  1. Should have clarified.... The crickets are still there at night! They just don't melt your brain with their loudness anymore. Well, i have misunderstood...so happy you didn't remove them : - ))))
  2. Btw, i'm listening over and over the combat music during the Warchief fight: It's really a masterpiece.
  3. I will use slow mode for every combat anyway, combat seems fast despite the running issue
  4. Probably cause you can blame the underneath creatures if some bad visitor disappear
  5. Why do u need walking when u have -Running -Slow mode -Stealth mode Stealth mode is good for carefully exploring environments, while running is fine for normal movements
  6. I really like the Stronghold in this game, both interiors and exteriors are well designed and it seems to have nice mechanics. -I will spend a nice amount of time on it by upgrading all structures and doing all bounties. -I will do a lot of "manual resolve" combat because it's like having new areas for free in which fighting, it will be nice to rek trolls inside the halls. -It will be my HQ and i will always rest in the manor for megabuffs, unless i'm doing a quest in the same area of an Inn. And most important, it will give little breaks from the main game and critical path, it's nice to have a supersafe place for your party to feel home. Do you like the keep? Do you will spend some time on it or you'll just ignore it?
  7. And Btw, Baldur's Gate had crickets at night too, so i really don't know why you forced him to remove them
  8. Majority of the games have crickets on nighttime, what's wrong with u guys? : ' ( They are a must for night wilderness area
  9. Did you erase cricket sound from the game?? I liked that sound..maybe a bit too loud but still the right sound for a night environment
  10. I think that we must give credit to Justin Bell, after he was heavily criticized. The bells of Justin revenged himself : - )
  11. No one said that. I was talking about the NPCs that stay there - the ones that grant the prestige and security bonuses or penalties. If those NPCs are not content, that's really lame. Antony Davis said something like "it's nice to see people walking around in the stronghold", maybe we can still hope
  12. Environments look really cool Combat music is excellent Models are nice I'm worried about the stronghold tho, it feels so empy. I hope we'll have lot of characters walking around, both outside and in interiors
  13. Combat is generally fast, yeah, but i have to say that the last fight lasted quite long, probably with a non overpowered party (like that one for stream purpose) could last even longer
  14. During the stronghold part, in which u could manually resolve a random combat, i noticed a kinda "ghouls invading the main hall" or something, it would be nice to have random fights on keep interiors!
  15. To be honest, i really like the combat music!
  16. Remember, 22:30 on Europe http://www.twitch.tv/pax2 Stay tuned
  17. I've always been charmed by 2d isometric games , dunno why. I remember in the early 90's i purchased the first X-com only looking at the screenshots on the back cover, i didn't even know what kind of game was. I loved it. Then after some years i purchased Baldur's gate without knowing anything about Rpg's, again, only attracted by screenshot on the back cover. It happened again with the first the sims. I was luck...all masterpieces : - D
  18. they can upgrade after release with a patch too
  19. Ehy Billy, not today, u mean Tonight, Tooooooniiiigh!!!
  20. They could do a port just to sell maximum 5 copies...and go bankrupt
  21. Neither far or nor close (it's that the proper english form? sry if not) The first one is on the center of the map, the other is on the bottom right.
  22. Sorry for the OT, but talking about 2d isometric i can't avoid mentioning that Maxis studios (2d isometric pioneers and gods) have just closed forever. I'm 30 years old and i feel so sad.
  23. Well, nowadays 3d looks pretty nice and the most recent games are awesome, both in tech and art aspects. Problem is that isometric view is still better in 2d, 'cause the camera is almost static and you can handcraft the environments in a spectacular way (like PoE is demonstrating) rather than rendering Diablo 3 was an exception, it was pretty nice even from an artistic point of view, despite being both isometric and 3d; He had to sacrifice dynamic lighting tho, to be smooth.
  24. Another BB would be appreciated but at this point it will be just a tool to avoid the wait. (a part for Sensuki who'll find new bugs to fix, but he's not human anyway)
