Sitting in the Detroit airport thinking to myself how much nicer it is than I thought it would be and then my flight was delayed 2 hours

I can agree with that but there is still the racism but it's kind of funny in a sad way I'm also surprised mkreku hasn't posted anything (or I've missed it) he used to always post the good stuff

The dog is getting along quite well at the kennel but I can't wait to get back home

I liked what I think DA2 was trying to do but not the execution of it I really wanted more DA:O with some slight improvements but what I got was a jRPG* *not intended as a factual statement and I've never played a jRPG so I have no idea what I'm talking about but I liked the first game much more

Finally got a raise that I've been waiting a few months for Smaller than expected.... (that's what she said) In other news, I survived a week in Russia and am back in Estonia until Tuesday then it's back to the states PS St Petersburg was nice

Finished the main campaign and enjoyed it but I wish it wasn't quite so linear. I would have liked more non story runs and legwork and all that jazz. A few things I wonder about -Heal 1 when there are no other Heal spells. Maybe Heal 2 would heal the last 2 or 3 attacks and so on and I did like that they set it up magical healing that way, it made things a bit more interesting -All the locked doors that there didn't seem to be a way to get past -Silence spells when there is no stealth I didn't mind the lack of looting at all but the save system pissed me off more than a few times when I had to start all over again from the beginning of a map

I'll second the all inclusive Mexican resorts. Especially the adult only ones as other peoples screaming kids aren't typically great at setting the mood. The missus and I spent 3 weeks just outside of Cancun and it was great and we only left the resort to go on the different excursions that were offered (Chichen Itza,etc)

Are you looking to get laid and party or something more touristy? I was thinking something romantic. My girlfriends birthday is in October and I wanted to surprise her with a vacation somewhere exciting. From what I'm seeing though Italy might be a hell of a lot more trouble than I thought. It seems to require a lot of planning to actually see all the interesting places. It's something you can just go and do when you feel like it. I was actually looking at the US Virgin Islands but October is the peak of hurricane season. So, now I'm looking at Jackson Hole or Hawaii I like Jackson Hole, it's nice if you both enjoy the outdoors I haven't been to Italy but some friends swear by the Amalfi coast

I haven't played much yet but so far so good except that my mage feels pretty weak right now. Not sure how the power levels scale but for now my pistol feels deadlier than my spells. Might just drop this playthrough and go for a street sam or decker EDIT: Just encountered a weird bug that won't let me equip any armor

Puttered around St Petersburg a bit today There are a lot more fat people here than the internet led me to believe (that they are all in the US). Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of rail thin model types mixed in as well but I was really caught off guard by the amount of overweight people. Also, everybody smokes Also, also, just found out that my company is merging and am now wondering what that will mean for me

Just getting settled in here I tried to post something earlier because I had a few hour layover in Amsterdam but I was either too drunk or too tired to get it right. I spent most of the flight from the US sipping bourbon and playing Civ 5. As far as the whole racial purity thing my wife's family mostly identifies themselves as Russian but they are as mixed as I am. A lot of Finnish and Estonian and even a little Chinese blood in the family tree Other than that everyone has been pretty nice. Whenever I try to use the few Estonian or Russian words that I know people tend to respond to me in English and seem genuinely friendly. I didn't see much of Tallinn but we will be going back for a few days towards the end of our trip and Narva is.... different. A lot of Soviet era buildings that I can't tell apart make it difficult to navigate even though it's pretty small

My wife is from there and she hasn't been home in about a decade. Usually her folks come here and visit but this year we are going there. I wanted to detour to Finland for a couple days but we are going to Russia for a few days instead.

I'm off to Estonia

If I had to guess I would say it's probably because he doesn't really have anything to lose by it The people that will get the most upset about it are probably the people that don't support him anyway
