Gaza - War does not determine who is right - only who is left
BruceVC replied to Zoraptor's topic in Way Off-Topic
Malc you know what this means? Canada is a signatory to the Rome Statute which means if you see the 3 x Hamas leaders walking down a street then you can make a citizens arrest ...you would be famous The reality is these warrants will be the same as the Putin warrant, the 5 people will just avoid going to any country that is part of the ICC Its a significant ICC decision but I cant see anyone being arrested and ending up at The Hague -

Y'all convinced me to load up Darkest Dungeon as well. I just beat the Sonorous Prophet. I have like 18 poor souls on my roster, but only a couple are good for anything. My arbalest was pretty useful in that boss battle. -

Yeah, one commonly overlooked thing is how good the Occultist is at the front. People tend to have the impression he's a standard RPG wizard and hide him at the back, but he's got the most reliable single-target stun in the game (Hands from the Abyss) and his melee attack has both a high crit chance and bonus damage against Eldritch (the most common enemy type in the game). Accuracy isn't great, but the general rule for every class is one accuracy trinket, except Leper where you take two accuracy trinkets. Don't forget Houndmaster who has the best Mark skill, with a big Prot debuff on the target. And of course he's the only one of the four Mark classes with a stress heal. That said, Mark isn't a universal solution to boss fights because of how the duration ticks down. When bosses have two or even three moves a turn, that means the Mark wears off two or three times faster. -

Yes, Spine of Thicket Green seems just a staff made for Druids For party composition, I didn't explain well: with Aloth and above all Tehenu the party works very good and it is strong, maybe sometimes you can switch some characters for a monk or a barbarian, I think these classes are more fun sometimes compared to casters

An idea for a new turrent launcher
Pigeon_Chest replied to warrenk4554's topic in Grounded: Feedback & Suggestions
How about they make a brand new Pinecone Turret where you combine stems, pinecone bits, and fill the machine with Gunpowder as a fuel source. Then you can fire giant spikes at your enemies, impaling them if you hit a weak spot, and One Shot obliterating any small enemies like ants or Mosquitoes. -

I am trying to play Necromunda Hired Gun, but I have two traits that do not mesh well in this game: I am a completionist and I suck at jumping/platforming. I can't get to one of the five loot chests in the first area -

Actually, the latter I've been thinking about almost since starting out. I may even need it for a boss I'm facing atm (hides in the back row, has high resistance against being moved around and lets it rain deadly rubble upon the "heroes"). It's a more obvious thing to do though: There's multiple classes that can mark an enemy -- and multiple classes that can deal extra damage against marked enemies. This screams for a "nuke the **** outta currently marked enemy" type of compositions. Might go with two arbalests ( + 90% of damage against marked enemy), an Occultist for healing stuff (though he's a more prone to RNG in how much he heals than the Vestal) plus a bounty hunter in the frontline. I like this stuff. But then I've played Icewind Dale once exclusively with casters. -
You are right. Brain fart on my part. So the deterrence only works for melee opponents. Yes, that's also my preferred approach. It's just that the Spine of Thicket Green is a nice "stat stick" for a Druid and the downside of the modal (+50% recovery with quarterstaff attacks) doesn't hurt the spellcasting at all - while +20 is a pretty substancial defensive buff (even if only vs. melee attacks ). I do not agree this time. Thekehu (bc. of his subclass) is one of the best companions - at least for me - because first of all Druids are so versatile and have enormous impact at higher levels and secondly the Watershaper's bonus spells are all foe-only and thus very convenient to use, especially for a beginner. The foe-only Chillfog alone is a reason for me to bring him along... I love to use it in combination with Aloth's Combusting Wounds (which - surprisingly - works even though they are opposing elements). I also like that he has Watery Double (which is basically a Substancial Phantom with different spells) which frequently summons an additional Ondra's Whip or some of the foe-only Watershaper spells. Aloth can replace a martial companion after some few levels. Self buffs can make him sturdy and an Essential Phantom (+ Draining Touch for example) brings an additional martial ally if you need more bodies. However: in the early game somebody like Mirke would make things a little easier because the casters will only have a few spell slots and will burn through them rather quickly. On the other hand the fights on Veteran don't last as long as on PotD...

Jump button stops working
Fenne replied to Aidan Naslund's topic in Grounded: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
We have the same issue, but in cross play. First i can't jump and then my friend. It works only when we stop the game and start it over, it is very annoying. Can someone fix this please?
