  1. I've started the questline and no problems so far, just got the first component on Tatooine, but I've already gotten to like level 52 just from finishing off the Voss bonus series and the Section X dailies. I'm a bit worried because someone said I have to get a couple parts from flashpoints. I don't mind flashpoints most of the time but I don't like the high level ones because I don't like sitting in the queue for an hour only to get yelled at for not knowing each map and every boss fight like the back of my hand

    I'm just enjoying the show
  3. Thanks! I may wait until I'm 55 if those Heroics are that tough to solo
  4. I just changed my level 50 Sith Sorc to a Chiss Sorc because I like blue more than red. I haven't played in a long, long time can anyone tell me how hard/easy it is to get the HK companion? EDIT: Can it be done solo? If not I'll probably never get it unless they sell it on the market
  5. Yeah, I'm already slightly lost as some of the few things I remember from the first game have been changed a bit... and the fact that I suck at these types of games. Having fun so far though
  6. I've always heard about 10% but I've never seen anything to back that up.
  7. I like the Dark Sun setting a lot but I also like Ace of Base so my taste is suspect
  8. Leisure Suit Larry Reloaded drops at midnight PDT!!! Unless you want the Steam version, that comes out tomorrow at 10ish
  9. Then I presume you also feel the same about churches? Yes, I do Their rights are protected and they can continue to believe as they have and discriminate based on those beliefs. While people are free to hail them as champions of the faith or bigots and support them or not accordingly.
  10. I really don't mind what happened to the Boy Scouts, honestly. I agree that any private group should be able to discriminate if they so choose but I don't think they should be protected from the fallout of such actions (bad press, declining membership/donations, etc).
  11. or just google Emily Ratajkowski PS Robin is Alan's son
  12. True Blood, The Listener, and Royal Pains are back on so I'm watching those
  13. Manute Bol! The best 7'7" shot blocking, 3 point shooting center ever I read somewhere that this finals had the most non-American players ever with 9 international players and 8 of them on the Spurs. Manu Ginobili (Argentina) Tony Parker (France) Boris Diaw (France) Nando De Colo (France) Patty Mills (Australia) Aron Baynes (Australia) Cory Joseph (Canada) Tiago Splitter (Brazil) Stockton was great and it's a shame he never got a ring but I can't think of a situation where I would pick him over Magic. I mean a 6'9" point guard? That's a match up nightmare. Sorry couldn't resist posting the tallest and shortest point guard going head to head
  14. I just wanted to say that I'm really enjoying how much more international the game has become in the last decade or two As far as the whole hockey/basketball thing
  15. even though nobody mentioned him, one of my favorites Dikembe Mutombo http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=Xc0HALrWrXs The blocks, the voice, the finger wave, and he saved the world
  16. I like Kobe... maybe not as a person but he's got a great work ethic and drive. He is a great scorer maybe one of the greatest BUT I wouldn't put him at the same level as James. Though if James had Kobe's determination I'd probably put him above Jordan
  17. How important do you think the number of championships he wins will be to his legacy? Does he need to match or beat Jordan's 6? Kobe's 5? Russell's 11? I was discussing it with some friends and it was pretty evenly divided with those who are James fans saying it doesn't matter and those who are James critics saying that it does. Personally, I think it's a factor but not that big of one since there are so many all time greats who never got a single ring
  18. Happy Birthday Ros! A bit hungover from last night but nothing too bad. Craving something greasy and cheesy though
  19. Emily Ratajkowski
  20. Yeah, at 6'8" 250 nobody should send him flying like that unless Shaq comes out of retirement... 10 years younger. I haven't been following basketball all that closely in the past few years in part because of things like flopping. I've heard it argued that some players will flop and take the fine if it means they might win a close game but I'm really not sure what else the league can do to stop it. I would say to call a technical foul on the player that does it but the players have gotten so good at it that it's not usually caught when it happens but later when the play is reviewed (the point of it is to trick the refs after all)
  21. Muslim rulers have a decadence mechanic that they need to manage but it's specific to them and they also get to be polygamous. Unless you want to play as a Muslim you can easily pass on it. The Republic you can probably pass on too but I really like playing Republics but they are a bit overpowered. You get a family palace to upgrade and trade posts you can build and upgrade as well
  22. I think it's very possible that he does surpass Jordan I just disagree with Volo that he already has. I also just like discussing what makes one player "greater" than another. Is it championships, is it personal awards, stats, dominating your contemporaries?
