Baldur's Gate Suggestions
Aside from quests not showing in the journal, Tutu works fine for me. And considering that my dialog.tlk isn't of a supported language, that's something. Also, it seems to work without TotSC. If you can, I'd recommend installing the "BG1NPC project", or somesuch, that adds lots of banter between the PC and the NPCs, and between the NPCs themselves. I also believe it changes their portraits to the BG2 version when possible, but that may be a feature of Tutu in itself. Anyway, it lets you choose what you want to install and what you don't. It's in the same site. Also, the readme included with the package is incomplete. It has few steps missing that for me made the difference between the game working and it crashing at startup. The one you should pay attention to is the one on the site.

Vampire Game
"Extended" session, huh? Well, I'll be happy if at least 4 of us show up (not counting Ender), and manage to play for three hours. Also, any word from Kaftan yet?

Shut up man, nobody cares about your boring rants anymore.

Why twitch gamers suck
Oh, right. It's so irresponsible of us to be doing such pointless things when the RPG industry Armageddon is upon us. Ah, what would it be of us oblivious teenagers without old skool crusaders like yourself to tell us what is right and what is wrong. I'll sleep better tonight knowing that you'll be there watching over the development of Great Games. You go, man. Fight the good fight.

Legalize Pot
What, are you trying to be funny or something? Sorry pal, some people just aren't cut out for that. I believe that trolling is what you do best, in a non-subtle, non-funny, inane way. But then again, I've seen better at that, too. Mediocrity would be the word here. And hey, how about you drop it now, before you force the mods to delete your posts. It's a fine thread and it wouldn't be fair to have it locked just because you're spamming it.

So beat it.

Vampire Game
Yep. I, too, would like Ender to finish this Chronicle, at least. But the Storyteller system ruleset is extremely simple to learn and handle, and the only help you may need if you want to get into GMing is on WoD background. And that only if you want to add some flourish. EDIT: Also, I suck at GMing. I just can't seem to come up with a story that doesn't bore my players to tears, or is absolutely predictable.

What are you trying to say? And why would you make plans in advance that involve teenagers?- Legalize Pot
Does prohibition (in this case) work for anything other than diverting law enforcement resources from other, more important tasks? Right. Legalize. It's not worse than booze or cigarettes anyway.- KotoR 3: Ideas and Suggestions
Hooray for stuff!- Vampire Game
Yeah, well. I'd like to know so I can make plans in advance.- T.O.M.B.S, vol 2
Well, they could. But only if they are a member of the dreaded Third Generation. But the TOMBS community at large denies the existence of such beings, arguing that, even if they ever existed, their accounts were deleted long ago, and those who believe in them are openly scorned. Uh... wait a second...- Vampire Game
Yeah, man. That sucked! Anyhow, is there going to be a session this Friday?- Obsidian Pantheon
Um... okay. But without the... *ahem* incestuous gay stuff, you know.- Obsidian Pantheon
A god of stupidity is still a god... "- Starship Troopers Demo!
LOL Proof, Please? In the book, it's STILL the civilians that rule, remember? Civilians that had spent a minimum of two years in the army. Why revolt against it? After all, anyone can participate. Ironically, the rebels would be the fascists in that case, as they would be trying to change the establishment (a meritocratic establishment) by means of force. Thus, violent repression would be warranted. That's how civil wars are started, you know. But I don't think you understood the book very well. The "Tarkin doctrine" doesn't make an appearance at all in the book, as everyone keeps their individual rights and freedoms intact, only political privileges are restricted, in exchange for two years of service. A fair trade if you ask me. This is sci-fi. And not very thrilling at that. I strongly recommend you use paragraphs next time, it will make your post slightly more readble. But let's not spam this thread with this, as it's not about Heinlein's work but the somewhat disappointing FPS soon to be released.- KotoR 3: Ideas and Suggestions
No.- Starship Troopers Demo!
Yeah, but try to understand what you read this time. In the book, the government isn't based around war or has the military as its backbone. It's just a meritocracy. Simple, really. But yeah, it probably wouldn't work. Something to do with the inherent stupidity of humankind, I guess.- This made my day
