Somewhat inspired by the thread title, who would play you in a movie about your life? Spent half the night discussing this with my wife because while it doesn't seem that complicated, and it's not, she kept throwing out fictional people she wanted to play her. Her picks were Jadzia Dax (not Terry Farrell) and Angelina Jolie though they look nothing like her and are just her girl crushes. My pick was Powers Boothe but he's dead and I'm not sure how comfortable he would be with the nudity required for the role.

No matter who wins, we lose? I'm mostly indifferent to these finals. I'm hoping for a good series though I'm leaning slightly towards Boston because I'm a tower in Pisa I don't think they have anyone left from their last championship run like a decade and a half ago... and it'll put them over the Lakers. BUT! At the same time, I won't be upset if Kerr gets another ring.

My LG stove looks similar to what you have above and I can turn off the sounds and flashing lights (for preheating) in settings. My washer and dryer make annoying sounds but I leave them on so I don't forget about the clothes in them because I'm easily distracted.

I read it as prison isn't doing much as a deterrent to crime and/or the prison population doesn't reflect crime rates. IIRC our prison population boom was tied to the war on drugs and sentencing law/policy changes

Considering selling my condo. It'd fetch a pretty penny but I doubt I'd ever be able to afford buying in that area ever again unless the market tanks worse than the great recession. The HOA doesn't allow short term rentals and having long term tenants isn't as lucrative.

My wife said to me that maybe it's just her toxic masculinity talking but she doesn't like how dirty players nowadays flop, act, and jump into people and back in her day dirty players might actually hurt you, no acting involved. I told her that while I generally agree, it sounds exactly something an old person would say. She hit me, I flopped.

This was my first time using the blender for hollandaise and can highly recommend it. I went a little overboard and made bacon wrapped filet mignon topped with a bone marrow and black garlic butter. Served with mashed potatoes and a red wine gravy. I got bored.

Something similar happened to me once, my wife fell and I took her to the doctor and everyone kept giving me weird looks. I was so worried about her that I didn't fully realize the situation until they wanted to speak with her alone and that's when reality finally set in.

Made my wife a version of eggs Benedict. Poached eggs took longer than I expected to get perfect since I haven't done them in a while but hollandaise sauce was excellent and I actually made in the blender this time around. For the meat I've been using chopped Serrano ham since I had it that way in Costa Rica once and fell in love with it.

Mimosas spiked with 99 whatevers. So far I've had the peach (fuzzy navel mimosa ftw), pineapple, mango, and cherry lime.

I just had the worst stout ever. Great Divide Yeti Imperial Stout. Terrible, horrible, awful. I guess if you love IPAs and are trying to branch out into stouts then maybe this'll be your speed but if this is your speed we can never drink together.

I don't care who wins as long as it's not the Suns. #norings4cp3 Fandoms can get pretty bad and that's why I mostly just cheer against teams now. Much healthier.
