  1. I think it's the opposite. We need more of the stuff. Just “import” the whole Tome of battle somehow.
  2. Well then. Make all (priest?) spells mana-based (no slots). Those lower than half your maximum spell level give you mana, while the upper part costs mana to cast. The larger the difference between the spell level and that maximum spell level / 2 the higher the gain/cost. Want some storms of fireness? Better cast some blessings first! And when you are ready the battle is already over.
  3. Modals to convert all weapon damage to energy type (maybe even spell damage if possible), but you can take only one.
  4. It's simple. You can't be “absolutely certain” in anything, but it doesn't mean it's impossible to do anything at all. On day 1 bug forum exploded with reports. You let your players test things and then actually read their reports. It isn't exactly rocket science. And we aren't talking about abstract bugs that depend on hardware configuration or minor bugs which only happen when you do something obscure in a remote corner of the map when it is Tuesday here.
  5. Some dealbreaker bugs can and they don't depend on PC configuration. You know, import, respec and stuff. Bug-free programs likely don't exict, but games which you can actually start playing do.
  6. Relationships were fixed in the second patch released over a week ago now. The Respec issue is not a bug, it's just a feature a lot of people would like. Import was also fixed over a week ago. People keep parroting this game has X bug, and largely what I am seeing is people talking about release bugs that are either already fixed or are not really bugs but feature requests. POTD difficulty is also not a bug btw, it is a balance issue, one they have already addressed will be improved in the next 2 patches. Losing abilities while respeccing is a feature? Whatever floats your boat, man. And no, not everything is fixed.
  7. I expected bugs, personally. Just not the broken import, relationships and respec. Still waiting for my (one and only) playthrough.
  8. Yeah, I accidentally read somewhere myself. Feels kind of weird jumping through the hoops when they can push stuff I don't need without any trouble (Wasteland, for example).
  9. Ha. Any examples salamander? Hmm, well, there was a certain quest (one of the early ones, maybe?) where a group of people was searching for someone, and when I did find the one, my character understood that their story wasn't quite what they sold me. So she let the person go. Then I came back and my character said the truth. Understandably, they weren't amused, although I'm not quite sure their decision to attack a group of armed “hobos” was a smart move. And it's not like they had any power over my character, so, why attack me? Although that part is a bit fuzzy in my mind by now. My character is deadly truthful priestess of Eothas, I guess
  10. What about a DLC for no-fun-allowed people like us, those who don't do alcohol?
  11. From playing PoE1 I got the feeling that the only people who can afford to be totally honest are killing beasts (people often don't appreciate honest answers). Basically, if you see an honest man be on your guard. I found that kind of amusing, even if it was just my impression on how things worked.
  12. That is not a good solution at all, there are ship bounties. And there is a main story mechanic where enemy ships (fire giants) guard one place on the map using ships. Removing the mechanic completely would break those interactions. Which only “breaks” if for those who don't want it at all. Which is… not a problem in my book.
  13. That's what I'm talking about, though. Skip as in completely. And you won't get any loot as a result, of course.
  14. Skip button would be preferable. Restarting a game to get rid of something you don't like in its gameplay is kinda not user-friendly (which is important for those of us who only play it once). Maybe make it an option so it won't bother people who actually like ship combat.
  15. If they had time for that sort of thing I'd rather prefer all those numerious skills be accessible to all so one can make more meaningful choices.
  16. I happen to think mini-games in RPGs is a mistake, tbh. It's kinda nice when you like it (but then again if I wanted a different kind of game I'd play another game instead) and damn horrible when you don't.
  17. I do the same thing in any game where spells are a very limited resource, including mana-based systems. Outside of boss fights unless I've found some roundabout way to recover something I'm going to spend I don't. It feels weird to me, and I don't think that works really well in PC-based games. At least it doesn't for me. Which doesn't usually stop me from playing those games, but still I think that things can be improved somehow. At least with mana-based system you can have some sort of auto-recovery with time, although I'm not sure I actually played any that did it (nothing comes to mind at the moment).
  18. I'd rather say that playing a wizard and not casting spells is much more weird.
