  1. Not really. Being forced to do tons of side content is oppressive game design. The better route is to scale back bounty xp rewards and possibly scale back xp rewards on minor (read easy) side quests and side quests that you have massively out-leveled. Forced to do tons of side content in order to beat critical path with low difficulties so that if you wanna rush it, it will be very hard. Actually, even doing only critical path, is too easy (i skipped WHOLE Caed Nua and WHOLE Twin Elms), I wonder how it is when doing also all side content.
  2. I think the best thing would be to have a super-tough critical path so that you're kinda forced to do lot of side content in order to grow up and beat the main story. Critical path on hard and pod should be extreme and you can reach level 12 only at the end of the game and after doing ALL side content. This is what i call a challenge
  3. Balance tweak (increase difficulty, ai improvements, etc) is the major priority while\after bug fixes.
  4. Yeah, i don't like the game too: -Companions are weak, why is Eder a warrior and not a Calvin Klein model? Why is Aloth super gay? Why Mother is not a porn milf? those lips on portrait, damn, too sexy -Items are so disappointing, there are no purple space neon armors, no minigun and no flamethrowers. Really, NO FLAMETHROWERS, it is a shame. -2d over 3d is bad. 2d is crappy, you can't even rotate the camera. Neverwinter nights 1 was beautiful cause of 3D, so ispired art and wonderful environments. -Endless path of Nua bad. Only 2 levels, i thought they were 15. It finishes on the black sacrifice hole. -Thaos it is a bad villain, with that greek-like name i expected a super muscle bald guy like Kratos and i found this stupid old man who just makes crap voodoo -Immersion breaking stuff: why i can't throw grenades into xaurip packs? why i have no option to transform in dragon??? -Gameplay issues. Pause, really?? Can't i use keyboard for movement? Postal 1 is so much better than this. And it has grenades. Rating 4\10 and not 0\10 only cause of space pig, if there were others super nice space animals i would've rated this game 7\10

  6. Bg 1 and Bg 2 were standalone but they could be merged in a single game

Probably most folks will disagree but i wonder how nice it will be if PoE will continue the story after PoE with expansions and it will merge with him so that u can do a full Playthrough starting with PoE at lvl 1 and then finish with PoE 2 at lvl 25 or so. It can work as standalone too so if you wanna start directly with PoE 2 you can build a lvl 15 character and start just after PoE+Expansions ends. Do you prefere this way or a completely new settings\characters for PoE 2?

I know bug fixes (expecially gamebreaking ones) are the priority and i'm fine with that, but now that major bugs are fixed, i wonder if we'll see some heavy balance tweak like xp gain, enemies stats, difficulties rebalance and other stuff like this. There are a lot of propositive criticisms out there (both official and other forums) and i wonder if developers are looking at The game is really good and it has a solid base, so those things are mandatory for having a perfect product

  14. 4th level of Endless Path, Beetles teleport istantly from distance to melee range and NOT through their burrow ability (that they use anyway and it has a noticeable animation). This is clearly a bug.
  15. Combat D is my favourite too! And he also has a loop style so that the end reconnects nicely to the beginning... and i wanna say to Justin one thing.... Man, GIVE YOUR COMBAT TRACKS A PROPER NAME!!! THEY DESERVE IT!! It's sad to read "combat 1, combat 2"!!!! we can create a poll for naming combat tracks : - ))))
  16. Seriously, POD should me almost impossible while hard should be really challenging, so we have hard mode which is "easy" and POD which is "normal".
  17. Relax dude, cause of some people who find the game being too hard even on easy mode (and i wonder why they even play videogames instead of watching movies), this is what we get.
  18. Hard mode in this game is Normal mode so it's quite easy. I have the same issue and i decided to do a fresh start on PoD as soon patch will be released. Will see if it'll be more challenging
  19. Finally they improved the temple rendering, first time i saw it i noticed that it was kinda low-res compared to other places

Yes, and you can do it in 2 ways i guess -By having the end connecting perfectly with the beginning (Combat D) -By having no special intro on track so that you won't notice huge gap on loop (Combat B and E) There is a third solution but i don't know if it is possible cause you'll have much larger files. -Make tracks lasts 10 minutes each by creating a good loop by yourself so that you can listen to the intros only once per combat

As i said in a previous thread i think that Combat "C" suffers by having a strong intro that is not viable for a 5\6 times loop repetition while in combat and can be really annoying cause of that (i'm pretty sure that this was the issue who annoyed the OP, not the track itself which is good to listen. The way how "Combat D" repeats is perfect.

  23. They are lore related and they don't break immersion at all for me, i'm on a 40h playthrough on twin elms and i did read ALL npcs, i'll probably skip one sometimes by now, but i still did read a lot of them. I agree with tombstones being crap, but npcs are fine.
