  1. Both ships look pretty different to me. The only similarity is the bird theme in the name.
  2. Actually it was Incredible Hulk 181.
  3. They could try to come up with a less cliched storyline but I think that may be expecting too much.
  4. He is referred to as Emperor Palpatine in the original movies. The Palpatine name may not have been revealed until the third movie but I remember it being revealed. That's how in the Phantom Menace I immediately recognized who Senator Palpatine (who is also the same actor who played him in ROTJ).
  5. Invented for the new movies. Enough time (a generation) had probably passed since he became Emperor and no longer used the name Darth Sidious to hide his true intentions that the name was no longer in common use, had been forgotten.
  6. It is the same actor. It's the same character as well. They just haven't revealed this in the storyline in Star Wars. Hence, it's not in their database. If you want further proof they are the same, look at the entries for Darth Sidious, Senator/Chancellor Palpatine in the prequel movie time frame in the Star Wars D20 source books. Then compare that against the Emperor in the original movie timeframe in the rules. They are the same.
  7. Well Nomi Sunrider would be EU material so it would depend on what part of the site you read or whether they mention this fact.
  8. Oh, that would be great! I didn't even think of the lovely Ms. Hardy, much to my shame. Including her would also be a great way to bring back Flash, 'cause he and Peter became friends after high school. I'd like to see Flash back and back as his friend.
  9. Actually what would be great would be the appearance of the Sinister Six. Doc Octopus returns and bring along with him the Sandman and others. That would create more of a challenge for Spider-Man and perhaps would require the appearance of other heroes (perhaps Black Cat and Harry Osborn as the Green Goblin before he goes insane).
  10. In the first movie, at the intro to the Daily Bugle, Robbie tells J. Jonah Jameson that "Eddie hasn't been able to get a picture". That Eddie would be Eddie Brock, former employee of the Daily Bugle, who, after Spider-Man solved a crime where Brock had messed up the culprit, joined with the symbiote costume and became Venom. So, there might be a Venom. There might also be a Lizard, as Peter got fired in the first movie by Dr. Connors (Curt Conners). Good points, however, how would Venom be implemented? Connors can easily be represented. This goes for pretty much the basic, traditional Spidey villains. But Venom (and Carnage for that matter) are a different ball game. Unless it goes the standard bastardization route of crippling origins to fit a two minute description, Venom is something hard to include. Special government project? Secret project borked? Otherwordly occurences? Speaking of which, what i'd like to see in Spiderman 3 was the apperance of the Black Cat. This could add a different dynamic to the Parker/MJ relationship, and she was a somewhat capable heroine. A Spidey/Cat team up against a villain could be interesting. John Jameson is in Spider-Man 2 and is said to be an astronaut. I can see John going to the moon and the symbiote being in a rock that he brings back to earth. However, the symbiote joins with John and they become Venom, similar to how the moon rock bonded with Jameson to create Man-Wolf in the comics. (And I am not certain Man-Wolf would work in the movies anyway). I thought there were rumors around to this affect which is why I mention it. Connors had a larger role in Spider-Man 2 and we get to see him and he is missing an arm. Too bad they didn't allude to him doing experiments with lizards to see how they regrow limbs.
  11. Is it a ball? I thought that they were crushed, but their arms flailed out with some nice sound effects... A description I read said they were crushed into a ball. It also included the legs and arms going in weird angles. Seems like just a more brutal form of force grip to me though.
  12. Is it just me or does Force Crush seem similar to Force Grip? Instead choking them to death you just crush them into a ball.
  13. That's too bad. It would have been fun to use Force Crush on a Jar Jar lookalike.
  14. Its not cheating, just good tactics! B) No, it's a glitch/bug/loophole. Anyone can do it, so it's not skill. Well any1 can use force wave or a lightsabre so by ur logic they are not skills!!! But using those isn't taken advantage of an exploit/bug that may or may not exist in the sequel.
  15. But in practice it's not possible to remove Jedis completely. There will continue to be born people who are strong in the force. Without the Jedi Order, there would be more chaos or anarchy among force users and less support to prevent people from being turned to the Dark Side which is even worse.
  16. When Wizards of the Coast came out with D&D 3rd edition, they decided to make the basics behind the game more generic so it could be used for other game systems. They called that D20 and based it off the fact that the 20 sided die was the die used for most things throughout the game. Saving Throws, Skills, Feats, Ability Scores, idea of classes, etc are all D20. Star Wars D20 uses that system but added skills, feats, classes tailored towards Star Wars and removes ones that don't work. KOTOR uses Star Wars D20 system but changes a few things. For instance, Force Lightning is a skill I think in Star Wars D20 and using Force Powers takes away vitality points.
  17. I think two would work and maybe setting up a third one for the next movie. I found both the first and the second movies had long stretches not directly related to the villains.
  18. Sounds like an exploit/bug that should be fixed in KOTOR2 to me.
