Meshugger
A rare thing to happen at a forum. Someone admits that they have acted in error, which takes more strength of ones character than to counter-attack with ad hominems. Welcome and enjoy the wait with the rest of us. Atleast we're better off than the forum-peeps at 3DRealms. Some have registered 1999 and are still waiting "Some men see things as they are and say why?""I dream things that never were and say why not?"- George Bernard Shaw"Hope in reality is the worst of all evils because it prolongs the torments of man."- Friedrich Nietzsche "The amount of energy necessary to refute bull**** is an order of magnitude bigger than to produce it." - Some guy

Darth Caius
i think they should be paid. they are doing KOTOR fans AND LA and Obsidian a great service by doing this, and Gizka deserves COMPENSATION...mainly in the form of chocolates and assorted candies. refuse
dang, it's 19 now. in any case, i'm sure the wait will be worth it, as far as I can tell from the video previews etc... to the people who are about to post negative comments about the progress, please don't bother. I'm sure EVERYONE here has been frustrated over this at one point or another, so what's the point in flaming? If anything, I'm sure team gizka are sick and tired of the negative criticism and unless anyone who has any real skills at modding, I suggest you shut down, sit back and stay put. Or whatever that line is that the HK droid drops on Peragus.

Dark_Raven
Ok obviously none of you have ever had jobs, or even class assignments... there are things called deadlines. And TSLRP is so far past its deadline I can't imagine there will be much interest in it if this drags on into 2008. I'm just saying... Just cause it's free doesn't mean we can't talk about it. If they were left to their own, they'd never get it done. At least this way we can encourage them to work harder. Reading comprehension -50? It's not a paid job or making the grade. It's something done for free on one's FREE time. From someone who understands modding, I'll say this. Modding by itself takes a while to do. Mods that involve fixes, and restoring cut content take even longer. Plus factor in real life commitments, doing this on your free time and not getting paid for it, dealing with other team members who may not be as involved as they should be, fixing one problem that leads to three other problems, it looks like a very long process. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.

Gorth
...we sure can. Shamelessly quoted from Team Gizkas forums: To be fair the initial build plan wasn't that great because it forced us to fix bugs alongside implementing content. Really content should be implemented before the final round of bug-fixing goes through. Though what it did do is force us to reduce the bug count substantially in the existing code-base. We also didn't have a very good comprehensive list of stuff to restore until Wild compiled his. When he put it together we noticed that there were a couple of things that kind of got lost in the fray. That was sort of the point we decided that we needed to put restoring content ahead of fixing bugs in terms of build ordering. Though that might not have happened without the bug purge that happened under v1. So, they apparantly put a lot of effort into reducing the number of current bugs before concentrating on the remaining missing content. I wouldn't worry too much if the issues list remains constant or even increasing a bit over the next couple of weeks.
