  1. Sorry for the off topic but... how so? We get the color boxes right there, you teasers! Dear designers: changing colors once in game is good. Not top priority but still good for those fashion-conscious. Hah! I'm actually not certain how the designers are intending this to work, but this is actually already a bug written in our database, so we'll just have to wait and see what happens! Thanks for the feedback!
  2. Hello bob54386, Thank you for your posting. This is a known issue that has been added to our database. Please continue to enjoy the beta and thank you for your support!
  3. Hello everyone, Thank you for your postings. Options to exit both character creation and the adventurer's hall are known issues that have been added to our database. We also have knowledge of the concern with being able to jump ahead (or backwards) and cause errors with character creation. As for the culture positioning, I'm not really sure how the designers plan to address this concern but it has been suggested by both our QA and backers to re-position it, due to the "odd feeling" of necessity to revisit your attributes. Thank you all for your feedback, it is super helpful!
  4. Hello Yak of Wrath, This is a recurrence of a known issue. I will make sure that our database is updated with this information. As a workaround, you should be able to add the currency to your funds by placing it in the main character's inventory. Thank you for your support!
  5. Hello PrimeJunta, Thank you for your posting. This is a known issue and I believe it has already been resolved in current builds. Thanks!
  6. Hello top_block, Thank you for your posting. The issue with zooming after saving a game is known and we are working to resolve it before the next backer update. I'm glad you are enjoying the beta! We love it too. As for the leather armor, many of the armor is continually being updated and polished as we move forward with the project. So it is still possible that you might see some minor (or even major) changes to armor as the project updates. As for changing colors on the fly, I do believe this is something that the designers are still debating. I'm not sure their exact reasons for wanting it to be one way or another, but it's definitely a topic that you might be able to debate in the discussion forums. Thank you for your feedback and support during the beta!
  7. Hello all, Thank you for your postings. This is a known issue that has already been resolved on our current builds. You should see it no longer occurring in the next backer update. Thanks!
  8. Hello, Thank you all for your postings. We are aware of this issue. It is actually caused by saving your game as Waywocket mentioned. Once you save your zoom in and out function will affect our ambient map as well as the fog radius. Transtitioning and/or loading a game will fix this. Please continue to enjoy the backer beta and thank you for your support!

  10. Hello silverlock, Thank you for your posting. I'm looking for more information if possible for this issue as I was not able to reproduce it in testing. Did this only occur once or did you have it happen repeatedly? Also, if possible could you attach a save file of before this issue was occurring. You can find your save files at: %appdata%\..\LocalLow\Obsidian Entertainment\Pillars of Eternity\Saves\. Thank you!
  11. Hello warbaby2, This is actually by design. However, we will be implementing a notification to warn users that they have not allocated all of their points and will lose them if they continue. Thank you for your feedback!
  12. Hello warbaby2, Thank you for your posting. It looks like you might have been victim of a known bug where when your main character is reduced to 0 stamina by the wood beetles and some other creatures, you will be prematurely given a game over screen. This is not intended and is one of our top priority bugs. We hope to have it resolved by the next backer update. Thank you for your feedback and I hope you continue to enjoy the backer beta!
  13. Hello siril_dana, Thank you for your posting. This is an issue that our UI programmer should have already fixed and you should see it resolved in the next backer update. Thank you for your support and I hope you continue to enjoy the beta!
  14. Hi Thorh, Thank you for your posting. Would it be possible for you to provide your system specifications? Also, the file that is created when you crash your game should provide an output log full of information that we could use to aid in our resolution of this issue. After a crash, you can find your output log in this location: \Steam\steamapps\common\Pillars of Eternity - Public Beta\PillarsOfEternity_Data\output_log.txt Thank you!!
  15. Hello all, Thank you for your postings. This is a known issue, please refer to this location for more information. Thanks!
  16. Hello Labadal, Thank you for your posting. This a known issue and, do not worry, our character artist is working hard to help these poor orlans to have heads. Please continue to enjoy the backer beta and thank you for your support!
  17. Hello, This issue is caused by saving the game. If you save your game you will lose the ability to zoom in or out properly until you transition or load the game. We are aware of the issue and working on a resolution. Thank you for your posting and your support during the beta!
  18. This is also a known issue. It is partially resolved in that you cannot use all shortcut keys, but there are some instances where a few buttons are still functional. Thanks!
  19. That sounds like a wonderful idea! I'll be looking forward to see what others think about the issue. Thanks!
  20. Hello Catatonic Man, Worry not! We are aware of this issue and will have the bug resolved as we continue to polish the game. Thank you for your posting and your continued support!
  21. Hello Elerond, Thank you for your feedback. This issue is part of our database and we should have it resolved as we continue to polish the game. I hope you continue to enjoy the backer beta and thanks for your support!
  22. Hello cdbeaupied, Welcome to the forums and thank you for your posting. This issue is actually known and is caused by loading your game while in game. If you load your game from the main menu you should be able to complete your quests properly. I would expect a fix for this issue by the next backer update as it is one of our top priorities. Thank you for your assistance during the beta and I hope you continue to enjoy it!
  23. Hello Ark Evensong, The UI for item descriptions has actually already been redesigned in our current builds. It has been changed to include an [X] in the upper right hand corner and the enchant button is now far less awkward and misdirecting. Hopefully this found to be a more pleasant look as it is released in the next backer update. Thank you for your support!
  24. Hello all, This issue shown in the video is actually caused by the fine enchantment on the armor as sb5 had mentioned. The DT value shown in the inventory screen is reverting to the armor's base DT value and not displaying the bonus +2 DT gained from the fine quality mod. If you were to close and open the inventory screen the DT value would display correctly. Our UI programmer is aware of the issue and is going to put some checks in to more frequently update the DT value displayed. As for the issue with the combat log damage values. This is something that our programmers are working hard to find a practical resolution for. There are a very large number of situation based variables that can affect the final damage value displayed in the log. The challenge is to not overwhelm the combat log with all of this information, but still display the critical information necessary to understand what is happening. We have some other known issues that are affecting the values shown in the combat log as well, that need to be resolved and will help to clear up the confusion. Also, it should also be known that certain armor types have affects on certain damage types. All of this information is currently not displayed yet and will be more clear when they are displayed on the armor descriptions. As always, thank you for your tremendous support, all of the information if very helpful!
  25. Hello Dray Truoc, I double checked the scripted interaction in this area and it reads for me, "You notice a rusty keyhole between its jaws". If you have it, could you please attach a saved game or output log to assist in tracking this one down? You can find your output log here: \Steam\steamapps\common\Pillars of Eternity - Public Beta\PillarsOfEternity_Data\output_log.txt And your saved game files here: %appdata%\..\LocalLow\Obsidian Entertainment\Pillars of Eternity\Saves\ Thanks for your support!
