  1. The last hurrah from Mimimi games will be out on Dec6, in form of a double DLCs for Shadow Gambit adding a new mini-campaign consisting of 6 new missions total. Both DLCs will introduce a new playable character and island each, and they will integrate with the base game (so new characters can be used for existing missions).

  2. My favorite thing about this picture is the thousand-yard stare on his face. This guy has seen some $#!+.

  4. I'll always be here (I mean as long as I'm able to). Checking in at least once a day. I'm just not playing the game atm (really squeezed everthing out of it I guess), there are very few new players who come here and ask something - and also nothing new was coming for Friends of Eora™ during the last months*, so not much to talk about. * although I get some weird PoE3 vibes from Twitter the last days...

  5. Hi all, It's been a while since there has been no discussion on this topic, and the activity on the forum as a whole has been reduced a lot for a few months. I don't know if it is related to BG3 release (not playing myself, not enough time to launch myself into something as new as freaking real 3D) or just the semi-old age of the game in general. I think the mod has been stable for long enough to consider it complete and to take the time to thank everybody involved for this experience. I'm not completely quitting the mod (I would correct any critical issue) or even the forum but I just wanted to say goodbye and thank you before there is no one left here. Cheers to everyone who participated on this mod (it was my first mod ever), on this thread, on this forum or even on PoE1 forum ! My first thoughts go to @Noqn who made some of the changes for the mod, resident @Boeroer for all his advices even he was not a direct user (I presume) and @thelee for his Faq and general expertise. And for all the ones who "liked" the release post of the new versions, it always help keeping oneself motivated ! It's been a major hobby for a couple of years of my life, and I enjoyed a lot the community here !

  6. I am using the Xbox App on a Windows 11 home PC. I had Grounded installed for a few months just fine then all of a sudden on Saturday Morning it was gone from my computer. I reinstalled it and had this error. Everything is Up to Date on my computer and the Virus/Malware scan came back clean. I have tried verifying files. uninstalling and re-installing the game again. I tried deleting the problem files and letting them get reinstalled. I also tried changing the compatibility of the file. I am at a loss for what to try next.

  7. You gut a lot further than I thought you would. Perhaps it really was the glacial pace. Toys In The Attic was easily the worst of the entire show. I hated watching every second of it. Liked Jupiter Jazz a lot more than the episodes preceeding or following it, but that is me and my enjoyment of mysteries. Looking at the episodes a bit more objectively, they basically start with Faye doing something that the plot requires, not something that would make sense in the context of the show. Eh. Well, it would not be entirely out of character for Faye, just a whole slew of episodes too late for her to pull something like that off. The show certainly shares an issue with Noir insofar as that it promises more than it delivers as most episodes just meander about without contributing anything of note to the character development. Dunno, honestly. Don't get why it was so popular, but as we're currently summoning the Wrath of @PK htiw klaw eriF, well, perhaps he'll swoop in with a longer rant.

  8. Cowboy Bebop, episode 11: Toys in the Attic. It's the Alien-ish rip-off episode. Some little creature is sneaking around biting everyone, which isn't killing them, but making them very sick. Also, episodes 12 and 13, Jupiter Jazz, which were main story episodes that start with Faye running off for unexplained reasons, and then episode 14, the chess episode. Now, you're probably wondering why I watched so many episodes in a row given my previous glacially slow rate of watching this. Well, as it happens, I thought I was perhaps doing myself a disservice by watching it so slowly, and that I might enjoy it more if I watched more of it consecutively rather than months apart. It turns out that my thinking was very wrong, because now I don't really want to watch any more of this show at all because I'm pretty certain that I just straight up do not like it due to a number of factors that I could go into...but really, why bother? It henceforth goes into that Princess Mononoke tier where there are obviously many good things about it that should place it well above its peers, but...for some reason, no, it just doesn't come together as a whole for me. In other words, into the trash it goes.

  9. Okay then, how about Jusant? I've posted pictures of it so you can judge for yourself if the art style is realistic enough for you. The game is super chill and there's zero violence. You climb. That's the game, you climb.

