Dragon Age II

Come on bro, don't jerk us around.

I'm dead serious, Dragon Age II was a very innovative game. It solved a countless array of problems, from boring things happening when a player pushes a button, to homophobic player companions, to unnecessarily complicated dialogue trees. I hope that Dragon Age III and Project Eternity both take this a step further, making conversations even more cinematic, adding potential LIs with a more inclusive range of sexual identities, and making the combat even more immersive.

One recent survey by a Washington-based researcher concluded that Americans were far more willing to participate in cannibalism then they have in the past hundred years. America is a nation that will not suffer abominations lightly.

The KS Collector's Edition does not include the Collector's Book.

Which game hook brought you to Project Eternity and interests you the most?

PE will not have co-op/multiplayer, console, or tablet support (sources): [0] [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7]

Write your own romance mods because there won't be any in PE.

From a single player perspective, I'd have to say FF7, however unpopular that choice is... I burned so much time into that game that it's insane.

Multiplayer, the original EQ, the only MMO I actually quit playing while I still actively enjoyed it.

Planescape Torment.... Finished it like 13 times...

Planescape: Torment for me. I kind of hold PST and BG2 side by side, partly because they do different things for me overall. I would adore to see PST get a make over while keeping all the content there. By that I mean higher res rendering, same engine or done same as PE (but kept same VO stuff and whatnot). Hell just the stuff BGEE is getting would make me extremely happy to get to play it in current assets at 720 16:9. Which is one of the things Trent has mentioned wanting to do after BG2, along with a BG3 game.

...so there's hope, delicious, feint hope.

Project Eternity

The IE Games are burned to my mind. I do not need to play them as

an actual video game anymore, I can play them in my head.

So I'd rather see a new IE-like experience.

And wtf, I just spent a lot of bucks on it on kickstarters. >_>

I keep wondering, which games does the abreviation IE refers to?

It's not a game, it's an engine used by many games. Infinity Engine

Ah, Infinity Engine games, gotcha.

Edit: Thanks for also precising my mind at the same time bobobo.

This is hard... I'd choose BG2 but it feels incomplete without BG1. I'd also miss other great RPGs.

There is a good mod Baldur's Gate Trilogy (that combines BG with BG2) and we can basically pretend then that it's one game ;)

If there was some sort of video game reliquary, and only one game could be saved, Baldur's Gate II would be my choice. And it's not even close. For the cRPG genre, or any other.

Fallout 2.

If there were three more I could save from the rpg apocalypse, they would be Arcanum, Planescape: Torment and Fallout: New Vegas.

Thats a hard choice.

The first that came to mind was Planescape: Torment, but I would miss BG1+2 and Ultima 7 (both parts) and a whole bunch of other games.

Same. I think I would have to pick Planescape: Torment in the end, as it stands on it's own as an RPG better than Ultima 7 imo. Ultima 7 is better having experience in the Age of Enlightenment. If we rid of the Age of Enlightenment(especially Ultima 4), I don't know how much I would have loved Ultima 7.

Don't know really.

But BG2, ToEE, Fallout and Drakensang: RoT are defiantely my favorites....

Wait...would Jagged Alliance 2 count as a RPG?

If speaking strictly computer...I would have to say Arcanum.

If I could keep a console with it...Final Fantasy 6 in a heartbeat. Always end up going back to it eventually.

When mentioning "world" and "save", here's what comes to mind.

Had never seen that one before...but oh so very fitting...(save for the fact that I've always been more PC than console :p)

Planescape Torment. Its just too good. But Arcanum, Deus Ex, Baldurs Gate and Gothic (1&2) are candidates as well :)

DA2, with a note reading:"Don't copy it.". Just so future generations know what to not do.

I can't really choose from the good ones. ;(
