Waiting for the back surgeon video appointment. If they (and hubby) say "yes", guess we'll be driving down to San Fran in the near future. It's "outpatient" surgery but I think still general anesthesia (likely so the patient won't move/sneeze/twitch re: delicate surgery fiddling) so would need driver after. I'm a little nervous for some reason. Just the fussy/worried spouse I guess. At least it's not the more mega/major fusion/replacement stuff.2 points

Hi Devs, These were all missing from Grounded 1, and would be welcome additions to the sequel. After all, lizards eat spiders, and frogs eat mosquitoes2 points

Hi Devs, Consider making the birds random appearance on the map impact the world beyond dropping feathers ... This time around, have make it safer for players by scattering the spiders, who, would be potential prey for the birds IRL.2 points

That sounds like something a bot would say.2 points

Bugs: 1. Lag, especially with multiplayer. The host is fine, but whoever joins has a lot of hitching and fps issues. 2. Multiplayer issues in general. I had a save made, but when I invited my friend, it said the save was no longer available. 3. Respawning. Pressed respawn after dying and was stuck staring at the world. When pressing escape it said: "Can't save: no player character found" Feedback: 1. I enjoyed having the freedom to choose what goes on my hotbar 2. At the very least, I NEED to be able to scroll through my hotbar, I can't do the numbers. 3. I don't see the point in making the axe, hammer, and shovel "easier". I liked having it and being able to hit the grass instead of just sitting and holding E. Might just be a personal preference. 4. In conclusion, I just liked a lot of the features in Grounded... if you kept everything in grounded and just changed the map and story, and added these new features like riding bugs, I would've been fine lol. Just my opinion.1 point

Found another bug within that whole O.R.C. Transmitters quest line. When I got to the Stone Stash, there was not a single O.R.C enemy was in sight. restarted the game and no fix.1 point

Hi Devs, Consider allowing spiders to walk up vertical surfaces and ceilings on map structures, and inside tunnels. After all, that's how it works IRL, and it would help make Grounded 2 further stand out from its predecessor. Just block this from occuring on base materials, so we can feel safe there1 point

I was playing on my friend's server on Grounded 2 riding my pet soldier ant into the red ant hill when his game crashed. I relogged onto his server to find my pet ant is no where to be found even though my pet is in my buggies list. I figured maybe it's a one time thing and it wouldn't happen again so I got another soldier ant pet. About 30 minutes later exploring near the picnic table at the snackbar front region I crashed. When I relogged I could not find my second soldier ant pet. It was sorta frustrating since I had to go into the ant hill twice to get the red soldier ant egg only to lose my pets twice.1 point

I was going to try Twinkling Watermelon (2023) next. Two of the 2L's from WH are in it and I've heard some good things. Guy goes back to the 90's, has to get his parents together. So heartwarming family drama/romance/comedy, maybe with a focus on music? Of the streaming I sub to, it was only on my Viki website/tablet app, dunno if it's on other services/other regions etc. Edit: think the FL is Seol In-ah. There were two common teasers I found, one more the comedy and the other maybe the family drama side.1 point

I think the hotpouch in grounded to should let you move in game while having it opened. I just think it sucks when your mid fight and have to open the hot pouch and chose something else while not moving.1 point

After a bit more testing I'm pretty sure it's only items with itemmods that are applying the "-x% Hostile effect duration" directly as a status effect that can cause this bug. Which would explain why itemmods like Lone Wolf that apply the status effect through an ability won't trigger it.1 point
-
The Chained God is definitely worth it, as it directly continues the story after the end of game save. The other two seasonal updates with the Sidhe I lost interest in. All the seasonal content starts at the end of campaign save - so you go back to a save before you played the other dlc. It is a bit odd.1 point

Yeah, I have seen it, but thanks for thinking of me anyway. I've been considering it, but frankly, there is no way I will play it anytime soon, so I will pass for now. I generally try not to buy games now, which I am unlikely to play right away, as I end up with endless backlog, that I never get around to actually playing. Speaking of fighting games:1 point

While I am in love with the buggies and really happy about being able to ride them, I am not so happy about hopping off to do something and it walking directly in my face and making me interact with it instead of what I was trying to do. It automatically follows when you ride, which is fine and all, but it would be nice if follow actually meant follow with a reasonable distance from the player and not 'walk all around and on top of me and get directly in my way.'1 point

Hi Devs, It's a constant source of frustration when guests in multiplayer games, leave without returning their inventory contents to our bases for collective use. Please consider adding functionality for item auto-transfer as part for the player logout process.1 point

Hi Devs, Consider changing the AI behaviour of buggies so that if/when their player is knocked down, they attempt to back out of fights, then return to revive them before the timer runs out. This would reduce frustration from repeat deaths solo play especially.1 point

I completed King Arthur after about 75 hours My final choice of Knights for the last quest was Mordred, Fairy Knight, Merlin and Yvain Lancelot and Balin were healing so they weren't part of my final selection I really enjoyed how you had to use different knights to create different combat strategies, it made each combat unique around mechanics The game really delivered on combat and how the economy worked around Camelot upgrades The narrative was okay, nothing too exciting But great game overall, 70/100 on the globally respected " BruceVC game rating system"1 point

i didnt know where to thank you, whoever composed it. The Music is one of the best i ever heard in a video game! Thank you very much for the great Title screen Theme! I searched the internet to find out who the composer is but couldnt find anything! Please let me know, cause i love it so much! Thanks Chris1 point

