  1. Happy Birthday Ros! A bit hungover from last night but nothing too bad. Craving something greasy and cheesy though
  2. Emily Ratajkowski
  3. Yeah, at 6'8" 250 nobody should send him flying like that unless Shaq comes out of retirement... 10 years younger. I haven't been following basketball all that closely in the past few years in part because of things like flopping. I've heard it argued that some players will flop and take the fine if it means they might win a close game but I'm really not sure what else the league can do to stop it. I would say to call a technical foul on the player that does it but the players have gotten so good at it that it's not usually caught when it happens but later when the play is reviewed (the point of it is to trick the refs after all)
  4. Muslim rulers have a decadence mechanic that they need to manage but it's specific to them and they also get to be polygamous. Unless you want to play as a Muslim you can easily pass on it. The Republic you can probably pass on too but I really like playing Republics but they are a bit overpowered. You get a family palace to upgrade and trade posts you can build and upgrade as well
  5. I think it's very possible that he does surpass Jordan I just disagree with Volo that he already has. I also just like discussing what makes one player "greater" than another. Is it championships, is it personal awards, stats, dominating your contemporaries?
  6. Not sure why I'm playing along but you are right MJ is more famous for scoring than passing and rebounding but that doesn't mean he wasn't a great all around player. His career averages for rebounds, blocks, and assists are about the same as James while scoring more points, getting more steals, and having less turnovers. I wasn't going to bring it up but it's also incorrect to argue that James and Jordan where the same age when they won therefore it took them the same amount of time. Since birth, yeah the same amount of time. Since joining the NBA though, Jordan did it a couple years sooner since he went to college and won a championship there too. Don't get me wrong I think Lebron is a great player but it's a bit premature to say that he is the greatest just yet... provided he doesn't retire and come back twice EDIT: Lebron actually won his first title at 27 in his 9th season beating MJ who didn't win until 28 in his 7th year
  7. and Lebron won without Wade and Bosh? I'm not sure what measure you are using to compare the two.
  8. It's a sandbox but there are different start dates which change things up and a lot of mods and user made scenarios out there
  9. There's a lot wrong with flopping. It's a cheap stunt and most fans and even other players don't want to see it and even the league is taking measures against it. Miami's big 3 is especially bad when it comes to flopping but I don't think it really detracts from their accomplishments. That said I think Manu Ginobili should have gotten the Finals MVP award for the Heat
  10. I would get involved, but teams from Houston generally lose. Heh. I wasn't rooting for the Spurs to win as much as I just wanted Heat fans to lose. Those people are the worst
  11. Watching game 7 of the NBA finals while drinking heavily and craving a greasy, cheesy burger I get way too involved in these things
  12. I backed some little Ghostbusters type game on the cheap I don't remember what it was called though EDIT: nevermind found it http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1184280206/ghostcontrol-inc
  13. I wish my car had jet engines
  14. So the Spurs lost and that's really ruined my night. It was only game 6 but I doubt that they can win game 7 away. A bottle of Maker's Mark is calling my name which is good because I need a drink
  15. me too and that sucks because I'll probably be in St Petersburg at the time At least I'll have it for the flight home
  16. The Spurs won game 5 last night so I'm hoping they can keep some momentum going and close out the series. They can't keep trading wins because I think that if Miami wins game 6 then they will also take game 7
  17. Out on the balcony grilling steaks, shrimp, and sausage while sipping a blue moon.
  18. It's a joke but supposedly over a third of all Americans don't have dedicated high speed internet. From what I've read the majority of that is by choice though so maybe they'll take the plunge if their favorite console now requires it. At least now we'll have world peace since deployed troops can no longer play Xbox
  19. Woke up early and went for a run around Mile High Read an article about a company that makes pork laced bullets as a supposed deterrent to jihadists and their slogan is peace through pork. I laughed so hard until I realized it was real and then I just shook my head
  20. I kinda like that idea... not that I'm in to that sort of thing But a friend of mine, lets call him SandyShade, enjoyed the little side romance subplot for the Imperial Agent with Watcher 2 in SWTOR
