Btw, now we have some sort of time estimation dictionary 

- "ASAP" in technical forums = up to 100 days

- "soon (tm)" on discord =~ 40 days

- "almost at the finish line" on discord = ~ 2 weeks

- "very soon" by Josh on reddit = 1 week

Depending on where you live, the public holiday for 2nd World War ending in Europe also changes.

Not sure wether it is aligned with PoE2 release date.

The Deadfire launch tweet went out at 10 AM PDT on 08 May 2018. 

If that announcement can be used as the basis of launch, approximately everything west of China and Thailand should experience the anniversary sometime on May 8th.
