Also finished Pentiment. I enjoyed the game, but I agree with the criticisms made in this thread by @Hawke64 and @xzar_monty. Based on what I read, here and on Steam and Reddit, there are many things you can't influence and that may not make sense depending on how you play the characters. Not sure how to implement it, but I think there should be a way to be more successful in your investigation, even if it meant ending the game in act I. As for the ending: Spot on. I was playing yesterday past midnight and was getting tired of all the reading in the end. As for the conclusions in the first two acts,

How long is the final game supposed to be? I heard it will be smaller than PF:WotR.

I'm also playing Pentiment. I played for a little last year, but had to stop. The game became far more interesting once I knew who is who in the village and that I can talk to most people before triggering whatever advances the story at that point. Still in the beginning of Act II. I was disappointed in the first act because I imagined I had more time to investigate and ended up missing a certain action that required a specific time, no longer available. However, I did manage to gather some convincing evidence, despite failing a dialogue check. Anyway, I hope I got the right person.

Random video game news... the critical eyes have it

Well, let's see how good it is. If it looks like I'll play hundreds of hours then yes, I can pay a high price. -

I lost almost all interest in Starfield after seeing its price on Steam. Almost twice the price of The Outer Worlds and 50% more than BG3. I guess it will go to my wishlist and wait for a nearly impossible 67% or more discount. -

If it is like the D:OS 2 system, then you can pickpocket npcs while other party members distract them in a conversation, but they will want to check what you are carrying after they stop talking. The solution was to drop a bag or the stolen items before being asked to show your belongings. If they improve this system, then I'd expect people to get suspicious after too many npcs are robbed and they should at least search the surrounding area to see if you dropped the stolen goods somewhere. -

Another interesting Science channel. He analyses scientific articles and makes it understandable even for people who are not from the field. -

I don't know about that, but if it is like Pillars of Eternity, then nobody will react if you kill someone inside their houses. So take whatever you want. -

As I watched this I couldn't help but imagine what would happen if I cast a fireball in the streets. And then they show it in the video. lol -
I have to admit... I am dissapointed by the interview news.
InsaneCommander replied to Tnecniw's topic in Avowed Speculation
I have no problem with the race part, since I usually play as a human or elf anyway, but as for the ability tree, I'd rather have classes. That said, I need more information before deciding how much I like or dislike the system in this game. Who knows, perhaps there is no cypher at all or your character has the potential to choose any class. The recent trailer does mention some form of power that could save or destroy. It doesn't sound like a typical Eoran.- 37 replies

Little Witch Nobeta: 3D castle exploration with anime girls. A simple but fun game. Don't look at the Steam labels or you'll be disappointed (this can't be considered an RPG or Soulslike). Some bosses are annoying but nothing that can't be handled with a well timed dodge. I must have missed a tutorial in the early game, because I didn't know that you could run. This made some battles a little more difficult and I got stuck for a while in an area that required a longer jump. I'll make a random prediction now: the cat is the real villain of the story.

I became the cat's Uber driver. Now it even wants to be carried while on land.
