Paladin/stalker with bear is very tanky and has some great synergies if you want to play a melee ranger.

If you start with an exported character he will be lvl1 with no items. If you recruit an exported character then he keeps his level (but only If it's lower than yours) and his items (if you have enough money to pay for them). A high level character fully equiped can cost over 300k gold to hire.

The PL scaling of the imbue spells was finally fixed or not? The community patch fixed the penetration I think, but I'm not sure about the accuracy/damage...

The 2h version isn't viable anymore because of the multiple nerfs of the WotEP (after the last patch it doesn't replenish focus anymore during Soul Annihilation). That's the reason I did not update the build - it was about the Soul Annihilation & WotEP synergy which doesn't exist anymore. However the second setup (Sun and Moon + Tuoutilo's Palm) is still viable. The Black Plate should also be replaced with Magnera's Chain. With Abraham and the dual wield speed, the flail will attack pretty fast. With all the resting bonuses you should also have easily over 200will. The WotEP can still be used at the beginning of the fight to frontload some AoE damage (it still applies SA to all enemies it hits).

Personally I would go with ranger/cipher. Besides Borrowed Instinct (20acc) you can lower enemies deflection even further (Phantom Foes -10def, Psychovampiric Shield -10def)

skald/monk with Scordeo's Edge: +20acc buff, long blade cascade buff and more criticals due to double hits.

You get 10acc only for the first hit (sun) of the flail.

Yes, a simple/nalpazca monk would work better because you benefit more from the self damage. The forbidden fist benefits from the helm and is healed when hostile effects expire, but in the end can have more downsides overall. PS. Not sure if a forbidden fist monk can get heals/wounds fast from chillfog.

You should add also Frostfur Mantle to the mix. I would pick berserker too (chillfog is unreliable ), but combined with forbidden fist. Pale elf's frost resistance will negate nicely the frost penalty of the armor and fits well with the theme of the build.

Yes, but Blightheart works only for wizards and the Chromoprismatic staff is good only for elemental damage. Druids have also the Lance of the Midwood Stag and The Spine of Thicket Green. Ciphers have only Griffin's blade...

Tuoutilo's Palm is the best bashing shield because it uses Transcendent Suffering/Monastic Unarmed Training penetration and accuracy, but don't expect a dps increase from it if you just auto attack (even with full attacks the dps increase is probably minor). Bashing shields are interesting for characters able to spam main hand abilities - it this case you attack with the speed of a dual wielder, with no damage penalty, while benefiting from the shield's bonuses at the same time. The potential candidates are monk: (Efficient Anguish is easily sustainable with the damage taken), soul blade (Soul Annihilation with Sun and Moon refuels focus with the second hit) and tactician (Knock Down generates discipline on interrupts).

Well, it's for the long fights that matters the most. Anyway, the cipher can cast Ancestor's Memory twice in the first 10s which is plenty for the easy fights.

It's nice, but any cipher can do the same. The best part is when you bind the robes to a troubadour and then regenerate phrases every 1.5s with Brisk Recitation activated.

Usually I'm able to craft the potion only in Neketaka and there the bonuses stack consistently. But in Port Maje (sometimes I get the all the ingredients there) the bonuses are suppressed no matter what I try.

Maybe Belranga is doable with the beguiler - you charm/dominate the little spiders who will end by killing her eventually. For Dorudugan you can try to run around and shoot him with a bow. For Hauani it might be possible to charm the small oozes from the symbiote and use them as distractions while you shoot the boss with the Essence Interrupter.

Megabosses have many immunities/resistances and very high resolve meaning you won't be able to CC them (without mentioning you will run out of focus very fast against them).

No need for Disintegration anymore, you can apply the curse with Essence Interrupter and Hauani won't split anymore. Obsidian said initially it wasn't intended, but since it was left unchanged we can consider it a feature at this point. That means any class can beat the encounter as long as they're able to kill the first form. PS. I think the herald is a also a good candidate for the ultimate because he can rely on summons for tanking and on spells+summons for damage, avoiding being affected by Abydon's challenge too much.

Evasive Fire has its own damage/recovery and isn't affected in any way by the weapon you carry.

You can use a long range spell (Crackling Bolt/ Plague of Insects) to trigger combat and then withdraw Vela far from enemies spawning point. A more extreme thing you can do is to use Anguish to push her away before withdrawing her.

I made an attempt at the Ultimate and I found invisible boars on the first beach - is that one of the Galawain's buffs? At first I thought it was a bug, but when I passed near them a dark smoke was activated which means it was some kind of ability... The only way to see their position was to highlight their circles...
