  2. Finished Backpack Hero. Took me about 70 hours because I was trying to research everything (still have four items to research) and do the various side missions (haven't done them all because Tote is just too luck based). Overall a cute, fun little rogue like. I don't enjoy the playstyle of 2 of the 5 characters, so I'll overcome the completionist in me and call it done
  3. Haven't seen the new episodes yet (weeks away at the rate I watch TV nowadays) but iirc the previous Gorn episodes were non IP infringing Alien Franchise rip offs down to the first being Alien and the second being Aliens. The first couple of seasons were very underwhelming really. Last season was like a completely different and far better program.
  4. Hunter's claw works if you don't stack it to full +20 bonus, and you can stack 3 different bonuses, one for each of passive, respecing your character There a post of mine somewhere in the forum about that It happened to me few days ago with a debuff I was hitten by Shroud of Darkness (with Blind effect) by a Death Guard Fanatic, I had a drug effect (svef) active with resistance to perception affliction which constantly turned blind to distracted and so on... at the end of the combat I kept with distracted effects stuck on my character Not even Eyes of Blackstone of Effigy's Husk take it away... but luckily a quit and reload did
  5. It feels like they are trying to introduce a horror vibe. Watching the Gorn youth skitter about is a strong Alien trope.
  6. Hey, I'm sure the Russians said the same thing when the Germans deported Lenin and put him on a train to Russia
  7. Dandadan episode 3... as wacky as ever. Momo and Okarun is stranded in a subterranean cave together with a century's worth of buildings. Looks very much like a giant sink hole. Trapped with the giant Mongolian Deathworm trying to force them into suicide and The Evil eye, still possessing Jiji's body. Okarun manages to catapult Momo (with a helping psychic hand from Mom) up to the surface. She lights the house above the cavern up and calls the fire department. Remembering something she learnt as a kid, worms don't like wet terrain. True enough, the worm surfaces and wrecks half the neighbourhood before dying from exposure to sunlight. At the bottom, Okarun tries to save Turbo-Granny from sticky orange good, just to end up stuck himself. Along the way, the dying worm regurgitates the "family" that has spent the last few centuries sacrificing victims to it. They promptly blame Momo for what is about to happen and... the volcano next to the town starts erupting, lava running everywhere... Makes sense, right? You sort of have to see it edit: before anyone points out that i missed something, disclaimer, I probably missed at least half of what happened in the tl;dr; above

  9. Hey Grounded Devs! just wanted to say the game is absolutely awesome, but I had some ideas to make the gardening stuff more fulfilling for those of us who love homesteading. I'm throwing around some (many) ideas, because I love the game. What if we could move beyond the planters and use a tool, like a little Weevil nose trowel, to till the actual soil and make proper gardens anywhere? It would make our bases look more natural. It'd also be great if we could plant berry chunks to grow our little Berry bushes (for smoothies, or quick food like the little white mushrooms) or flowers for a steady supply of nectar and different color petals, for furniture or even accessories, something like Wild strawberries? Also imagine how pretty and useful other plants would look, for example: Wood sorrel, also known as sourgrass (Oxalis spp.), it has three heart shaped leaves, and yellow flowers. Another option is the Viola sororia, also known as Blue violet, it is also edible. Even Microgreens would be an exiting option. On that note, since the game is all about scale, another option add is the Water Meal (Wolffia globosa). It's the world's smallest flower, it floats on water, and has no roots, so it's perfect for ponds or small water puddles! We could farm it in ponds and use it to craft stuff for water exploration, like a smoothie or food for boosts. In Thailand it is consumed in a variety of ways. Plants can also offer new techniques or options, such as Essential oils (that could keep different insects away), Dyes and Pigments (to change armor color, or construction materials colors), Seeds, Teas, Spices, or Flavoring. All of these could be unlocked after missions, or certain quests. Anyway, just some thoughts from a fan, I'm counting the days for the Grounded 2 release! Here are some pictures of the species I mentioned.
