I first heard of that when I watching some show on Netflix about the music industry or something, it was just on as background. The episode was about how Sweden is a major player in the music industry but how very few people know about it because they rarely mention it as it's seen as bad form. And on topic, war is bad.

Star Trek: Resurgence is the first Trek anything to capture the spirit of the '90s shows in a long, long time Buying this on release

I'm making tacos I also had a nitro Pepsi and I think the best way that I can describe it is someone poured an entire cup of sugar into a Guinness.

I wouldn't even call it generous, I'd call it self interest. If they can remain a thorn in Russia's side they'd probably call it a win. Also, shipping and selling arms is kinda just what we do so I don't think it's going to be much of a distraction. I'm no expert though -
Yeah, I don't think this really changes the calculations for other comedians. I think most up and coming ones would love to be attacked by Will Smith or other celebrity because unlike Chris rock, they could use the money and I also doubt many people will start thinking it's okay to do now because Smith seemingly had no consequences.

I'm not watching the new Trek shows either, I gave up on Picard and never finished season 1 and I stopped watching Discovery after the second season. I also haven't tried Prodigy as it doesn't appeal to me and I've only seen the first batch of Short Treks but I do kinda like Lower Decks enough to occasionally watch it. That said, I watch and read way too much related to it between here, RLM, and the Star Trek subreddit (it's hard to avoid nuTrek there because it covers all Trek). PS I hope that Strange New Worlds will finally be the nuTrek show that I've been waiting for but hope is the first step on the road to disappointment

I dunno but I'd like to echo O'Brien's sentiments on timey wimey stuff. I always though of Yesterday's Enterprise as the latter of those two since things go back to how they were supposed to be rather than them continuing in that alternate timeline. I'm also not sure there's really a difference there either but in the end it doesn't really matter, I guess. Would not be the first time Trek has dropped the ball as old Trek wasn't always consistent either. E: regarding CW shows, I really liked a lot of seasons of Supernatural so I agree that it's not all bad

Is it dark, gritty, emotional, and cynical enough for nuTrek?

This is funny because in my experience these are the jobs that are more likely to be swole. Not that it's needed for the job or anything but the amount of free time and culture varies so much depending on your role and unit. -
Watching the latest season of that F1 show on Nefflix. I still hate Red Bull, but so far they've not been going much into them since they're probably saving them for the last/later episodes. Horner has still gotten some decent screen time and he still very much comes off as a massive dbag. At this point I'm starting to think less of the Spice Girl that married him. Might have to get my Spice Girls tattoo removed. Ugh, finished the series and the last couple of episodes were all Red Bull. I heard what happened already but seeing it was worse. I don't even like Hamilton and Mercedes but I thought they got robbed. I guess it's time to get my Spice Rushmore tramp stamp lasered off. Or at least just Geri. Now firing up Project Adam

Steven Wilhite, because choosey Jods choose .gif Regarding Albright and the like, I think anyone involved in realpolitik at a high level is most assuredly a sociopath of some sort regardless of gender or anything else.

I'm no fan but I thought it was newsworthy. I told my wife and she said she wonders if there's a special place in hell for her. She's still upset about that.
