  1. I bought the game and im over-hyped, can't wait for the release. However, this guy has all the rights to give opinions like everyone else
  2. Of course a tank-chanter, hand by hand with the fighter, buffing both and summoning creatures for an huge frontline.
  3. They could do that from behind without being damaged, just like wizards. I noticed they have a lot of enemy debuffs and allied auras, maybe the radius is low, then they have to stay near the frontline. Dunno where to check tho
  4. Frontline: Figher (tank+dmg) + Paladin (tank+aura) Midline: Rogue (full dps+roam) + Chanter (buffing+summons) Backline : Wizard (low aoe+high single dps) + Ranger (high single dps) I would appreciate suggestions, Thank you : - )
  5. They added river reflections with the last beta, but they forgot to "pass" that little part ^_^
  6. Around 20:46 mark, look at river, there are missing reflections in a specific point.

  8. Sadly no, but it increases damage that you can do with wand/bow/gun and with you damage dealing invocations. It also increases healing if you decide to take ancient memory talent, which gives your chanter healing aura. So, creatures are better for tanking-taking focus i guess

  11. Do you autoattack? if not, why don't give her a wand or a bow just to AA from behind meanwhile chanting? She is the tank of my party that stands in front line and takes all the hits from enemies. She is fully build around that idea. Back line support chanter should be build much differently. Seems interesting, chanter + summons tanking!! What would you suggest for a more backline chanter?

That's why i opened this thread on a Pillars of Eternity forum and not on Men's Health one People use terms like "worried" and "concerned" way too often when it's pertaining to something insignificant in how your real life is effected. That's all I'm pointing out here. I've never been "worried" over anything concerning a video game. Just sayin'. People understand how to give weight to terms like "worried" and "concerned" basing on circumstances. But if you're worried about terms, i can change nex time....sorry, i used "worried" again and there were no family\health\girlfriend involved, my bad.
  15. I'm not a backer, now i purchased 2 copies on steam, one for me and one gifted to my best friend (birthday on tomorrow). A part from enjoying the game when it will be released, i wanna support the sales cause this is the only chance, after 15 years, we have to see a huge return of 2d isometric rtwp rpgs. If PoE will fail, the genre will die forever and we'll get DAI clones over and over or multiplayer oriented rpgs. If PoE will be succesful, other than having PoE sequels, maybe some other Dev\publisher will begin developing similar games.

  18. Imagine a sequel who continues the main story and lvl 30 cap: we would have a single full playthrough who lasts 200+ hours in a huge world. I think would be nice

  21. Nice!! the idea of critical path scaling enemies should make them tough even with a super party.
  22. I'm worried. In this kind of game almost everybody will go for a full exploration, expecially when there are cool places like the Endless path. this means that the party will be overpowered when going for the critical path, being this one the last part to do in a completionist playthrough.. I'm afraid that passing through final encounters\killing bosses with ease could be immersion breaking, i really hope that end game crit path enemies are really tough, even for a lvl 12 full geared party
