  1. Wrong, Fable TLC has been released for XBOX, it's a platinum box so it's not a fullprice game.
  2. Last time I checked Metzen is still on the Blizzard team. He was even on Blizzcon.
  3. Let's see how long it takes for Hades to come in to type: "It's an MMORPG and therefore ignorable" or something like that...
  4. He also likes his fair share of smut.
  5. Just give them time, as soon as the sales dip they'll start digging up those coffins again...
  6. Did the redhead come back from being skewered by Wolverine?
  7. Yup, I'd rather risk that my kid see some breasts than a decapitation..
  8. I take it you are American, right?
  9. I have one word to answer that: Daikatana. Daikatana. Gaming development is a bell curve, I think. The longer a game takes, the better it gets, until at a certain point it starts getting a lot worse. But maybe this will be an exception. I doubt it, though. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh boy, Duke Nukem Forever will be the greatest game ever then or it will make the earth implode due to it's suckiness!
  10. I really wish that they would make an X-Men game that uses the Ultimate universe fully, not the hybrid that Legends seems to have going. I'm one of the old X-Men readers who was pleasently surprised in how fresh Ultimate X-Men felt compared to the "standard" X-Men. I just hope that the writers won't return to the old plot device that they usually go for, I.E nobody stays dead. I means seriously, how many times can the different heroes/villains be killed just to be ressurected/cloned/brought from another timestream? If you are killing of a major character make it a big event and then let the f***er stay dead.
  11. I like the past tense <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's what the Origin people had printed on their t-shirts the day that Origin went bust.
  12. Joe Shuster co-created him with Jerry Seigel. Joe was born and raised in Canada, and during the depression moved to the US to find work. Where he met Jerry Seigel and co-created Superman. The Canadian Iron Man was lame. He lived underwater in a bubble city and was made of iron. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Isn't living underwater a REALLY bad idea if you are made of iron?
  13. In all fairness you just described 95% of Hollywood there...
  14. Nobody would've been believin' back in the day dat our hood was bein' eyed by poindexters smarter than any of us homies, but shot down by a gat just as easy as us; we went around frontin', while they watched us like lab rats, like brothas be watchin' the hos. We be content to sit back and drink a forty, light up some bud, constantly frontin, playin' the game, we were kings of our hood. It be possible the hos do the same thang. None of us be thinkin' 'bout the other planets as rival gangs, or we thought 'bout them as pedestrians, unlikely to call the 5-0 on us. It be hard to get in the head of the homies in the good old days. Most of us brothas figured there be other homies on Mars, panzy b!tches who could be exploited maybe. But so far away, the poindexters be makin' plots against our hood, and wantin' to be startin' an all out gang war. This was a rush job. I once translated The Third Act of Antigone into 'Street' vernacular for an English assignment. That was weird, and even more fun because part of the assignment was we were to act it out. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You know, that almost sound like a WH40K Ork tried to read the script. Just add some boyz, noggin's and WAAAAGH and you have it.
  15. No, but the gameplay revolves around getting that phat l00t by grinding the same boss/mob until that fabled drop occurs. I don't mind these kind of games as I have played both Diablos myself, extensivly. What I don't like is when this kind of gameplay finds it's way into real RPG:s just to attract the Battle.net horde and others like them.
  16. Hopefully they realize they are responsible for much of the game's problems. I wouldn't say 100% of the problems, but quite a bit. At this point, I'm neither for nor against Obsidian making a K3. If they had more than the 12 months LucasArts gave them for K2, and still put out the crappy game they did, then I'd be against it, but since they were so rushed for time, I would like to think the problems with K2 were due more to not knowing exactly how long something would take to program, seeing as this was their first game developed. And while there were sparks of gaming goodness in K2, I'd rather see a game full of gaming goodness (or at least a whole lot less gaming badness) before I wished Obsidian did K3. Maybe NWN2 will be great. I really hope so. For the campaign, they don't have very high to aim to be better than NWN's OC, so it should be an improvement. But until they actually develop a solid game, from beginning to end, it's sort of hard to want to play another game by them (or want the next installment of a great franchise to be done by them). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> My first problem with Kotor II was that it started out great but the story took a REALLY bad turn in the end with lots of inconcistencies and loose threads. My second was that the game was in essence an almost pornographic display in Monty Haul gaming. I like to loot my enemies and get better stuff but the amount you got in KotoR II was almost retarded. But I guess that is the state of most games these days, the B-net kiddies who played Diablo constantly are the ones that the devs and publishers seem to think dominates the market.
  17. Maybe Lucasarts is trying to decide if they want Obsidian to develop the third KotoR? LA couldn't possibly have missed the amount of flak that KotoR II got because of the heavily cut ending so they may want to see where the whole thing went wrong.
  18. Hehe, try to reflect THAT, baby.
  19. I am not very impressed of the PS3:s controllers but they can never compete in the horror that was the N64:s. Those boys were NASTY and gave me and my friends some really bad aches in our hands and wrists. BTW, did Sony lose the right to the old dualshock or something? Considering that the old PS2:s controller was one of the best ever, why would they change them so much?
  20. I have to say that I liked that BIO made a Fallout-esque ending where you got a total recount of what your actions brought on the world and your friends. This is something that many games lack. On the other hand it wouldn't have killed them to give you an ending animation in the same kind of style as in the intro as well.
  21. The psi powers seemed pretty interesting to me. If they are still implemented as a Pc Zone article said they would improve with use. So with fullpowered TK you could pick up massive battletanks and smash them into the opposition, which I admit sounds really nice.
  22. I've been following this game for a while and it looks like it may deliver on most accounts. First time in a long while that I've been exited about an actiongame.
  23. Teenage male fantasies vanquish all evil and darkness. And rational explanations. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Apparently they do.... Too bad that this kind of comics didn't die out with Spawn.
