  1. looks very good, but this engine doesn't seem suited for a big party controlled by the user
  2. happened to me too actually. You can advance by pressing the space bar
  3. no hotfix yet tho, so keep that in mind. I heard the patch introduced bugs like not being able to open chests and containers? Not sure how widespread that is....
  4. so all those fixes and balancing, those are included? weird, but cool
  5. delta - very small haven't heard the term related to patches and the likes before, but the term comes from math
  6. What do you mean a delta patch? They made a ton of fixes and balancing
  7. How can the patch be so small? 83MB? I heard the hotfix was 500MB?
  8. wait is that 83MB really the big 1.03 patch? I heard the fix afterwards is ~500MB so how is that possible?
  9. How? Because saying "He has it so I want it too!!" Is the way a 5 year old acts. Now the whole "it helps my immersion" thing i can respect if not really get. I mean really, stop playing a game just for THAT? Sounds to me like you just don't like the game and looking for a reason to stop, because if nothing else in the game grips you then walking probably wont either
  10. it should only be delayed 3-4 days I heard? Thats not so bad
  11. Yeah i guess i'll have to use the IE mod then, just to be in line with the "official" update build of the game. I'm not wasting 40 hours of play just to get some minor attributes adjusted
  12. So I heard the patch will update some of their attributes, but it doesn't work retroactively. Does anyone know if i wait to update before taking a new companion, will it update his stats?
  13. You guys sure? I remember even the devs talking about how the bonuses are supposed to stay only until you rest
  14. Can anyone explain to me why many people are so freaked out about not being able to walk? What's the point? And PLEASE don't say its because the NPCs in the world can walk, please prove to me there is an answer better than a 5 year old's
  15. Gee. First time playing the game. No idea even HOW to get to the next town, or even that it is possible to do so without fighting at least the one mob. Psychic I was not. I've learned how to get past them now, but did you somehow, magically KNOW exactly where you were going the first time YOU played? (Please no BS about how we should have checked online first. Some people don't like spoilers.) 1st of all, you have your journal and map, so you should know what direction you're supposed to go, a cave is surely not it. And even then, you should know a low lvl 2 wizard is no match for any wildlife in the beginning of a game, let a lone a bear
  16. is this after the 1.03 patch? it should have fixed this issue
  17. plus you can use conversations to lower the price to 1500
  18. Dont worry, pretty soon EVERYONE is gonna target you wizard and then you'll miss the day he was safe
  19. I understood the wiki was very outdated? Or is that wrong? EDIT- i actually checked and i can't find this quest in the wiki itself at all
  20. So, just out of curiosity, what are the other possible bonuses you can get from the stone faces? And is the spear the only weapon that this can be used on? I got + ACC and Dmg when attacking the same targets as my allies, as well as converting 20% of dmg(i think?) to endurance
  21. So the only real issue I have with the game is occasionally I get this weird graphics breakdowns, not sure any other way to describe them. You can see how it generally looks in the screenshots I attached. When the issue happens i tend to immediately exit to the main menu, and then either it goes black screen and back to normal, saying the display drivers crashed and recovered, or i get a BSOD and the whole PC restarts PC specs: win 7 32-bit 4GB RAM Radeon HD4870 AMD Phenom II x3 710 I know I'm scraping the bottom of the minimum specs, but besides that it works great, and I can even sometimes get a few good hours with no issue at all. EDIT- for some reason the uploader here doesn't let me upload any file.... so here are some links: Screenshots - (had to take with my phone as it was impossible to save a screenshots, the 3rd and 4th should show the problem best) - http://imgur.com/lSDBF26,KKJftPi,jrrqnOZ,Q7Szu1v Output log - http://www.pastebin.ca/2967957 dxdiag - http://www.pastebin.ca/2967959
  22. Because you only get it when you're half-dead, and most of those benefits are of minimal value to tanks. But it seems to me like it "super charges" you. I mean more health, hitting harder and faster, plus harder to get hit! (a) you're half-dead, so you're already taking damage too fast (b) the tiny endurance bonus is useless, and it doesn't slow down all of that damage you're taking in any meaningful way © hitting harder and faster is not very useful on a tank (d) the people who need to hit harder and faster are also the ones who absolutely cannot afford to get into situations placing them at <=50% endurance. (e) the ability shuts off when someone heals you Well im not a tank, im a wizard Although I do agree that it comepletely sucks that it goes away if getting healed and doesn't last the entire fight like other abilities that proc at below 50%
