I had that feeling of not getting things done in the beginning. But after leaving the Druid grove, there is a lot more going on. I tried to pickpocket a guy, failed miserably and still went unnoticed when the woman that was speaking to him vanished in thin air. This game does a bad job hiding things. You are warned when a perception check fails, which is basically the same as succeeding when it comes to traps with obvious mechanisms on the map. I'm trying to be a good character, but the game won't cooperate. Unlike in other cases, I succeed at every check to avoid combat and have to come up with excuses to do it anyway. I think I'll start behaving as an intelligence 8 character and stop with the persuasion. Backstabbing globins is ok, but the Owlbear was not since it ended up causing In another case, I blocked the doors of a house with barrels and forced the enemies to fight me one at a time. Where is my "Barrel's Gate" Achievement?

Furries are killing people. Perhaps @HoonDing forgot to kill the Kitsune in WotR? Gale is jealous! And is that first option about Shadowheart's comment? The Barbarian has a teddy bear.

I'm still in the beginning, but it doesn't look as good as most people consider it imo. It has a lot of small things that annoy me, but that didn't stop me from playing Kingmaker. I think I’ll definitely enjoy BG3 a lot, but I’m also looking forward to my next WotR pt. So, there is a way to pickpocket with impunity. A character robs an npc and immediately goes to the camp. One of the others will be questioned, but can simply say they are innocent. It helps if you distract the target in conversation, but there was at least one occasion when the npc dropped out of dialogue to call a guard, so better teleport to the camp asap. Too much of hassle. The game can’t decide whether it will show the companions’ reactions for more than a second. I’ve had to reload on some occasions, like when I thought someone had disapproved that I wouldn't trust Raphael. Another really annoying thing is when I reach a conversation but the companions are too far behind and can’t react to it.

Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, Part VII

Not really. Imagine this in Alushinyrra: Not sure about combat, but dialogue will be something else. -
Wanna change your character's appearance after character creation? Apparently it's coming.

I turned into a wolf in front of her and she didn't react. Either she is smart enough to know I'm not a real wolf or her character sheet is lying. I always get the message they were spent, but I never checked if that was indeed the case.

The companions’ reactions have normalized for some reason. Funny how Lae’zel and Shadowheart are suddenly approving everything I do. They were dangerously close to the red side of the bar. I did some tests and gathered some information on robbing: - The cat form can’t pickpocket. - If you are not in the npcs’ field of view, but close to them, they can hear you taking items from containers and will notice the robbery. I’ll have to test using the silence spell and see if it helps. - If you steal/pickpocket too much (sometimes as little as two times), people will notice and demand answers from a party member. For some reason, they always assumed Shadowheart was the culprit. - Taking items from a container caused the suspicion when an npc entered the room. They talked with a party member that was innocent and gave up after I passed a persuasion check. - When pickpocketing, the npc noticed after I took the second item, despite my success in both sleight of hand checks. They went to question Shadowheart and let her go after she claimed to be innocent (no dice roll required). But then they came to talk to my pc (ignoring the others, who were closer) and I had to choose between going to jail, bribing or attacking them. Bribing never worked for me. - Putting the pickpocketed goods in a container and moving away didn’t work. It’s an improvement on D:OS2, where this would be enough to avoid getting caught. But it could be that they found other items, that I took from the containers before, I’m not sure. So it doesn’t seem to be worth the trouble, except for specific or truly valuable items. - Not exactly about robbing, but thieves' tools are spent even if you succeed when lockpicking. - Apparently it’s a crime to steal from some of the dead bodies of the goblins who attacked the area. Go figure. Edit: there is also an option to return the stolen goods. I ddin't pick it so I don't know what happens later.

That made no sense. And she is always complaining we have to hurry. Imagine if she didn't own you her life. That is a good idea. So far I've only used it to distract npcs and rob them, but it doesn't work very well. Not sure if they hear me opening containers and I suck at pickpocketing or maybe Thiefling criminals can't be robbed, but I usually get caught and lose reputation. Anyway, I'm leaving that task to Lae'zel since she doesn't care if people hate her. The Companions' reactions show for less than a second. It's really annoying. I even tried to increase the font size, but it only affects dialogues, not these notifications.

