I see what you are saying about the pace of RDR Will, I just completely disagree about it being boring. It suits the Western style perfectly for me. Granted, I need to be in a certain mood to play the game, just like watching westerns. I played through the Alpha Protocol training stuff and I'm almost ready for my first mission. I find the game very charming and I'm happy with it so far. I also think the graphics are solid, I'm not sure what the complaints are about. It isn't bleeding edge, but it looks nice. I think the gameplay is solid too, I like the grenade mechanic. I've noticed a few stuttering camera issues, but it is still a very solid game so far.

I liked BG2, but I wouldn't say I loved it. I actually prefer the story aspects of the recent Mass Effect series. The choice and consequence stuff there is incredible.

Honda Accord, yo. It's the best car on the market at 20k. It's the most reliable, cheapest to maintain, mileage is as good as you can get without going hybrid (which has other issues), it's more spacious than most comparable sedans, and I think it looks fantastic.

That will limit you some. In fact you might want to stick with what you have until it dies, and try and save up a bit more. You can buy a used car at that price, but it won't be much better than what you have. If you can get to about 8-10k, you can pick up a decent used jeep or small truck that will be good in the weather and won't have 100,000 plus miles. I'd really look at the different types of jeeps, Cherokees, Wranglers, even the Liberty. Subarus are a bit pricier, at least used. What is your commute? Hobbies? How much bad weather driving are you anticipating?

Price range? I'd second the Subaru suggestion. I have a Honda CR-V that is also nice with all wheel drive. If you can spend a bit more, I'd suggest a Jeep, as they are also babe magnets.

Considering their successes with actually launching missiles, they might be doing us a favor.

Trying to get into Europa Universalis III. I played the original like 10 years ago, but I haven't played a complex game like this in awhile. There seems to be a bit of a learning curve.

Like GTA4, it strikes me as the type of game that is only really fun MP if you are doing so with friends.

The semi-romance angle bothered me in the movie. I remember watching the whole thing though, so it must have been somewhat decent.

The only reason it was watchable was Timothy Olyphant, so that is more important than the director.

That's cute. Especially when we look at the fact that in season one the creators said they were going for Sci-Fi grounded in real world science. Really? I'm pretty sure that went out the window when they physically moved the island. There is a magical smoke monster as well that seems a little bit of a stretch for sci-fi.
