  1. Not sure what you mean by this. I was suggesting that the troops could be removed (at no "cost" to the US) as part of some bigger bargain ... say North Corea disarming (for example).
  2. General information can be found for all Bioware Games on their Fora. Having said that, I would think the vast majority of members here have played NwN, so we can surely help, too. So, in answer to your question, Yes, it sounds like you are doing something wrong. As to what, I can't tell from the information you provided. Where are you (in the game), what chest, and what are you trying to put in it? It might be a specific plot-based item/chest, or a non-useable part of the decor ... PS Moving to Computer & Console.
  3. You are very welcome! Don't feed the trolls, and you will avoid unnecessary harm.
  4. I pretty much agree though I believe the South Korean opinion is divided on the matter. Most younger people of my generation want US troops gone while many people of my father's and grandfather's generation who have experienced the war and the following years of poverty and hardship think that the presence of US troops provide a strong deterrence for any more invasions from the North. Though the opinion seems to be shifting towards removing US troops recently. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sounds like a prominent chip to be bargained with in the poker game of interntional relations between the US, China, Japan and South and North Corea. I doubt there is any real strategic benefit for the US to have troops on the peninsula, considering that: there are plenty of friendly nations to host troops in the area and the US would never launch a ground invasion on China. Also, don't underestimate China's forthcoming dominance in the world through the existing capitalist rules. Not only would it be completely self-defeating for them to use force, it would also be contrary to military strategy (remember that Chinese fellow Sun Tzu?).
  5. ... Throw himself at the ground, and miss?
  6. Read it ... not really sure what your point was, except to make some general noises about "Iraq war = bad". Give Hitler Poland. Isolationism FTW!
  7. Turn-based mayhem!
  8. Um, there are a couple of utilities that do that, like Coolbits (the one that allows one to overclock it) ... clickie e.g. REGEDIT4 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\NvTweak] "CoolBits"=dword:00000003 clickie moving to Skeeter's
  9. Poeple can add their "next week" vote instead of "postponed" here, and it might even be added to the poll, too.
  10. Yeah, the main beef I had with Works is that it was different and gimped and incompatible with Office. Don't confuse it with any of the many other "Works" suites, like AppleWorks, etc.
  11. Power issues? "
  12. Eddo, learn about the real world. All this book does is play on the urges of little boys who make up the best return on investment for such an endeavour.
  13. It would be a difficult decision for a game developer to hire you assuming that you would stick at their job, when you haven't stuck to your previous commitments, specifically (and relevantly) the expected education ...
  14. Might as well start with Visual BASIC as VB.NET (i.e. Visual BASIC.Net) ... BASIC stands for Beginner's All-purpose Symbolic Instruction Code, after all.
  15. Sure, the newer (not yet released!) cards should have no backward-compatibility problems ... I am just a little underwelmed with the current top-of-the-range cards if one has a large widescreen panel. Cards without a Shader Model just don't draw the effect (like ATi cards without Shader Model 3, or nVidia cards without AA support for SM3).
  16. You forgot to wipe your face (there seems to be a lot of dirt on it). No wonder you swear so much. " For some weird reason, no. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Weird. It looks like a scene from Fahrenheit 451, with all the doggies chasing the cameraman ...
  17. I can see the cult of Shatner that will become, once the great man has died and risen ...
  18. Yes. Also, characters of lower-levels are better for role-playing and making players THINK; if the PC can use any one of twenty life-taking spells, or nineteen different types of weapon (equally), then there is less impetus to improve tactics.
  19. Did this have any effect on downloading/ed games (and support, for example)?
  20. Well, the Persians had a global (Mediterranean) empire, and the Greeks, before the Romans, including some of the most significant battles of all time. Also Egyptians and Babylonians might be worth a title, too. My favourite option would for Chinese or (better yet) the Mongols!
