  1. I didn't mind the Skywalker movie as much as most people seem to because while it's pretty terrible, the previous movie and the discussion around it, killed all the remaining magic Star Wars held for me. Now it's just memberberry space magic show, nothing special. I liked Obi Wan well enough. I thought it did disillusioned Jedi much better and more in character than the Last Jedi. It certainly did have a lot of issues though I found myself not really caring. Though watching it made me curious, when and how does Vader know Luke is his son? I'm pretty sure it wasn't shown in the OT. I'm guessing I either just missed it in the OT or it's in some random side product somewhere. E: looked it up and it was explained in a comic book just a few years ago.
  2. I might have to check it out then. I didn't like The Dark Wind all that much but I really dug Skinwalkers. I need to check out the other PBS movies as well.
  3. This is actually my favorite format for interviews but I've only experienced it a few times as the one being interviewed. It's what I try to do when I'm conducting interviews as well but since it's usually a panel interview I don't always get my way.
  4. Is it based on the movie? It looks almost identical
  5. I also like to do interviews and I'm pretty easy on the candidates. I just want to see if they can do the job well enough and maybe see if there's any obvious personality clashes but some of the people that I've interviewed with are on some weird power trip that I just don't understand.
  6. I think the moral of the story is that sex overcomes all
  7. I wish there was a crapton of shows that I was interested in but almost nothing on TV appeals to me.
  8. We're loving the Orville, it's everything I wish nuTrek would be. I'm afraid to start watching Strange New Worlds because I skipped out on STD after season 2 and Picard during season 1 so I'm not sure how good it will be without being compared to it's lesser cousins.
  9. I've failed as a parent. My son is pretending to be a cat.
  10. Shouldn't Avatar have millions in that case?
  11. She sang the Psych theme song for the Twin Peaks episode Dual Spires. It was a nice touch.
  12. I also really enjoyed though I couldn't help but think of some Voyager episodes while watching, specifically the one with the Kobali and the one with void space. It also shows one of my biggest nitpicks with space exploration in these shows,
  13. The second Resident Evil movie was the best by a metric mile
  14. People in positions of authority should be held to a higher standard, It's not that difficult. Rules for thee but not for me
  15. I've been Stouting, Oil Man and Dragon's Milk, both Bourbon barrel aged.
  16. Vienna sausage with some hot sauce, my wife said it was gross but I was loving every bite. PS I showed my wife that gazpacho recipe and she really wants to make it
  17. It's not canon, thankfully. It was just the game trying to make sense of the movie.