  10. They almost certainly won't -- and in case they do, things are going very seriously wrong on other fronts (literal and figurative) as well. However, Russia is clearly intent on creating havoc inside Finland, and it's also almost certain that we haven't seen much of it yet. It's not going to be pleasant. As one of our politicians pointed out yesterday, the current refugee situation hinges on the fact that Russia doesn't give a damn about any treaties or anyone's well-being, whereas Finland generally tends to be a decent customer and prefers to hold on to what has been agreed to. The downside of this, for Finland right now, is that the country is quite exploitable: start pouring in refugees so that they'll end up either in Finland or dead, and it's likely that Finland will try to absorb at least a significant amount of them. I think it shouldn't, but it likely will -- even if some of those people are Wagnerites, GRU folks or other people of the sort you really wouldn't want to introduce to your folks at home. Russia is also doing its very best to convince the Russian minority in Finland that all of this has everything to do with Finland being evil and none of it has anything to do with Ukraine. At the moment, it's impossble to gauge how well that project is going, but I'd be prepared to bet that most Russian natives in Finland tend to side with Russia, not Finland.

  11. FYI as a reminder to everyone here - spiritual weapons scale from 20% lash to 31% lash depending on well you've been paying attention to dispositions. Neutral case is 25% lash. Obsidian-provided NPCs have no disposition, so they will always have neutral effects on anything that cares about disposition - so Vatnir will get a 25% lash (and a neutral Holy Radiance), which is plenty good. Truth be told, even being the worst role-player whatsoever, even a 20% lash on legendary weapons is pretty good, especially for a zealot that gets a lot of additive bonuses multiplied by that lash. 31% is pretty great though, arguably makes max-disposition legendary weapons some of the best in the game (especially woedica's). I really like Vatnir's priest subclass and really wish it wasn't just limited to him.

  12. I personally like a good Witch - but with a morning star (The Willbreaker), NOT blunderbusses (or mortars). Because you'd lose Blood Thirst when using blunderbusses (doesn't work with reload, only recovery) and that's the best part of any Barbarian in my opinion. With the Willbreaker you can not only lower Will per hit (always good for a Cipher) but also Fortitude with the modal which helps to apply Soul Ignition and Disintegrate - which then trigger Blood Thirst (once they kill). Combine with Spirit Frenzy (to stagger with your Carnage and all your spells) - don't upgrade to Spirit Tornado (it's bugged and doesn't stagger with Carnage and spells then). Single class Cipher: Serafen's two mortars become pretty fun once you get Time Parasite and Shared Nightmare. The increased AoE of Shared Nightmare also works for weapons' AoE(!) which makes the AoE of mortars ridiculously big. Especially if you also took Greater Focus and maybe even wear Aloth's Armor and a Ring of Overseeing. Time Parasite reduces the reload times a lot and lets you gain focus quickly with such big mortar blasts. So a single class Cipher with mortars can be pretty nice. Another fun alternative weapon for SC Cipher can be Watershaper's Focus. Use the Blast modal and fire from stealth into a bunch of enemies - usually lots of damage and full focus. Or I'd give the mortars to Mirke (as mortar SC Monk or Monk/Streetfighter). Mortar monks are very strong in general (Stunning Surge, Flagellanth's Path and Whispers of the Wind + Resonant Touch). And a Streetfighter-Shadowdancer with mortars (+Powder Burns)... phew. Both great. Or I'd give the mortars to a single class Tekehu (no matter if Stormspeaker or Waterhaper) because once he gets Avenging Storm at PL 8 they are simply ridiculously powerful weapons to have. Use Chain Shot (jumps trigger Av. Storm) and Blinding Smoke (cone triggers Avenging Storm as well) as enchantments for Fire in the Hole/Hand Mortar, put on Deltro's Cage and behold the constant thundercracks all over the place. Combine with Aloth's or Fassina's Combusting Wounds...

  13. Hands up those forum oldies who knew Grounded was one of Obsidian's biggest games (pun unintended)? Might have something to do with the game pass thing. It had 15 million players already a year ago... https://www.gamedeveloper.com/business/obsidian-s-i-grounded-i-has-grown-to-15-million-players

  15. Thought I had sprained my ankle/foot earlier this month, and then again a week after. I hadn't noticed the swelling going down, so I stayed home from work last week and went to get a checkup and a doctors certificate today. Turns out I've been walking about with a broken foot for 3 weeks...