Pressurized/Spring Loaded Bug Traps! Can we live out our wildest Home Alone and Predator dreams by being able to set traps in Grounded 2? How about allowing us to place Spike Traps on the front of wooden doors and bug rubber on the back of the door which is being pulled against a wall with crude rope that also lines the door way and is attached to a heavy object? So that if someone or something trips the rope going through the door way, Smack, the door slams? Simple. Brutal. Satisfying. This same trap could be used on the ground without spikes to launch characters and objects into the sky. Or with Spikes as sort of a pop up defense. False floors over deep holes would be fun too. Luring over a big insect just for him to fall down a hole with spikes at the bottom or surprise you and jump over the trap would be amazing. Being able to rig up the equivalent of a swinging log would also be epic! Or using the Red Ant Buggies to help you make a Raiders of the Lost Ark boulder trap would rock too.1 point

Traps can be a blast. When I played The Forest I set a ridiculous number of traps. Getting materials took time but then watching the enemies get constantly caught was extremely entertaining. 100% agree traps would be great in Grounded.1 point

Let's talk about the UI. I thought the Grounded 1 UI was great and loved that you could find UI customizations in the form of the SCA.Bs around the map. This UI in comparison feels a lot more dull, while also being less functional and more confusing. I don't want to be super negative with this post because I absolutely love this game. I just want to give some feedback about what, from my perspective, feels like a big step backward in the UI from Grounded 1. I'll start first with the positives What is good about the new UI? All of the menus themselves are quite functional. I love the new map! It takes on a more realistic look than in Grounded 1 and I think it's awesome to be able to see Sites and Wonders on the map. This also encourages exploration because you see things on the map that look interesting and naturally want to go there. The entire "Show Stat Details" page is incredible. I love seeing all of the details of your health, stamina, damage type, resistances, etc. I also love that the gear and mutation effects also show you the exact place they are coming from! This was an awesome idea that makes it very clear what is contributing to your success (or bringing you down!) I love that the mutations are broken up into categories now. It makes it a lot easier to find things than in Grounded 1 where there were just a huge block of tiles with symbols on them. I also love that it shows your progress and what is required to level up each one! The molar upgrades being done from the player menu is sooo much better than having to run to a field station. I never thought about it in G1, but it is a huge QoL improvement. When does it feel less functional and more clunky to use? When entering the inventory with Tab, it should ALWAYS default to your inventory. There is no reason to save the state of which ever knob you had selected before when 90% of the time, you will want to look for your inventory. I found myself hitting tab to open the inventory to be greeted with my mutations menu. Confused, I back out to the game and hit tab again hoping to get to my inventory to instead be greeted again with my mutations menu. There is only 1 hotbar now! When I first played Grounded 1, I thought it was really odd that there were multiple, cycling hotbars. But then the more I played the game, the more I found myself using them and cycling between them. Bring back that feature! The hotbar doesn't show in your inventory menu until you go to drag an item to it. I find this to be an incredibly odd design choice. It took me a solid 10 minutes to figure out how to assign something to my hotbar from my inventory when I had 1000+ hours in Grounded 1. The knob on the top right instead of tabs is confusing, especially when combined with issue 1 mentioned above. Since the knob radial is small and up in the top corner, my eyes don't shift there to realize I just need to change which menu I am in. And with only small symbols to denote which menu it is, I find myself flipping through them to find the correct thing. In Grounded 1, we had big text tabs at the top that draw your eyes and make the flow between menus a lot more intuitive. As a side note, perhaps make it more obvious that you can swap between them with Q and E. Took me 10+ hours of play time to realize that. Sorting in your inventory and in chests does not have a dedicated, static menu button, just a keybind of Y that you need to hold? Why not just tap Y? Why do I need to highlight something in the inventory of a chest I am looking in to be able to sort it? Add back static sorting buttons in the menu itself. When you are riding your buggy, you can't access the buggy's inventory. Seems like it may just be a feature that hasn't been implemented yet, but I thought I would point it out. I wish you could see the various buff symbols with tool tips in the main character UI instead of in the "Show Stat Details" menu. I generally like a lot of the QoL improvements that came to some of the menus, like the detailed stats page, the map and the mutations page. But the overall look-and-feel and general intuitiveness of the UI has taken a few steps backward.1 point

I would like if they added a 9th button to the hotbar and that is the omni tool button and we swap to it and can then left click to utilize it. This would be similar to the GW2 action bar were they have the button for swapping kits as as a smaller button to the left with the default hotkey as ~.1 point
-
Yeah, every time I open a chest, one of my items automatically gets deposited into storage. I always have to go back and figure out which chest it ended up in.1 point
-
I would love for the omni-tool to just be a tool in your inventory. I understand wanting to free up inventory slots for the hotbar/inventory, but we could be much more intentional with our actions if we could hold the tool like in Grounded 1. I love the concept of the multi-tool and the devs being able to focus on making more weapons is amazing. Just the execution feels off whenever you try to pick up a pebble and randomly chop at a blade of grass.1 point

