  1. I dunno, did anyone even say anything particularly negative about it?
  2. crap http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=fvzdehnJA9k backed it but 30 bucks is a steeper entry point than usual
  3. I can agree with that The M1 Garand is a favorite of mine Which gives me an excuse to post this
  4. What ever happened to Krezak? Seems to be the kind of thing he would have loved Hippies smoke weed, hippies are vegetarians, vegetarians starve? See? Sence, I makes it. Ha! That's the same thing I told my wife
  5. Marijuana May Make Us Thinner, Even with the Munchies What ever happened to Krezak? Seems to be the kind of thing he would have loved
  6. What did you sell and what did you buy? I'm also interesting in what you bought/sold I dunno what's wrong with me but recently I've been browsing like crazy for a new gun to add to the collection. Hand guns mostly since there are restrictions in the city/county where I live that prohibit me from getting the one thing I truly want, an AR-15. I really miss long distance target shooting with iron sights... one of the few things I miss from the military. Currently eyeing a 9mm H&K P30 for use in the local indoor range. Anyone have any thoughts or experience with it? Pretty sure that half the forum now thinks I'm a crazy gun nut and I've also been added to a few NSA (and other 3 letter agency) watch lists EDIT: I should say that I'm waffling between the P30 and the Walther PPQ
  7. Very sorry to hear that and for what it's worth I hope everything works out for you both
  8. That's how I play it Works great with a controller and it allows me to change rules and settings (and stats) that I can't do on my Xbox
  9. I'm guessing she did porn or something then...
  10. Sad but true Apology here
  11. I have a couple tattoos and I love a little ink on women but big chest tattoos are a no no Personally, I can understand getting a tattoo if you lose a loved one because my mom died when I was in my first year of college and I wanted to get a tattoo of something special or unique to remember her by. But here I am 12 years later I still never got that one done because I could never think of anything that I thought did her justice. I also agree with Hurlshot that her choosing to be a public figure makes her fair game
  12. Sadly, I've never played PnP. I was close to playing DnD once and had just started to create a character with some friends who played it quite a bit when my mom walked in and asked what we were up to. Upon hearing Dungeons and Dragons she immediately thought of Mazes and Monsters or something and thinks I'll start worshiping the devil or sacrificing virgins or who knows what. I tried to explain to her that wasn't what I'd do with virgins given the chance and not to worry because I already worshiped the devil. She wasn't amused. When she finally came around the DnD friends had moved far, far away and none of my other (lamer) friends were into it and so it never happened. The end
  13. The springs were always pretty weak in our magazines due to age and wear I don't think I'd ever seen one even close to new but then pretty much all our gear was crap EDIT: It looks just like the standard issue mags we had. 30 round capacity
  14. for someone who knows nothing about guns, what am I looking at?
  15. I have a Nexus 7 and it's great for simple games, reading, media consumption but as other have said it's not that great for productivity. My wife has an Asus something or other with a keyboard docking station that basically turns it into a netbook and she manages to do a fair bit of work on it but her work is mostly line sheets and replying to emails.
  16. Civ 5 with the new expansion I really like a lot of the changes that I've seen so far and I think it makes going for a cultural victory a lot more satisfying.
  17. Went to Vail on Sunday for a farmers market Bottom 2 are Betty Ford Alpine Gardens
  18. I don't know what the financial situation is for PE but as far as communication I would say PE has been the best managed of any of the games that I've backed by far. I've been impressed with the amount and quality of the updates and enjoyed the back and forth between the devs and the community. I'm not sure how anyone can think Shadowrun Returns has been well managed though. I'm looking forward to the game but between the "unexpected" licensing issues and the fact that they are way over budget I wouldn't say that they are the best managed.
  19. I can't say I'm surprised about Howard leaving but I wasn't expecting him to end up on the Rockets. I really wished they could have made Kobe, Howard, Gasol, and Nash work but at least it was an interesting trainwreck to watch. I'm a little disappointed to see Iguodala go though as I thought he might have stuck around
  20. They don't all have quotas For instance the department where my cousin (mentioned in the police thread) works only the motorcycle cops have quotas for how many tickets they give because that's pretty much their only function Also, I would say that the war on drugs, three strikes laws, for profit prisons, and a culture that glorifies criminal activity would be much more likely culprits for our ridiculous prison population
  21. I know I'm not the average mmo gamer because I also don't care much for max level play but I'm enjoying it right now because I still have some story left to uncover but I usually lose interest pretty quickly with the end game stuff. I actually enjoy trying to keep my gear up to date as I level so that probably puts me into an even smaller category than the one I'm already in
