  1. Fallout 3 is no longer in production. Once Interplay officially dies the license and what was finished of the game will go to Interplay's parent company, Titus. What happens next is anyones guess. And Titus themselves have filed bankruptcy. It's very feasible that both Interplay and Titus will die this year and then the remaining scraps should be up for sale to interested parties.
  2. Not that that would surprise me. There were after all 12 years or so between the movies. In terms of which is the better movie, T2 is by the far the better one in my opinion.
  3. Even better would be Force Persuade so you can force the opposing player to throw the match. :D
  4. Amateurs making Star Wars game aren't the same as dedicated professionals making an official game, using an engine best suited for the game they want to make. How many NWN modules are out there versus how many are actually good? Same with Morrowind mods. A small fraction are good.
  5. They can't do that because they first need to make a name for themselves, get themselves some money coming in before they can make games like that that are somewhat more risky. Why do you think it took BioWare so long to make their own IP like Jade Empire and Dragon Age? Obsidian right now are in, ironically, the same position BioWare was in when Feargus and Interplay gave them Baldur's Gate franchise to work on.
  6. I didn't find KOTOR1 very dark so I'd be surprised if the sequel was. But that's fine, I don't expect it to be. Just expect a good game.
  7. That would be a pretty cool Easter Egg.
  8. The game gave no reference to the books or the comic series. As a self contained SW Universe type of thing, broader reference could've been made, had it been important to the story line of the game itself. Hence, if Revan turns out to be simply a background character, they would not to have wrapped so much around him/er to pull off the new story. I thought for sure Exar Kun (40 years previous to KOTRO1?) was referred to. I think Jolee Bindo may mention it and possibly Canderous Ordo. Not a big factor in the game though and it was provided only for background/flavor.
  9. No I don't like manga too much. Just not accustomed to the style. Not big on Japanese animation either.
  10. The other thing about the skills in KOTOR1 was that they gave less skill points than in the P&P RPG for each class, mainly because there were less skills to choose. Otherwise, Scoundrels would be able to pick almost all skills in the game.
  11. A Pazaak tournament would be fun. Make it optional so people who don't like Pazaak can ignore it.
  12. Sure. It would be nice to have customization options like this.
  13. I'd like that. I see no reason why they don't do that other than needing to get more voice overs paid for.
  14. There are advantages to coming out with the PC version FIRST. It's a fact that no games that ship have no bugs. The developer should come out with PC version first, get a patch and fix any major complaints buyers may have with the game and then a month or two later come out with the XBox version. The reason? XBox games can't be patched. And don't mention XBox Live. I beleive Microsoft isn't allowing that to be used to patch games. Consider how better Deus Ex 2 would have been for the XBox if there had been a delay between the PC and XBox versions and the XBox incorporated the fixes they did in the PC patch to fix stealth and other problem areas.
  15. A LS Jedi would kill them though. He would reason himself that they are already dead so give them a merciful killing rather than Malak finally draining them to boost himself.
  16. I'd like a Star Wars RPG, not a reasonable action adventure masquerading as one.
  17. I didn't notice any drastic difference in UI size. It was the XBox version of the game that they showed though so if you are not familiar with that version of KOTOR1 it may seem so.
  18. The D20 rules allow you to use individual attacks in one round against different opponents if you have more than one attack per round. The number of attacks per round is keyed off of your base attack bonus. BioWare changed that when they implemented the game, to simplify the implementation I'd imagine. It would probably be a major change to their implementation though to change this.
  19. It takes a little away from Han Solo's character to have Greedo shooting first. Hell it was pointblank range. There is no way Greedo should have missed.
  20. That doesn't surprise me. Regardless of personal opinion, NWN sold more than 1 million copies. THey can't all have been tricked into buying it by BioWare hucksters.
  21. How about redone with the TOEE engine?
  22. All we know is they are going to outsource it. Maybe to Obsidian.
  23. I imagine they would give you a choice of starting feats, depending on the class. I think the official D20 Star Wars rules has that.
