  1. I wonder if Death Godlikes can see each other's eyes.
  2. I didn't think about that... More zoom would require better resolution for ALL the 2D backgrounds. It's not worthy the time and effort.
  3. Very good ideas. Specially this: "Maybe... just maybe... let player control how big or small their AoE will be? You already did the hard part of making spell effects scale dynamically (pending bug fixes), so... it's just a small step to allow players to control the size. That would be epic"
  4. Yes! This is what I want for the Fire and Moon Godlike. :3 Me too. Let's insist until they add it.
  5. Other races can change: - hair color - skin color - facial hair (males, but I think female dwarfs should have it too and other female should have something else instead) - head - hair Godlikes, however, can only change their head. It'd be nice if we had more options. For example, if you create a Godlike monk, you'll be able to see their skin has two colors. Is it difficult to implement a way to change these colors? For example, Fire Godlike could have options like red and orange, Moon Godlike would have blue and white, and so on. I understand we will not really notice this during the game, though. Maybe that is why Obsidian didn't include this option. If they had a hair, we could change that too. Alternatively, more head options, some with hair, would be fine for me.
  6. There is no other way. They can't make everything like BG2. But now they'll have beta testers' feedback, so let's hope any bad changes can be improved.
  7. I can't imagine Obsidian including these awesome portraits without the option to create a character that truly looks like that. Please Obsidian, give us Godlike hair!
  8. Nice post. Specially the part above. I think they don't need to change the attributes position. Keep them in the middle, but jump from class to culture, then back to attributes and after that to appearance. It may sound confusing, but most people will only click in the "next" button below, so it doesn't really matter. As for the "missing classes", let's hope they add it later!
  9. I have no problem at all with the Beta content. But I'm curious, is there any chance they will release more later? Maybe the beginning of the game? Edit: by "later" I mean near the release of the final game.
  10. I agree too. I think the graphics are fine, so I wouldn't mind if the characters didn't look very good when we zoom in.
  11. I had the same problem in the Dyrford ruins. The zoom only affected the fog of war and there were ghost copies of the characters. I can't reproduce it, but it happened during combat.
  12. I'm checking the Chanter and it looks really interesting. I never played as a bard or even had one in my groups, but in PoE it'll be different.
  13. I'd like to see more hair options. Longer, braids, ponytails, bangs, hair covering an eye, goatees for man, godlike hair... As much variation as possible, please.
  14. atm it's buggy anyhow and only lets you only create lvl 1 character with 0xp regardles of the option you pick. plus i don't think there is a way to dismiss characters other than killing them intentionally either. That's right. I just lost 4000 cp for a level 1 adventurer...
  15. I really like this system. Can't wait to see it how it works in the final game.
  16. You can open the stash in your inventory and move things into it. Also when looting you can click on character faces for who should take it OR there should be a button for the stash and if you select that before hitting Take All it should all go in the stash (I think). If you click on the chest symbol below the "Take All", you can send the items directly to the stash.
  17. Do you think they will add some Forton-like portraits? People seem to love his hair: http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/62241-forton-is-a-joke/?hl=forton
  18. @Marceror IIRC there was a dialogue option in the gamescon video that required high Resolve. I'm thinking of playing as a paladin with good might and resolve or a druid with good intellect and perception. This will probably change constantly until the game is released, but I think we can't explore all options in one playthrough and that is good.
  19. I love the options in character creation: sub-races, culture, background... it adds a lot of depth and makes roleplaying more interesting. I got the same sense of the world. I'm glad we don't have story spoilers, because it's gonna be a very pleasant experience to discover this world and what is going on there.
  20. I will definately play as a Death Godlike Bleak Walker Paladin. But maybe I'll leave it for a second playthrough. I'm very interested in the Ranger and the Druid too.
  21. That is one of my favourites. Godlikes look good with hair. And speaking of that, it would be nice if there was a way to rotate the character head when we choose their hair. You can rotate the entire character model left and right by clicking on the model and dragging left or right. Thanks for letting me know! I didn't try the right way...
  22. I'm pretty sure they will include those variations. They are simply too cool to be left out.
