  1. What I never will understand is why all these "super chicks" feel the need to go into battle wearing high heel stilettos? Apparently they are not only going to kill some forces of darkness but also going on a blood ball as well.
  2. The Brothers Sun, or the Brothers Sung? ---- ALSO: What happened to my J.E. ending(s) thread? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No idea, was about to post the answer to the question you had asked about and wham, its not here. Anyways, if you destroy wheel rather then steal dragon power, the following happens. 1) You go from totally CF to almost fully OP in that one move 2) You get OP ending 3) all bios the same as normal op except one you actually do get a Death Hands bio this time which tells you Although people veiw the binding of Deaths hand to be cruel, DH comes to learn some peace and travels the land trying to redeem himself for all his prior bad acts. All in all not impressed with this ending. Hated that all the evil deeds you did previously a re just wiped away like that. Once again Bioware ignores the CF phisophy and goes with generic good or evil. I could see a CF destroying the wheel and setting the Water Dragon free as that in itself would bring balance back and allow those who a re strong enough to succeed on a even playing feild. But thats not what happens. Anyways, there yas answer Day late I know but I did get around to it! heheh <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I felt the same way regarding JE's "philosophy". I posted some questions about it before release and was told how it wasn't going to be the tired ol' Bioware good vs evil. But as usual they didn't even go halfway. There are some quests that can be considered OP or CF but mostly it involves being a thug, kicking puppies and extorting money from helpless people. Or if you go OP, sprinkle money around you to people and be as goody-two-shoes as possible. Too bad that BIO doesn't seem to be able to shake that kind of view on morality in their games, especially when JE was supposed to give us a differet take on the old morality question. Oh well, better luck with DA (although I don't expect it to be any different in the morality departement).
  3. I'll see if I can dig up the really funny quote I got when my really messed up general was about to dobattle. My girlfriend heard the speech and looked strangely on me for the rest of the evening...
  4. You know, I can't lose the feeling tha Megatron looks a bit too "exited" on the Luger version picture.....
  5. I bought the game yesterday and found myself liking it pretty much despite some annoying things. I have one question though, the transforming styles is something I'm trying to get as many of as possible. How are they aquired? Is there a chance of gaining it every time you defeat a demon or is it already decided by the plot?
  6. Lion-O was soooo Gay... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Just fixed your post, it had some errors.
  7. Ya I know ...then again in 3 movies they could create the dinobots So if no Scorponok then no Fortress Maximus either <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Never really understood what the hell Maximus was supposed to be in transformed mode. Was he a giant battletank or some kind of rolling artillery piece?
  8. And look at his level of reasoning...
  9. Well, is it that strange? Obsidian had to bend over and move NWN2:s forum pages to BIO and since they haven't released some REAL info on their upcoming title what is there to debate?
  10. Well, in my mind that isn't that hard since I never thought too much of KOTOR in the first place. So it's a Star Wars RPG? Well whoopedity doo.. When they decide to release a SW RPG where you have full freedom to choose you character and class (i.e not having to play a Jedi) , then we'll start talking.
  11. Christ, is it getting so bad that you are considered ancient if you played and remember System Shock? Well the loss is on those people then I guess since they missed out one of the greatest games in history. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> btw, is that Crusader: No regret, No remorse you've got on your portrait? Have you checked out http://ra2083.com/ ? Seems like Crusader but with some RPG elements. (actually, there was some RPG elements in Crusader, wasn't there?) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yup, that's the good old Silencer. That is one game franchise EA could have done something great of, considering that they seem to go for the big-explosions kinda game these days.
  12. Christ, is it getting so bad that you are considered ancient if you played and remember System Shock? Well the loss is on those people then I guess since they missed out one of the greatest games in history.
  13. I borrowed "The color of magic" from a friend to read on the train and I didnt get the point. It was apparent that the author tried to be funny, but wasnt. Its was also increadibly untight in the pacing. ...and I hate pulp-fantasy <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Read some of his later works as Pratchett is ,strangely enough, getting better for each book. My own favourites are about Ank-Morporks guards with Sam Vime's in the lead.
  14. Neither am I. I really tried to like Naruto since flawed heroes are my favourite but I simply couldn't get into it. I guess it's because Naruto comes from the same kind of manga as Dragonball Z, filled with spikyheaded jackasses that shout for half a day while they "power" up their oh-so-ultimate-supa-dupa-kansho-bomba-attack! When three episodes is used for depicting a 15 minute fight, that is a clear warning sign for me
  15. AHAHAHA! That made my day at least! :D Although I think the invisible man would have gotten an even worser time if the movie version of Hyde had gotten "amorous" on his ass
  16. Currently going through my Foo-fighters and Th
  17. I believe so. I think it comes from the 19th century pseudo-scientists who were trying to classify the 'races' in order to show that whites were superior. If I'm right, then black people would probably see it as disparaging. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I wonder, though. Whenever you see US police dramas, they say things like "I have a caucasian male heading south on 23rd Street!", but you never hear the counterpart "I have a negro male heading south on 23rd street!" Assuming that real police officers actually say the first statement, do they use the second, or something more PC instead? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Its PC to call a Caucasian a caucasian because no-one cares. We are what we are. You get burrs under your skin about race when somone uses yours in a negitive light... like over the course of 400 years of Discrimination. Cops do call Caucasians Caucasian, and Black people "African Americans" (In North America, Even in Canada). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> As long as they don't call us "pinkies" I'm cool with that..
  18. I'm still playing it as often as I can, even if I got a bit burned out playing my Warlock. Luckily my group and I will start our first Horde characters when the new PvP servers goes online in the EU. Guess I'll go for either an undead rogue, orcish hunter or a troll warrior.
  19. Or Revenant, perhaps? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Long before Revenant as well I should check some day if I still have it somewhere in my gaming library..
  20. Wow, thank you for proving me right. Although if that made me a troll, wouldn't that make you an even bigger one?
  21. *Wonders how long it takes for Volourn or Hades to start raving about how much Morrowind sucks..*
  22. I usually go for a Rogue type or magic user, heavy on all dialouge skills and I usually play him as a wisecracking smartass. Funny thing is that I usually call him Locke and I started doing that LONG before Final Fantasy 6 was released.
  23. If she could learn to breath with her nose she would look better, now she just looks like an exited retard..
  24. I'd rather get this over Devil May Cry 3. I simply can't stand Dante's personality and his girlie boy looks (the man bra didn't really help either..). This one looks a hell of a lot more interesting.
  25. The Quest for Glory series. 'nuff said.
