerer, add Tekehu to your party and go pure Druid. His subclass is basically a better Sorcerer.
  4. I actually like the full VO. It makes the game feel more alive. It's a bit uncommon in these kind of games, but perhaps they want to start a trend.
  5. https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/105195-beraths-blessings-mods-should-be-available-in-challenges/
  6. You wanted challenge, you got it, now you want to make it easier?
  7. Well no worries, two more patches and maybe the final boss of the game will always show up.
  8. Remove Brilliant? Come on, why remove options? Don't you like your games to be fun? I would consider blocking Ascension from being extended though, since it probably wasn't intended to be extra long. Obsidian doesn't let us have nice things. Because balunz. Meanwhile there's a ****ton of bugs to fix, some still from the release, but who cares when you can nerf dual wield instead right.
  9. Hey... I really like Icewind Dale Just because it appeals to a different type of audience doesn't make it bland... I don't hate it. It's fine as a spinoff. But I hope it stays that way. Occasional IWD-type game would be okay as long as it doesn't mean we get no more BG clones.
  10. This is probably one of the best first time posts I've ever seen. Nice combo.
  11. This would take a ton of resources, I highly doubt it will happen. But you raise one good point. Why can't my Wizard just blast their ship with a Fireball? That's really hard to understand.
  12. Thanks to this system the fights were actually tactical, and most bosses were reasonably challenging. Unless you were a chees-o-saurus.
  13. In a game like this? Never. I struggled to finish both IWD games because I was getting very bored of combat alll the daaamn tiimmmeeeee! They took Baldur's Gate, removed 75% of the dialogues and sold it as a new game. I never want to see **** like this again.
  14. Yes, all we need is a bland IWD-style game where 90% of the content is combat and your group is just a bunch of random nobodies with 0 personality! No.
  15. No, I haven't even started the game. I've been reading the guides since the 5-6 days I've bought the game. I did the same for PoE 1 - I studied for like 2 weeks before I started playing a game, LOL Oh I meant the OP, not you.
  16. I recommend The Witcher 3. There you can clear all content solo, easy, because the game was made for solo play. In Deadfire, it's just an optional mode created as a challenge, not an intended way to play the game. And considering that many people finished the game solo, I'd say it's pretty viable. EDIT: It would be fantastic if they could introduce global scaling relative to the number of party members you have, but I don't see that happening ever.
  17. At this point I'm starting to think you're trolling. The game is not meant to be played solo. The solo mode was introduced as an optional challenge, the game will never be balanced for it.
  18. Not really, no. It's supposed to be a challenge. If you want to solo with "relative ease", play on Normal or something.
