If you all remember, I raised that a couple of years back because my attachments are full (too many funnythings threads filled) and I couldn't wipe them clear I don't think anyone figured out a response to it back then and nothing's changed since that has been flagged to me.

Title, whenever i access menus such as the build menu, or chest menu, or data menu it freezes my pc for a good 30 seconds and eventually lets me play again. This only started happening recently and is very annoying. It only happens on grounded and i can fix it for abt 10 minutes if i fully quit the game and come back on.

I have installed Hollow Knight. Then I have attempted to mod it (twice), failed, and uninstalled. The lack of the HP bars on bosses annoys me immensely and I somewhat dislike the visual style. On a positive note, now I remember how to rollback games on Steam, so I can get the less-bad ending in Signalis (one of the updates disabled a command that allowed to select it). Alas, I do not like the game enough to replay it as a third-person shooter with camera mods (the ending's requirements include a high body count). Still, the final boss battle is fairly enjoyable with the SMG if not particularly challenging. Granted, it also was the 4th or the 5th time I was replaying it. I have tried Daemon x Machina (EGS) and got through the character creation in 15 minutes. Not sure about the rest of the game, but paintable giant robots and rebindable controls are appealing.

Dinner_Rollz started following Glass Mantis Boss for Grounded 2 and Geodes
-
GLASS MANTIS This boss is a very colorful Mantis and it has wings, those are the main differences. It will fly around then land on the ground acting as a hybrid, and even freeze you with its attacks. It’s also bigger and when you "k1ll it", the head will pop off and it’ll go into a berserk mode, by the way, mantises can survive a long time without a head because of how they breath(like a c0ckroach). When you k1ll the boss, it’ll drop Glass Chunks for making glass and weapons. They’ll also drop Glass Wings used for a hang glider, or Glass Arrows (1 Glass Chunk, and 3 Glass Wings for 20 Glass arrows). Glass arrows deal 38 smash/stab damage. The Glass Mantis will also drop a Glass Mantis Head for a Glass Mantis Statue, or for a Kaleidoscope trinket that makes you stun ORC enemies, and deal 50 fresh damage with normal attacks, 500 with charged attacks. The boss will spawn underground in a little "cavern" with geodes. The geodes glow and when you break them they’ll drop crystal shards for things like flash bangs. Also glass versions of other bugs live here.

Boss/Unique Weapon The aquarium would have a Mantis Shrimp boss, they can whack you with their "fists" to create a cavitation bubble of hot air that sizzles you then collapses into a shockwave. They can burrow to launch itself at the player, or create a blinding colorful flash that blinds the player causing reduced speed and vulnerability to attacks. Near the Mantis Shrimp is a piece of coral that when broken will let you pick up the Hydraulic Spear. A unique two-handed spear, that can’t block but instead will charge up an attack that spontaneously stabs when you attack, it can’t charge normal attacks though. The spear is very slow, and deals 38 damage(less than the mantis shrimp). It has a 0.1% chance for critical hits and the damage multiplier would be 1700%. And it has a trait called Pressurization, where the more you’re hit the greater your critical hit chance is but once you land one then it resets. Other Creatures Cone Snail: they shoot a harpoon like tooth that inflict venom and create a poisonous cloud in the water, though they can also negate damage sometimes. Pufferfish: puffs up when attacked and will inflict venom on anything that attacks it, though they drop Pufferfish Spines that can be used to make weapons inflict venom by making Venom Extract. Or make the Venomous Arrows cheaper for 85 total. Stonefish: a fish that dwells at the bottom waiting for something to get close then it sucks in and snaps, they’re capable of swallowing you then spitting you out dealing massive damage. They drop stone leather used for making many things like stone skin potions. Resources Majano Anemones: they take over entire areas and when chopped can give random treasures like pearls used for armor or weapons, usually magic related. Seaweed: when attacked will drop seaweed for foods like Sushi or Fish Kabobs. And can be turned into chips that allows for absorbing more water just like the clover set. Coral: when attacked will drop Coral Chunks and can be turned into armor. Pumice: you can get Pumice Shards from these boulders by smashing them, and they can be used to upgrade weapons and armor after upgrading fully with the brittle materials. Sorry for any improper grammar, or confusions!

So overall I do really like the buggy’s, but as far as traveling the park goes I think the zip lines were far more effective and fun. Visually the zip lines were awesome, and functionality it was really smooth. The problem with traveling on the buggy’s is the amount of obstructions. The zip lines offered a linear and smooth path to destinations I’d frequently go to, the buggy’s meanwhile fall in ground crevices get caught on weeds and dandelions and more, there’s just way too many things that can slow them down. I think the buggies would be better served as a utility function. Obviously you’ve got the building support buggy with the ant, and the spider for combat, I think it’d be cool to incorporate more buggies for utility as well. I know a grasshopper is in the works, I hope you’ll make a buggy out of that which we can use to jump up high onto platforms, and with the ladybug buggy coming out I can only imagine what that’ll be used for but I’m guessing some kind of combat support? Either way, I think the buggy’s are awesome but not for exploration purposes, more for utility.

Ive been playing grounded 2 with friends and I have noticed when the raid of bugs attack they only spawn and attack the host. I think it would be a good idea to have the raid choose a player at random to spawn next to. Giving it an element of uncertainty.

I've been playing grounded 2 with friends and I have noticed when the wave off bugs come for you they only go for the host. I think it would be a good idea to make the raids target a player at random not just the host.

I'm rage quitting Silksong. Right now it's just not fun for me. Get hit, 1 damage, stagger, enemy moves into you, 1 damage, enemy leaves your hitbox, 1 damage. 3 damage in 1 second. Then all the bullet sponge mobs on the way of your 6 screen backtracking... nah. Maybe it will get patched at some point, or I need to wait for walkthroughs. At current state, even Elden Ring was easier for me to deal with.

I'm watching Mrs. Davis on Peac*ck. In some ways it reminds me of The Preacher, in that it's both religious in theme and weirdly funny and irreverent. -
Hogwarts Legacy is a very disturbing game. 1) "Why are the goblins evil?" "They are starting a rebellion demanding equal rights." "Oh, how dreadful! Let's kill them!" With the player character making some actually very gaslighting comments on defeating them. 2) The player killing spiders with remarks on the lines of "If only you didn't look so disgusting". Killing wolves by the dozens. Then killing poachers (human beings) and stating "Now beasts are safe." The irony. And the people you kill are the dark wizards? 3) The school giving you a magic guide book that keeps track of your progress, and which the teachers can review to assess your progress. This quest log, journal etc, of course keeps your kill count. So it is a Hogwarts where Professor Weasely sits in front of the fireplace with a glass of wine in the evening and goes "Oh, my star pupil has killed 17 people today. That is 8 more than yesterday. They are really improving fast. I better arrange for them to learn some more spells."

Greg H started following Garden patch needs a buff
-
So the garden patches are fairly useless as they are. I know people have suggested adding the ability to grow things like dandelions which would be good but they're still too slow to use. I'd suggest both a higher yield and the ability to re plant and or harvest in one input as I for one don't bother with them because you need to chop, collect, open menu, add crop, and fertilizer for each one which is slow enough that I'd rather just gather resources normally.
