- So I'm going to be interview my ex-boss tomorrow how bloody weird is that, they interview me, give me a job, four years down the line, I'm interviewing them despite the fact they've years of experience on me.

I came up with Crate 3.0 technology.

Crate 4.0 - we shall just have to wait and see.

Got mail today... my 25th anniversary edition of Lucio Fulci's "Zombi 2". Two disc digitally remastered and uncut, with Dolby Digital 5.1 sound. I'm going to buy a bottle of wine and indulge in zombie gore horror fest tomorrow :)

Sister's birthday is tomorrow, I think I'll just give her money and let her buy something herself. Annoying things, birthdays. But this does give me an excuse to not go with the office to the pub tonight though, so not all that annoying :)

Ive seen how they do this on tv. You approach the stairs backwards (so the larger rear wheels are first), bend at the waist so your chest is parallel with your legs, then ease down one stair at a time. This position will keep the majority of your weight to the rear and will keep you from tipping over.*

*Do not try this and Im not responsible if you become a paraplegic.

He will get more time to practice if he messes up though. It's a win-win.

Chopped some firewood into smaller pieces so it will actually fit my parents sauna oven. Lovely weather, wet and rained most of the time. After that I spent 2 depressing hours watching ice-hockey. Can this hockey season be over already? It's bad for my health. Stupid love&hate relationship...

Spider caught a honeybee. Luxury meal. But I was slightly sad since there aren't many bees around here anymore. :(

Realized that my advanced math classes (310 and 335) don't count towards my major (the highest math course in my major is 267). Sent off a mail to my advisor about it.

Is it me or do you wonder how anything actually gets done when all people seem to do - at times - is attend meetings?

Beats sitting at your desk pretending to work....I suppose. I really should stop doing that but eh. Tomorrow I'll win the battle to get out of bed and go to work!

Dilbert is brilliant

As for meetings, isn't that what you hire project managers for, so they can sit in meetings all day long while you actually get some work done :(

Meetings are designed to create problems, not solutions. If you're complaining that meetings make life harder for you, that's what they were always meant to do.

Don't know about Dilbert (never read that much) but that sure makes me think of ST:TNG.

Its being a bit of an odd day so far.

Tis my sister's birthday , so she's taken the day off... Everyone overslept. I haven't been woken up by the puppy, and since she's home to take them out for the morning run she always promised she'd do before work (but basically never did).. we haven't got overexcited dogs trying to be sods. It's actually kind of quiet.

I woke from some weird dreams that were sliding into semi-nightmare territory, highly disturbing territory.

Hm, and I've had a flash of feeling like the old generation. My passport expired about 2 days ago, so I picked up the renewal form and had to go up to get some new passport photos..and skydiving judy dench they're expensive now compared to what they were. It was about

I celebrated - the socialist are back in power in Denmark and hopefully the reign of xenophobic quasi-fascism is at an end.

And on day two you realize that it's pretty much going to be the same old ****. I am happy that DF lost seats though.

True, but at least the government now represents a broader political spectrum from centre to far left, rather than a conservative/nationalistic bloc. Unfortunately it'll take a years to repair the damage DF (Danish People's Party for the unenlightened) has done.

Fortune favors the bald.

Was up at 4 am, damn stomach. Thought about taking a sick day, as it is a Friday., but realized it'd suck more being home than it would be at work, so decided to drag myself in. Woo

I went to bed eary last night after a therapeutic bout of deliberately low morale. I dreamed that the prostitute hiring guy (over in the funny things thread) killed himself by jumping off a building into a car park. First I tried to talk him out of it, then I had to try and stop members of the public driving off with bits of him on their cars. No one cared.

Woke up feeling surprisingly refreshed.

Taking a few moments to fill out the passport renewal form. Reached the end, and caught the bit about "fees".

Apparently if renewing your passport by post, they give you another form to add to the envelope that you can fill out all your credit card details. And has to include the security code.

Now is it me, or is putting all of that in the post just a wee bit.. paranoia inducing?
