I think it would make sense to legally restrict emergency National Guard deployments in the U.S. to either: (1) a request by the state governor, or (2) with the consent of Congress.

Did you do the crit bios update for the 9950 in March? Check and see, even if your system says it is up to date. Check the versions. This was released earlier this year Early in 2025, BIOS updates were released to resolve issues with premature CPU failure caused by aggressive PBO settings on some ASRock motherboards, so a BIOS update is recommended for stability and performance on any 9950X system

For me, this was a great trailer that really made me want to see the movie. Sadly, probably won't reach Prime or whoever until next year. -

I’ve noticed one of the reasons that dodging is so spotty and doesn’t always work well is because of all the items in the environment around you. If you look at an item a bar pops up giving you the option to grab it OR TRASH it with the same button that dodge is attached too. So as im fighting bugs and stuff is around me my dodge wont work cuz it keeps trying to randomly trash random items around me instead. I feel this needs to be addressed. My fix for this would be simply to remove the ability to trash items that naturally spawned or grew there. Only dropped items can be trashed. That would fix this issue I believe. Thank you for your attention to this matter

Gaza - War does not determine who is right - only who is left

https://www.bbc.com/news/live/cx2nzlj2j4kt Trumps peace plan is gaining momentum, Im still cautiously optimistic because both sides could potentially collapse it but its the best effort and consensus we have seen since 7 October "Here is what you need to know about Israel and Hamas agreeing to the first phase of Trump's Gaza peace deal: US President Donald Trump has announced that Israel and Hamas have agreed on the first first phase of a ceasefire peace deal for Gaza If formally approved by the Israeli government, it will pave the way for an end to the war, the release of Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners, the withdrawal of Israeli forces and the entry of aid into Gaza The Israeli government will meet on Thursday to approve the deal. If the deal is approved, the ceasefire will go into effect immediately. Hamas has also agreed to the deal. While world leaders, families of Israeli hostages and Palestinians displaced the war have welcomed the agreement, its details have not been fully disclosed. Negotiations for the deal were held in Egypt. Aside from the Egyptian government, Qatar, the US and Turkey also helped broker the talks." -

The latest news is that Hulu is going away in 2026; they're going to merge the superior layout of Hulu into the inferior layout of Disney+. Good plan, Disney, good plan. -

Zoraptor replied to Frak_the_2nd's topic in Computer and Console
No. A lot of the pr0nesque games on GOG are already Steam refugees that were rejected from there long before the current controversy. Which kind of gives the lie to it all being the fault of VISA/ Mastercard/ Australian Christian Taleban pressure groups like some of the Steam/ GabeN apologists would have you believe. -

I backed it as well, because it's something I'd been hoping to see (a Starfinder game), so... I figured I should. It's two years away though, so we're in for a bit of a wait. It looks like they're already up to $400,000, so they may end up with more than they bargained for. Starfinder: Afterlight could become one of my favourite CRPGs—even if the studio's co-founders are 'more scared about huge success than a bit of failure' when it comes to their big Kickstarter debut (PC Gamer) -
I came to try the new AXL update and remembered you could jump from the chair... when I did that again I flew to the height barrier of the game.

Fear factor has literally never worked. All it ever does is galvanise the populace behind its own leaders. Given that the company that produces the flamingo is under investigation for embezzlement it's far more likely that Ukraine isn't producing anywhere near the claimed numbers- assuming, of course, that they aren't actually being made in the UK as some have claimed. Mostly though it also has the same launch problem as the tomahawk, even more so since it's more than twice the length, three times the wingspan and four times the weight (it's also 4x the weight of a Storm Shadow/ SCALP for comparison). You ain't going to be firing a 6t missile off a modified truck- or at least, not more than once- you're going to need a specialised launch vehicle, or (a) fixed position(s). Those are going to be extremely vulnerable, and make it very difficult to achieve any sort of saturation. (who really knows, there's clearly a lot of either obfuscation or rubbish released about it. The one strike that's been attributed to it in Crimea was short range, and the damage caused was absolutely not consistent with a 1t explosion)

Not overly surprising, since Trump and his cult call everyone who isn't Trump, or on the extreme end of the political spectrum, "leftist extremists" it only logically follows that the Reptilians also must be leftist terrorists. The problem is now that I am not perfectly clear on the lineage of the Reptilians. While all dinosaurs are reptiles, the inverse is not correct. It might be that the Reptilians are an off-shoot of a different group of animals within the reptilia. When in doubt, just go with guilt by association, i.e. the dinosaur is a left-wing extremist because other reptiles clearly are too.

I just backed it but at the lowest early bird tier. I might go up if they announce a GOG release in addition to Steam
