  1. Tallinn is nice, I've been a few times. I thought about moving a long time ago but it's too cold during the cold months
  2. I think they said adapted Fantasy Flight
  3. Everything Everywhere All at Once, my wife and I both liked it. It also was good seeing Data/Short Round again.
  4. Surprise – Again! NASA Spacecraft Reveals Asteroid Bennu Is Not What It Seemed
  5. I had some Ginja that some friends brought back from their trip to Lisbon
  6. In-laws in Russia are definitely feeling the pain. One of my wife's cousins wants to flee the country because of poor economic prospects, not wanting to raise his kids in such a hateful environment, and being afraid of being locked up for not being on board with the war.
  7. Same We've had fireworks going off in our neighborhood all week long and probably for a few days more despite the fact that they're illegal. I really hate these fireworks because they drive my dogs crazy, keep us up at night, and make my PTSD itch. Firework shows don't bother me at all because I know to expect it but the random pops and booms going off in random directions gets to me more often than I'd like to admit.
  8. Grilled wings, corn, sausage, and peppers. Followed that up with a watermelon, not grilled. For my wings I've started using Nando's because the citrus in it really elevates the flavor over most hot sauces.
  9. That's not exactly true. In many places work is not voluntary and they can be punished for not working. It's part of what the prisoner strikes were about a few years back. I was mainly speaking historically though.
  10. That's a wide brush to paint with but okay It's an important loophole because what do you think came next after they said no more chattel slavery but you can use prisoners as slaves
  11. I've found that human and dragon aren't the right answers
  12. Dr Strangé - The weirdest episode of Grey's Anatomy that I've ever seen. I laughed at the Raimi-ness of it but it was not good but I didn't mind it, other than the stupidity of it all. Wife hated it and actually thought it was scary.
  13. Sounds like our ploy to get Europe on our LNG is going according to plan
  14. I didn't mind the Skywalker movie as much as most people seem to because while it's pretty terrible, the previous movie and the discussion around it, killed all the remaining magic Star Wars held for me. Now it's just memberberry space magic show, nothing special. I liked Obi Wan well enough. I thought it did disillusioned Jedi much better and more in character than the Last Jedi. It certainly did have a lot of issues though I found myself not really caring. Though watching it made me curious, when and how does Vader know Luke is his son? I'm pretty sure it wasn't shown in the OT. I'm guessing I either just missed it in the OT or it's in some random side product somewhere. E: looked it up and it was explained in a comic book just a few years ago.
  15. I might have to check it out then. I didn't like The Dark Wind all that much but I really dug Skinwalkers. I need to check out the other PBS movies as well.
  16. This is actually my favorite format for interviews but I've only experienced it a few times as the one being interviewed. It's what I try to do when I'm conducting interviews as well but since it's usually a panel interview I don't always get my way.
  17. Is it based on the movie? It looks almost identical
  18. I also like to do interviews and I'm pretty easy on the candidates. I just want to see if they can do the job well enough and maybe see if there's any obvious personality clashes but some of the people that I've interviewed with are on some weird power trip that I just don't understand.
  19. I think the moral of the story is that sex overcomes all
