  1. Not enough middle-aged white men. I frequently have dreams that feel like I'm watching a movie or reading a comic, and at the very least I remember them somewhat. There's really not a lot of consistency in terms of subject matter or aesthetics, besides frequently being surreal and somewhat expressionist. Generally the more tired I am the more vivid and weird they seem.

  4. Russia has not capacity to produce 170 tanks or 375 IFVs in 3 months. Russia's own estimate of their production capacity is 200-250 tanks in year, from which most are T-72 variables. Highest known number of produced tanks in Russia after year 1993 has been 175 in 2008, which was more than rest of the world combined in that year (most of them were produced to for other countries mainly India). Even though Russia has facilities to produce quite lot tanks in year, it is questioned if they have enough components to do them as their production lines have relied to Western especially German components. Soviet Union and Russia were able to produce 339 BMP-3s between 1987-1994 and Russia ,as far as is known, has not increased their BMP-3 production capacity. They also are capable to produce BMP-1 and BMP-2 variants but not so much that they could produce 375 IFVs in 3 months. Russia has produced ~900 self-propelled artilleries (889 2S19 Msta variants and 10-30 2S35 Koalitsiya-SV) between 1988 and now, so they probably can't make 200 of them in 3 months especially when 2S19 Msta are build on same facilities as T-72s causing need to decide which they will if they want to make both tanks and self-propelled artilleries APC is so general term that it is probably possible to produce 1000 vehicles that you could call APC in 3 months.

  5. Swiss news paper speculated that reason behind Germany's reluctance is that Rheinmetall is updating their production facilities to produce their new Panther KF51, and their don't currently have capacity of replace tanks donated to Ukraine and they fear that they will lose European market to General Dynamics, which is probably reason why Germany wants US to donate their tanks too, so that General Dynamics needs to replace those first before they can start to poach Rheinmetall's customers.

  6. With a SC Wizard, you can get some good spells during the encounter vs Urnox ! You can steal with Major Grimoire Imprint 3 spells from the Rathun Flamecaller : The first, Magran Leaping Flame, is a PL6 evocation version of Firebug with 2 bounces (+ PL) that cause in AoE (1.5m) burn damage (10-16 vs reflex) per 3s for 20s. Bouncing primary attack is vs deflection and Interrupt on hit ; The second, Magran's Shield, is a PL6 evocation version of Flame Shield that cause to remove Might, Con or Dex (hazard) inspiration to the attacker. That can be casted on allie. The third, Blazing Staff, is a PL5 version of Concelhault's Draining Staff with Crush/Fire damage and cause -4 burn AR on hit (not-stackable). Can be summoned out of fight. For them they dont know how to keep permanently these spells, it is simple : with a grimoire that contain Major Grimoire Imprint (not learned by the wizard on level), steal the spell then switch to another grimoire give the spell for ever.

  7. I wonder where you could steal Restore as soon as you hit level 7, so that healing wouldn't be an issue anymore. Maybe a Xaurip priest or Dawnstar? Maybe one of the low level ships would have it but that is likely suicidal at this point.

  8. I was wondering the same thing, but I don't know. I don't remember seeing this spell cast by anyone else, but as you say some enemies have more spells than what they should have and some that are not listed on the wiki or anywhere. Indeed, as far as I know that's the only grimoire accessible early that has it. Dumb question bu have you tried using Corrosive Siphon? e.g. in Deadlight some of those enemies don't have insanely high fortitude and when you can graze/hit a lot of enemies, Siphon heals you by a lot (provided also you don't underpen but few kith enemies have high corrode AR).

  10. So I found a group with a celebrant in the secret dock, but it is a pretty hard encounter so I was trying to spawn this group you're talking about. I went to the northern ramparts from aeldys' quarters, blew up the lamp oil barrel at the top of the stairs on the left (one pirate guard nearby but I could do it just out of her steal detect range), then I saved and reloaded, nothing happened. So then I tried blowing up the lamp oil barrel to the left of the container with the god killer rum. Save, reload. Nothing happened. Am I targeting the wrong container or is there some special trick to this? That's true, could cast shadowflame from invisibility then shadowing beyond ~1.5s later with dex bonus, maybe less with deleterious. May be useful, though you encounter these guys late game. Any idea if Concelhaut's Draining Missiles is stealable from anyone besides Concelhaut? I've found some "unique" spells on random characters like Eamund the Fox has way more spells than he should including "Ninagauth's Death Ray" but haven't seen the missiles. I think I should go maje => tangaloa ruins temple => deadlight, I'm only L6 then so I can't steal anything but the crazed warlock has concelhaut's draining touch in his grimoire, and it's only in a couple others IIRC (concelhaut's, menzaggo's, and the mercenary wizard grimoire which the wiki says lady eparo encounter has). This spell would make early encounters more bearable.

