  1. What do you mean by "one more"? Beckoners do get twice the summons (with lesser health) so they should deal twice the damage (in an optimal setup where all summons can reach the enemy and the summons don't die prematurely). Or what did I miss? By the way: don't know if it got fixed but the skeletons (while handy as CC tools because they engage) are horrible for dealing damage. They scale their stats but they are wearing a poor quality sword which didn't scale last time I tried Beckoner. So most of the time they will suffer from severe underpenetration. If you want to deal dmg with summons like Animated Weapons and stuff you could think about getting Animancy Cat as pet (+2 MIG and +1 PEN for summons).
  2. I value Concussive Tranquilizer over Arcane Dampener because with mortars or rods you can apply it twice or even thrice (Fire in the Hole) with one shot in an AoE - but most of all it's way easier to hit with it (being a ranger with tons of accuracy bonuses and all).
  3. For more crits with Flames of Devotion check out Ring of Focused Flames. It can be obtained early and gives your FoD attacks +10 Accuracy (on top of the +10 it already gets). Doing crits with Flames of Devotion shouldn't be a problem then. Kapana Tags is another nice weapon that leads to more crits (than the average weapon): it lets you engage up to +2 enemies and gets +4 Accuracy per engaged enemy. It comes with +5 because it's a club and all clubs have that. So if you engage two enemies you already have +13 Accuracy with that club (stacks with FoD and Focused Flame bonuses). It also has dual damage types and is a fast weapon.
  4. It's an offhand-only item like a shield. It's no bug but intended. No idea why.
  5. Use stuff like Misama of Dull-Mindedness. It lowers reflex and will as well as deflection a lot. Then cast Expose Vulnerabilites (targets will, reduces AR and deflection), then get an ACC buff in between and then nuke. Chillfog is a great alternative when the Will will defense is high but Fortitude is low (usually it's either or). Use Arkemy's Dazzling Lights from stealth (do not hit anybody) to lure enemies to s spot where they can be attacked with AoE spells all at once.
  6. Kind of right? I never looked at it this way, but -5 CON is -25% health bonus. In some cases that can be a higher number than damaging enemies with a normal hit roll.
  7. Not directly. Once you get hit by shock damage it will give you a corresponding shocking lash for all the damage you deal. Example: You get hit by 20 shock damage. Then the helmet will give all your damage a +20% shocking lash. Multiple shock hits on you don't stack. You can self-inflict the shock damage if you have a friendly fire shocking spell (like Crackling Bolt). T also works with scrolls (Maelstrom). Troubadour's shocking invocation is for only and this can't be used on yourself. But once the helm gives you a lash it works with every spell and ability and auto-attacks.
  8. Unfortunately Skald's phrase-on-crit only works with melee weapons. However Chanter has Sure Handed Ila which gives a gunman twice the bonus: the 20% recovery bonus applies for realoading as well as the 20% reloading bonus. So chanter is a good candidate. Use Troubadour to pair Ila with some other nice chant like Mith Fyr.
  9. We forgot Mage Slayer: he passively puts a spell disruption chance on a target with every hit which stacks. That's the closest thing to "silence" (together with Last Word) you can get I guess.
  10. The suggestions were all good. I personally think Bleak Walker/Chanter is the best combo for that because it covers "Knight" and you can't go much darker than Bleak Walker. And the Chanter has some pretty dark and "necromantic" stuff as well. Other classes that have "dark" abilities you can choose from: - Wizard (mostly acid, necrotic and draining themed spells) - Priest (of Skaen, Berath, Woedica or Rymrgand - the last two need a mod to unlock the subclass for players) - Druid (mostly "Decay" spells) - Barbarian (Corpse Eater) - Monk (Shattered Pillar likes to inflict pain) Rogue (all the toxic stuff and some other abilities with DoTs and fear and so on But since you ask for "Knight" as well I think Paladin is the best fit for the first class option and Paladin/Chanter is just awesome in general. Arkane Knight (Paladin/Wizard) with the goal of getting Spirit Lance and using some dark spells would be very fitting as well.
  11. Sure. But the crit when doing SA won't produce any focus except when using WotEP (which generates focus even when doing SA with its cone).
  12. Soul Annihilation as the actual attack can crit - I'm not sure atm of the raw dmg is unfluenced by it though...? I know it profits from stuff like Sneak and Deathblows so I assume crits also help - but I'm not 100% sure/forgot.
  13. If that also gave you points in clever it would be an awesome joke.
  14. Trolly-troll got his intervention after all Maybe he's the CEO of Microsoft?
  15. That's right! With Fire in the Hole and Driving Flight you'll stack 3 AoE Tranquilizers on top of each other which is very nice. Interrupting and stripping them from all buffs while targeting reflex and all...
  16. Berserker/Helwalker for the win (and the quick suicide). Actually I used a Berserker/Nalpasca in my last playthrough just in order to test the wound generation from Dance of Death + drugs + Berseker Frenzy's self damage and was pretty amazed by the Fists + Carnage combo. I also was a Death Godlike (since low health is quite common with Berserkers) and that also helped Fists as well as Carnage (both scale with PL and +3 PL is pretty decent).
  17. Also note that an Essential Phantom (Wizard) will have your whole equipment, including stuff like Ring of the Marksman and the unique blunderbusseses you are using at the moment of summoning. Let's say you are a Black Jacket/Wizard and want to use Combusting Wounds + lots of missiles and blunderbuss pellets you can summon an Essential Phantom to help with that. Also nice when using mortars because then you have additional AoE attacks flying around. The stats of the phantom aren't bad, too. It doesn't inherit any abilities though. But it can also help to proc special effects from weapons (more attacks = higher chance).