  10. Got my D4 Sorc to T1. Lighting build is fun, hydra carrying me though, but all summed up I can't see anything with the flames, falling stars and electricity shooting everywhere. Die a lot to boss effects for that reason
  11. Just watched Sinners. I liked it.
  12. thanks. well hmmm i never played ranger before... i know the technique of stacking drug effects (but i think somehow they r a bit different, afaik, say, stacking svef and then whiteleaf, you need to prepare at least 2 svef in ur quick slot). scordeo's edge is a little special as it can really be "stacked" (instead of grave calling's frosted edge), tho i'm not sure if this works with other weapons.
  13. Hi, yeah, saving + reloading turns some active afteer-combat effects into passives - which then stack with everything. This is also possible with some food bonuses or the accuracy bonus of Hunter's Claw.
  14. Watched Picard finale. Idk, may try it again at some point, but from what I remember the first couple of episodes were very underwhelming.
  15. I completed Darkwood after about 45 hours Its one of the best and most exciting horror, survival games I have ever played and Im going to officially make it a " BruceVC must play game " It gets a solid 73/100 on the " BruceVC game rating system " Darkwood has one of the best crafting systems around finding resources I have ever seen, you need crafting to survive but until the last map you are always short of resources so you have to constantly make tough decisions around what to craft and you always exploring to find items Then the overall narrative is very dark, I got a little confused around some parts but then I used some high-level guides for pointers The " surviving each night " is probably the most part terrifying part of the game because you have to prepare your hideout for the the inevitable attacks from enemies but you dont know what types of creatures will attack so nothing is predictable But excellent indie game I am now playing King Arthur : Knights Tale I have played all the previous Neocore King Arthur games and I loved them. I am enjoying it so far, its fun but not fantastic I dont know how I feel about the healing mechanics, it seems limited. You lose vitality and you cant use a knight in a mission while he is healing Anyway I will comment more on this game when I have progressed further, Im only level 4

  17. I'm glad you're still at it! From what I understand of a thread by Fhav6X the specific textures and the meshes that make up the appearance of an item are also stored in .unity3d files as well. These are then reference in a .asset file (also in the .unity3d file) that links them together. The .asset and it's location within are what are then referenced for an equippable item on "ModelVisualDataPath" field. At least that is my understanding of it.
  18. I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for an incredible game and would like to submit a suggestion, to have enemies respawn all over the zone and to have the zones level with you. That's the only flaw I see, for me, having an empty zone. I would like to be able to go back to a zone and fight enemies plus have them at my level. Thanks for a great game !!
  19. Yeah,I found an old and started to play with it to see what i can do with it. Hmmm, let me look over my work and try again.
  20. Sir did you see the ending?
  21. Do y'all even look at the planned updates? There are like 4 people here demanding ng+ when its already planned to be added in the fall update, the roadmap is available here on this website.
  22. Dunno if this is posted before. I'd like to share a cheese on Scordeo's Edge (with SoF): switching weapon and save-load can convert your current adaptive to a "subeffect" under "Scordeo's Edge", which means you can stack adaptive again and so infinitely. Roughly speaking, 70 times adaptive is enough to crit Belranga with every weapon hit. See 0:00-24:43 in this video. By the way, afaik, this cheese only works for adaptive. For example, you can still infinitely stack grave calling's frosted edge, but the actual effect is only 20% (if unenchanted) frost damage.
  23. Thank you so much. With your input I have decided to make an original character / adventurer first, where the floor for what I will consider is decent quality is much lower as it's not building on top of something created by Obsidian. I will start with the character's unique item and then some prototyping with whatever 2D graphics that can be changed and trying out adding custom player command acknowledge wem's. I love Durance's chatter... "Light, flame, and sound - we'll keep to ourselves." "Magran's fire casts light in dark places." ... And, if custom 3D geometry isn't possible, is it possible to at least have custom 2D textures? Say I want to have a new texture on some clothing? Because I'm thinking, shouldn't there be source paths referenced by items and such? I've seen that the expansions have their own bundles, and in the expansions they must surely be referencing assets from both the base game and its own new stuff...
  24. I still haven't played Mortal Kombat 11 because it takes more than 100gig disk space. And after that the franchise is rebooted again anyway
  25. We are having an issue in an online coop playthrough where when I pick up items they don't go into my inventory. They go into my friends. And sometimes it's vise versa. It doesn't seem to matter who is host or not. Can be frustrating especially when my character needs to eat but we are not close to each other.
