With the cost of the show, it would have to be far ahead in streaming numbers for it to be considered successful. It may have some company or competition in the near future: Warner Bros Just Destroyed The Rings Of Power I had never heard of this. It looks interesting, but knowing it was cancelled, I'll have to think twice before watching it.

Don't worry, Chat GPT will solve the creativity problem in the movie/tv industry. -
Picard 3.1 It has a new showrunner, Terry Matalas from 12 Monkeys (the tv show), let's see if he follows in Kurtzman's footsteps. So far, looks like more nutrek but the return of ST:TNG's cast makes me interested. I agree, that was the best part of the episode (I'll pretend the beginning didn't happen). Funny how a guy who loves so much to stick to the rules shows no respect to an admiral, even a retired one. 7 of 9 Hansen's reaction was nice to see too.

The series is funny, but by episode 4 you can see all those differences from Spy x Family. Besides what you say, there is also the better developed personalities of the main characters and the main plot, which gives you something to look forward to (instead of just wondering what Miri will destroy next). Kaina of the Great Snow Sea 3-4 Kaina and Ririha reach the Snow Sea, just to find Valghian soldiers waiting for them. It takes 30 days to go down the orbital tree and I don't wanna know what they were drinking during that time...

Buddy Daddies 4 This episode was hilarious and the best by far. Tired of spending all day with Miri when they can’t get more jobs (because of the one she ruined), they discover daycare is a thing and try to enroll Miri. Only to learn about all the bureaucracy involved and having even more trouble, like sewing Miri’s name in everything she will take to school. Also, they find out that whatever you say in front of a kid will be repeated in the most inappropriate moments.

Buddy Daddies 1-3 Don’t mention this in Crunchyroll's comment section, but this is basically Spy x Family with two dads and they are both assassins. The main difference so far is that there is no main plot and the parenting problems are more realistic. Also, the child is not a telepath, but she makes Anya look like a saint in comparison. Kazuki and Rei are roommates and hitmen that end up with a child, Miri, after killing her father and finding out her mother doesn’t want anything to do with her. Because of their past, it doesn't take long until they accept the girl and become her fathers, despite having no idea of what they are doing. They even take her to one of her jobs. She was supposed to stay in the van, but she had to pee… and then she ended up entering the target’s house and completely ruining the job. Overall, I still prefer Spy x Family, but this one is pretty funny too.