Hello Grounded community! I have been playing Grounded since around 2021 and have loved every minute of it. So I was excited to hear about Grounded 2 being released, with all the new bugs and possibilities I knew I would be playing non stop for weeks and I still am. However I have one issue that I was hoping to have help with. I have been diagnosed with PNES, its a neurological condition, think of them like stress induced seizures. That is not really the problem though, the problem is that I also have katsaridaphobia, which is like arachnaphobia but for ****roaches. I am currently undergoing therapy for both of these conditions however i still get panic attacks and occasionally seizures when a giant ****roach runs across my screen. I cant muster up enough courage to kill them or even get near them. Because of this I was hoping it is possible to add a phobia mode for the ****roaches. The Nymphs don't bother me whatsoever and I actually think they're kind of cute, it is just adult ****roaches (and of course the queen lol) that bother me. I do not expect to be catered to, as I know there is so many phobias for insects, and its almost impossible with all the amazing bugs in the game to add a phobia mode for all of them. However I was just "shooting my shot" and wanted to see if it could be done. With great love -Jawn_Boat1 point

Thanks for your answer, @karmicaura! I think the abilities are well-designed, too. It's just tiring for me when I come back from death, my armor is gone, my arrows and medicine are used up (that is all ok), and the enemy is back to full health (that feels a little unfair for me). It often annoys me, but I either come back stronger or just leave it. I would like it if enemies regenerated their health more slowly, maybe only when they're asleep or something.1 point

I remain sceptical as to how well that will work. I kinda sorta agree with the premise, which is that children are being damaged by the internet, I'm just not sure how well this policy will actually work to fix that.1 point

Hi, Why not give players the opportunity to bond with their Grounded 2 pets/mounts further, by ensuring they 'care' for them over time (e.g. sharing food, petting and giving them rest between missions, etc). More games need to bake EQ into their design, and this is a great example of how Grounded 2 could do that for impressionable young players.1 point

Hi, Grounded 2 story, seasonal or festive themed live events could spice up the mid and end game for players across the map, and extend the co-op experience further. Hopefully people can rally behind this idea, by not only voting for it, but also suggesting ideas for live events as they learn more about the story.1 point

Lag is definitely a problem. I was trying out the new option to have a save anyone can access even when Iโm not on to host but oh boy we had to take a break and go play OG Grounded again because of lag. Even as host on Steam I had lag. Oh and some of the items were falling below the ground occasionally. However! With what I saw as upgrades to the original in terms of tool use, enemies and such, I was extremely pleased with the direction they are taking the sequel. Honestly because of the studioโs history Iโm way more confident in seeing these things fixed than I would be with things made by others. They have a good track record.1 point

LOVING the game so far, here's things I've noticed Bugs: -I keep getting clover and gnats disappearing under the ground, and trhe clover especially likes to slide forever on seemingly flat ground. Feedback: -strafe speed seems a little low/ movement isn't as polised as G1 yet. -Holding E on the omnitool is less than satisfying compared to OG tools. I'd like to be able to manaully swing the toold with clicks. -Very much not a fan of the crafting wheel, I miss being able to pick from the full list of building menu items. -Parry timing seems a little late vs. the enemy animations (possible skill issue)1 point

I can literally see him in edge water he is saying "I don't want any trouble" what the hell This will ruin my whole Perfect run since I am doing this in the very last part of the game. I have Spacers choice edition. Two options for this glitch: 1. First go to Trask he's near the Deserters in edge water and he will say "I don't want a Trouble" don't interact with him , Then steal the RING from behind him. Then in Harlow the dialogue will be : " I found your Man already, Is this the ring you wanted? ". 2. Second option Just the normal glitched Dialogue with Harlow if you don't do anything: " I'm pretty sure I killed a guy by that name, Didn't get his ring, though. " Either way we can't meet his wife or do the intended quest. Kindly anyone fix this Big oversight.1 point

Seasons Bug behavior Spring= Increase in bugs in map above ground Summer= Increase aggressiveness and speed Fall= Increase Territorial and increase in defense Winter= decrease bugs above ground but increase bugs under ground Weather Events Rain = Metor Shower , mud As rain drop is about to hit it gets dark for 1.5 seconds before impacting, there for if in grassy area making hard to terrain due to mud. Snow = As it snows, snow starts to stick and accumulate causing the character to move slower until a fire camp is present. Using a torch will slow down the effect but it drains faster and can not be repaired in the snow Fog = Harder to see and slight increase in speed and the park goes quiet making predator bugs more active. Heat wave= thirst increases and burn starts to accumulate. bugs increase speed when digging and increase first attack strike. Can only be perfect blocked. Blocking ahead of time staggers character. Cloudy = Shortest time frame of all the weathers and rarest. Perfect weather during this time all biomes effects are nullified. Sunny = normal There's more but i got tired of typing. Theses are just suggestions. Please feel free to edit or add.1 point
