Hahahaha, what a time to be alive.

This is a good video and makes a good point that I have often said

This view that " Trump is going to make the USA great again "  is vague and lacks substance around practical implementation. It  will also  have vastly different definitions to his supporters and what they think Trump can achieve when he becomes president

  As horrified as I am by the despicable people in line to become the next president I must admit his has been the most entertaining election in my lifetime. As soon as you get past the fact that no matter who wins the next persident will be a freedom hating, power mad, authoritarian figure this has been a real hoot.

There's a reason people joke about Canada not being a real country.

More than just one of them...

One of my favorite things about my first trip to Europe is that every so often I meet a snotty Canadian that considers himself superior to "those stupid Americans," and for some reason these same dudes often have some fixation with feeling "accepted" by Europe, as if Europe is the Kool Kidz Klub that decides what countries are idiots and which ones are the pinnacle of modern society.

I ended up at a party with one of these such Canadians, and the thing is Germans in general seem to have a sort of fascinated approach to Americans. I typically get approached with an attitude of "hey I'm sure you're a great person and as a German I have loads of respect for the USA due to how it's helped steer us away from a bad path in the past, but would you mind explaining why some of the modern problems with the USA persist?" Y'know, a very respectful approach where I'm spoken to as if the Germans are certain there's a good, reasonable explanation for all of the ****-ups in the USA and they'd just like to hear an American put it in perspective.

So there I am chatting with a group of Germans and a couple other europeans (off the top of my head, two brits, an italian, a french guy and a spaniard) who all want the scoop, and after I've answered most of the questions, the Canadian chimes in and asks "what do you guys think of Canada?"

The answer?

"We don't."

I kept a pretty good pokerface, if I do say so myself, but inside I was thinking "AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA THAT'S RIGHT YOU LITTLE ****, YOU'RE STILL NOT A REAL COUNTRY, ALL YOUR DREAMS ARE DEAD."

The only people who give a crap about us in Europe are the Dutch and some of the French. Maybe some Brits because we have the same Queen. I know the Dutch have a decent relationship with Canada because we liberated them and hosted their royal family in WW2.

Not trying to be a **** but experience would tell me "don't get your hopes up." I'm two hours from Amsterdam though, they all speak english and apparently speaking German and English means you "speak" dutch too (no srsly it's trippy as ****) so it'd be easy enough for me to find out if you're correct or not. As for the French, hell nah. Any time I've met a french person they're busy bitching about how Canadians and Northern African countries are butchering their language or some crap.

It's also why Kanandian actors can play Amerikan characters and you wouldn't know. Tell me how many people could guess that Michael J. Fox is a Kanadian when watching him Family Ties or Back to the Future. You can't.

complete untrue.  everytime michael j. fox said "sorry" on family ties or spin city, we recognized the twerp as kanadian.

HA! Good Fun!

Will the Renegade Party put Commander Shepard up as its candidate and will s/he then go the debates and summarily execute Hillary then kick Trump out of window then be mildly sarcastic to the debate moderator? Will s/he send his SoS to meet Kim Jong Un then nuke the meeting site for the greater good? Will s/he then get impeached for giving multiple competing endorsements to companies in return for a discount? Will aliens s/he's been warning about invade during the impeachment proceedings?

Bioware don't even think of stealing this for ME5, or I'll sue.

I'm thinking a good solution to this is:

If you come here illegally, and we deport you, and you come back. We execute you. End of story.

Of course, we are not a society that pursues many good solutions anymore, hence we are a dying society.

Remote Irish island seeks American's fleeing Donald Trump presidency

American citizens, who are terrified at the prospect of Donald Trump becoming the next President, have been urged to consider relocating to one of Ireland's remotest islands.

Inishturk, off Co. Mayo, has seen its once thriving population plummet to just 58, with only three pupils attending the local primary school. The dwindling community's leaders are desperately trying to entice families to move over to breathe new life into the isolated outpost and secure its future. And they stressed their tranquil isle, located nine miles off the coast, could make the ideal permanent refuge for those who cannot face life in a United States headed by Donald Trump.

Mary Heanue, Inishturk development officer, said: "Our big concern is employment and trying to encourage families to move over here because the population is declining.

"The island featured on an Irish TV documentary last year which gave us great publicity and a good few extra bookings. But we ended up having a terrible summer and a lot of people canceled.

"I've heard there are quite a few people in America looking to move to Ireland and other countries if Donald Trump becomes president. I'd like them to know that we'd love to see them consider moving over here.

"They'd be given a huge welcome and they'd find this is a fantastic place to live and to bring up children. Their kids would probably get the best education anywhere in the country too, because the teacher to pupil ratio is nearly one-on-one.

"Although winters can be hard and it's the kind of life that wouldn't necessarily suit everyone, they'd find it very peaceful here and they'd soon find out there's nowhere as nice in the world on a summer's day than here."

According to leading media website Mashable, Ireland represents one of the best options for US citizens looking to flee from a country run by President Trump.

And according to another report, applications for Irish passports from British nationals are also on the rise, as fears grow about the UK leaving the European Union after the June EU membership referendum..

A recent report in The Guardian found that the number of British-born people applying for Irish passports based on their ancestry has risen sharply in the past year amid concerns of a Euro exit.

People fleeing the country won't make it great. Neither will Trump being Pres. What we need is a complete restructure of values. That's not enough, but It's where to start. America was a great idea until greed got in the way.

It is not about the moving/fleeing out the country itself. It's about people who threaten to do it if the wrong guy is at office, which shows the content of their character: disloyal, craven and emotionally unable to understand that you cannot have the cake and eat it too. It's basically the traits of a betrayer. These are also rich enough to have these opinions so to speak.
