  1. How about giving the character some unique ability so s/he is actually something special instead of being just like random NPC n
  2. Considering that 99% of the evil actions you could commit in the game was on the level of a 5th grade schoolbully makes me hope that Obsidian won't go all Bioware on the evil path. I.E not making the dark path and those who walks it simple thugs with swishy force effects <_<
  3. I can only agree that BIO:s interpretation of the Sith was of the old school villains, the ones that destroy a world just to show of how incredible eeeevil they were while they make a silly "mwahahaha" laugh. I for one hope that Obsidian makes the "evil" side less silly and the antagonist more interesting. I guess that's my problem with many of the Star Wars games as they take the SW "black and white" view on morality too far. But I guess that hoping for a more "grey" view on morality as in Tie Fighter is too much to ask for. EDIT:All I ask for is the opportunity to play a Jedi Jolee style, he did good stuff without having to preach every time like friggin choir boy to show how lightside he is <_<
  4. How the heck do you manage to get "eye" syphilis?
  5. Hey mods, make this link a sticky...
  6. So the levelcap has been set at 30? Unless KOTOR2 is significantly longer than the first then this might be really ridicoulous. You leveled with such a speed in KOTOR that I reached the levelcap on the fourth planet That is not how it is supposed to be so I can only hope that Obsidian makes the worlds you visit larger or we'll end up with the good'ole 8 levels per step
  7. Have to agree on that. I wish that either Lucasarts or some dedicated modder would remake Mysteries of the Sith with JK Outcast's engine....
  8. Am I the only one who thinks this would be a pretty cool idea. In most cases, in most RPGs, whenever you have a NPC who has some sort of personal quest, you usually wind up doing the quest for them, with them tagging along. For once, I'd love to see you tagging along, where the particular NPC makes most of the decisions(perhaps indirectly affected by your alignment) and maybe even non-controllable. They might even make some pretty stupid mistakes. Do you stick with them, or ditch them when the going gets rough? I think they just got the info of KOTOR2 and Biowares Jade Empire messed up there.. Jade Empires lets you send out your party members on missions but I haven't heard that KOTOR2 will use that system. My take on this is that Swedish PC Gamer is talking out of their ass as they do about 99% of the time <_<
  9. And as I said in the other thread... This forum needs new info to keep certain people occupied
  10. Tie Fighter, X-wing Alliance and the Jedi knight games. These games have been some of my steady favourites during the years (except KOTOR, of course ).
  11. This forum is in desperate need of new info from the dev's.......
  12. "My problem with the swoop bikes is they don't look like swoop bikes. Refer to shadows of the empire (level with swoop bikes) or SWEP2 when Anakin goes to save his mother on a swoop bike. Those swoop bikes look more like motorcycles. The swoop bikes in KOTOR look more like pod racers then anything. Why didn't the devs just call them pod racers if they planed to make them look the way they do? " And you don't think that during, say 4000 frikkin years, what passes for a swoopbike might change!?
  13. Is it so hard to believe that here isn't much to debate about since the Dev's aren't exactly sprinkling this board with information?
  14. Dear God! A worst Star Wars game topic without a choice for Force Commander? Now that was some pile of dung!
  15. Lack of imagination, perhaps?
  16. well i just hope its not as long as morrowind... maaaan, that thing was LONG Morrowinds main story wasn't really that long, it got longer if you wanted to become grand master of some guilds and a great House but that was due to the time needed to train your skills to reach the minimum limit. I guess that's why I liked Morrowind, you could play it in so many ways. I can only hope that Obsidian will add at least some of that element in KOTOR2 (although I'm sceptical about that). EDIT: I also hope that Obsidian gives us more to do on the different planets since some of the different planets feel a bit empty or short. I'm not talking about giving us 10 planets or more but give each planet more interesting locations and quests. Make the planets feel less claustrophobic.
  17. Yeah, I know that the point with this thread was discussion of the new feats. My point was that the gearhead and empathy feats was pretty much useless since KOTOR didn't really give you any bonuses for high skillpoints. An example was the Computer skill that I relied heavily upon on my first run in KOTOR but I soon reliased that all it did was mostly giving me a bit quicker way to dispatch foes or a free map. Since I pretty much annihalated anyone or everything with my Guardian without any trouble, therefore making the computerskill pretty obselete for me. Now if the battles had been harder, then computer might have been worth more since you would have to weed out the opposition to give yourself a fighting chance. Not that I really believe that Obsidian will really increase the difficulty since that would probably scare away the "RPG lite" people that were a majority of KOTORs buyers Rant Off.......
  18. Sorry, but right now that feels a bit hard to believe for me. I've just restarted KOTOR and decided to be serious with Pazaak this time but when the AI draws its 6:th natural 20 in a row........ Well, I don't think I have to draw you a picture
  19. I'd rather see that the Obsidian crew makes the different skills more useful since I chose the three different levels of the gearhead feats and discovered that it was a BIG mistake since of those skills repair was the only one that was useful, and that was only for repairing HK-47... I guess what I'm trying to say is that fix what is broken/neglected by Biowares pissy application of skills before adding a full list of feats.
  20. Has Coruscant really been around for over 4000 years then? Seems to me that it simply is a "lookalike" city to give the Star Wars lovers something familiar to them. I might be wrong since I'm not too well read on the SW mythos...
  21. Could also be that, I'm just vainly trying to explain it so it doesn't look like another recycled amnesia crap
  22. Could be that your character has been in a coma for quite some time causing braindamage/detoriation wich would explain the need to "reconnect" to the force and regain your lost abilities...
  23. Seems like I'm an Anti Hero.... My girlfriend looked over my shoulder when I did the test and said that she wasn't surprised
  24. Ehh, they've pretty much confirmed it for quite some time now....
  25. I just hope that you people make a longer game then since leveling up 6-8 times on a planet seems a bit over the top