Everybody gangsta until the druid you pickpocketed wildshapes into a giant spider: I felt bad about it, reloaded and turned into a cat instead:
-
Is there a way to check past reactions from the companions? Something happened and the reaction text was shown for less than a second. I have no idea who liked what I did and who didn't.
-
That is indeed the case. I shouldn't speculate when playing half-asleep at 2 in the morning. Though, if this is anything like D:OS, we should be able to do it with a couple of needles. I didn't try that because none of the hats I have suit her. I found the floppy, brimmed (wizard) and rufflesome hats. Bloodless, from Bloodstained, will be proud.

I played a little more and noticed some problems, mostly minor stuff, but there is at least one major one: - The formation system is really bad in this game. How do I put Lae’zel (the fighter) in the second position? My character has to be the first for dialogues (she barely speaks so if I don’t do that, she will become irrelevant) and I can’t choose the position of the others. When I can plan ahead of a fight, I can separate the party and position everyone individually, which is not that bad, but how bad will it be when the battle starts after a dialogue? Well, at least my Druid and Shadowheart have higher AC than Lae’zel. Once I moved Lae’zel to the second position and it worked, but now she just comes last, probably because she joined the party after the others. Do I need to remove and re-add companions every time I wanna change the formation? Not sure what would be stranger, nobody having complained about this during early access or Larian ignoring it. - Thieves’ tools are spent even when they aren’t necessary. For example: the DC is 10 and I have +5 bonus and +1d4 from Guidance. Perhaps I won't use the tools, even if I can’t re-roll. But why waste them if I can try again and again? Do I need to put them in a container before opening a door, to avoid wasting them? Or am I only allowed to try again because I still have tools? I didn't check this last possibility. - Reached the first dungeon and, despite its small size, I found multiple copies of the same books (6 “The Unclaimed”, 5 “The Curse of the Vampyr”, 5 “The Mortal View: Eyewitnesses Accounts of the Bhaalspawn Crisis” and 4 “Death & Divinity: A Godly Guide”). There were even some copies together in the same shelf. Who makes the loot tables? - Hats mess with hair style and color. You don’t really notice it while not in a dialogue so just hide them in conversations or remove them. Other things: The two guys I shoved into a hole were actually alive and not friendly at all. The Inspiration system is interesting. You can gain XP and an Inspiration point (that allows you to reroll a failed check) when doing certain actions that make sense for your background.

Does the Trickster interaction with the Fullsome Queen count? -
Wrong. It's Barrel: Original Gate.

I turned into a cat and easily robbed some guys since they didn't even notice me. Don't ask me how a cat can grab everything in their camp and carry it away though. And they totally deserved it since, besides not petting a cat, they even attacked me later (not because of the robbery). I also ended up killing all four of them by pushing them from a higher place, two into a hole and one of the other two was shoved twice. Very satisfying. I forgot to try to pickpocket them. I'll do it the first opportunity I have. Btw, once the battle begun, they became hostile to the cat. Edit: I didn't take anything marked as red, so I might still need to avoid being seen if that was the case. But at least the cat didn't trigger a conversation or reaction from them.

Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, Part VII

In Nyrissa's case, I agree with @Zoraptor, there was a good enough excuse for her acts. Even if she didn't care about what she would do before it happened, she might have changed her mind if she was not changed. I guess it's the benefit of the doubt. Even Hulrun made it out alive in the end. And it had a good effect when I made a choice in Iz. -
Well, this was a good start: My character is an urchin Elf Druid, so I put some brown in her hair and a subtle colored tattoo to make her look dirty, as someone who lives in the streets or the woods. I guess the create water spell doesn't make it hot enough for a bath. Edit: the game hates me

Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, Part 6

Yes. The secret ending: Btw -
Would it be that hard to add some sliders for body/face? I hope that is not the case. I was not playing to use it, but if it is like this, then why not? My first character would be fine either way.

Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, Part 6
InsaneCommander replied to bugarup's topic in Computer and Console
I was actually surprised I managed to save everyone. The Queen, the Hand, Irabeth... Well, except for the evil characters. Camellia and Wenduag didn't even appear in my ending slides. I didn't try to get it, and it wouldn't fit my character. Or are you talking about the post credits scene? -
Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, Part 6

Finished the game. The battles in the Threshold were considerably more difficult, with the exception of the last one, which was ridiculously easy. They should have made act 5 closer to that. The last boss basically died with a non-metamagic Hellfire Ray, since I tried to use Evil Eye first. Oh, and the achievements are still totally bugged. I had already gotten some for defeating bosses on Core, even though I played on normal, and now I got the Aroden one, for beating the game on Core + Last Azlanti. -
I'll be joining really soon. I'm inside the Threshold fortress in PF:WotR.