  12. I habe absolutely no idea why they don't want to send tanks. None of the arguments make sense to me. I guess russia really must have some serious dirt on them for this to go that way.

  13. Episode 17 was probably the weakest of the series so far. Usagi is so heartbroken over Mamoru's whatever-she-will-turn-out-to-be ladyfriend* that she just forgets to go and help Rei with a fight, Makoto has nothing better to do than be off-screen afterwards and Ami is somewhere lost along the way, and all of this to force Minako to transform into Sailor Venus as part of this big reveal that I thought the girls were already aware of after Sailor V officially met them as Venus... I am a little confused here, but maybe the issue was the subtitles of the earlier episodes - we're talking fan translation here (I think, at least)**. PGSM does PGSM's version of the distracted boyfriend meme: Well, to be fair to the series, the series was shot in the years 2003 and 2004, and the stock photo the meme is based on is from 2015. On the bright side, Minako's transformation sequence is bloody bonkers. Pretty sure Rei figured out that Minako is terminally ill in this one. Oh, right, big spoiler. Woops. Sue me. I also found myself feeling bad for Usagi being all heartbroken and forlorn. Good job show, I just wish you did that with a better episode. *I spoilered myself: Yeah, so that is, uhm, dumb. **When Sailor V reveals herself to the other Sailor Guardians as Sailor Venus and their long lost princess, which we all know she is not, Usagi remarks in the next episode that they can all see Minako more often now, to which Luna says that she told them that she wants to continue to work alone. It is entirely possible, and quite likely given the setup, that Usagi was talking about Sailor V, not Minako, and the translator just put the wrong character name in the subtitles, or I got the wrong idea from the way they were written. Yeah, I am unsure of how much time and money they had for the casting of the series. As with everything else, that was probably "not much", why else would they have a really, really terrible plush Luna. I should also take into account that the girls were really young when they made this series (about their actual age in the manga, so 14 or 15). The problem is that bad direction can be directly observed by Usagi being pretty good in some scenes and wretched in others, while Ami is almost always Ami. On the other hand, the fighting scenes were probably choreographed and directed by someone else, and Ami is generally fine in those.

  14. So far I think it's really enjoyable. Perhaps the only complaint I have is making Dr. Tenma's enemies in the hospital comically evil. Right now it's well paced, but at that length it's possible it gets derailed and goes off on some ridiculous side-stories that rip the wind out of the sails. Well given to how I reacted to The Green Knight, you're probably right. For slower paced stuff I need at least one interesting character to follow and a lot of the old fairy tales are not that great in that regard. Still better than the Disney stuff, but that's a low bar equivalent to beating a dog at chess.

  15. Wow. But how do you know all this? Just grimoire imprinting everything or is there some database of enemy spells I don't know about? I just go by experience and the wiki, which is incomplete regarding a lot of spells... That said I don't use the Shadowflame that much because of the long casting time. It's great as an opener though. Still pretty badass, definitely one of the better nuke spells. If its cast time were more like fireball it would be god tier.

  17. When the staff strike with burn attack, the ring of Focused apply +10acc, but not 1pen with Scion of Flame. The debuff is cool for fire attack in general because that stack with everything. About the Magran Leaping Flame, the 20s status effect on enemies is not a DoT but a fire pulse around them, like Spark of the Soul on enemies! I dont know if someone have already try to cast SotS on enemies while confused, but I did and it is crazy ; here it is the regular way the attack work! There is also another spell that can be stealed from other Rathuns (icy ones from SSS) : Freezing Bolt , evocation, freeze, PL7. Here, the salva (AoE) pulse every 0.1s for 0.3s with 20Int. It is less efficient than Magran Leaping Flame and SSS is accessible later than Urnox.

  18. Just another bad JA game... Wait, they have Ian Currie? Am I feeling a glimmer of hope? Ian Currie is a game changer. He created JA2. After Sir-Tech closed down, he ended up going over to Turbine and worked on Lord of the Rings Online for over a decade. Those are the two games I consistently go back to over the years. So maybe this new JA has a chance of being great.

  21. Sometimes I dream of having to go to my finals while not being prepared at all. I wake up, then confusedly think to myself that I better begin to study lest that nightmare becomes reality, before slowly realizing that I already took them a long time ago. The really silly part about these nightmares? I took the exams unprepared, and I was not scared at the time. Why would my brain tell me to be now, over two decades later? Sounds like too much BRUNO. Appropriately, this post was eaten by the void. Less appropriately, it came back into being even without saving it first.

  23. Yeah, I'm still frequently suffering from posts not going through (i.e. the forum just gobbling them up). It seems a bit more frequent than it used to be, as posts I spend a handful of minutes writing seem to usually be affected. Have to always CTRL+A+C before you post, as majestic said...
