Agreed, I just don't get it. I looked at that picture for awhile and none of them interest me.

I watched Ted and thought it was good for some laughs, but the funniest thing was the old couple next to us that were clearly misinformed about the nature of the film. I can't believe they didn't just walk out, they were aghast the whole time.

Do you have a source for this? If this is true that would be pure AWESOME <3 Not too formal, but they tweeted it here: http://twitter.com/andromedaguys

The guys from Andromeda, working on a new Space Quest, just let out the word that Lori and Corey Cole are planning a Kickstarter for a new Quest for Glory game!

The NHL cannot afford a lockout. Hockey has really gained a ton of momentum in the last decade, and that would stop it cold.

critics loved it IIRC They loved ME3's "artistic ending" too. However I'd also call ME3's ending another debacle despite the fact that ME3 also sold well. Bioware at least tried to do something about it though, which is different then many companies do. I think you are placing your opinions, or even that of the vocal internet minorities, a bit too high here. Both Spore and ME3 are very successful both critically and in sales, which is all that matters to the game companies. Niether was a runaway hit like The Sims, but the word debacle really doesn't fit. My personal opinion? I actually liked the original ending of ME3 to a degree, but I understood where people were coming from. I thought it made sense, was cohesive, and I enjoyed it overall. What I stated didn't actually reflect my opinion, thanks for the accusation. debacles might not affect the current iteration's sales immediately, but eventually they tank the sales so that even if it sales great initially, it has no long standing in sales (which is why you can't find Spore as easily on shelves these as you can some other games that were released even before spore). Spore itself brought more debacle then ME3 in that it brought several class action lawsuits against EA, as well as forcing EA to back down on it's DRM ideas to the point of even releasing (or supposedly) a DRM free model on Steam. Some would say any press, even bad press, is good press, but I tend to disagree. I apologize if you think I was accusing you of something, that's why I included the bolded part in my post. I can understand what you are saying on some level, that Spore and ME3 damaged the intellectual property in some way. Spore still ened up with a couple expansions, so I"m not really sure if that is true. I guess we will see with ME3.

My wife and I enjoyed it too. It really did a great job of lampooning the old TV show.

Lets Play From The Rear End of History We Shall Ride Forth
Hurlshort replied to Tigranes's topic in Computer and Console
Awesome. Although Jalapenos are a new world crop, so you wouldn't see them for another 450 years or so. -
Will Wright: "Console guys are running scared" Quote is a bit out of context, he said: He is also talking more about mobile devices than the return of the PC.

That's a shame, the tutorial is rather lame in that you can't play the way you want to. After that it turns into whatever you want it to.

It will be interesting to see if we can ever get a mainstream hit out of a video game property. I saw some Halo commercial the other day and it looked like a movie, but then it turned out to be a game trailer. The Final Fantasy movie actually did pretty well, I think it pulled in close to $100 million. The problem was it cost over that to make, so it is considered a bomb.

I see your Aeon Flux and raise you an Ultraviolet. Actually I think its a draw. Charlize Theron is pretty perfect in that picture.

Some of them have their charm, like the Resident Evil series. Eventually I think we will get a renaissance like with comic book adaptations. Those were terrible for a long time too.

I'm super excited to play an Orc, it's easily one of the coolest origin stories out there for how they came into being.

Monthly charges for the third line really only come out to about $30 a month. She watches both my young children during the day, so years ago we decided it would be a nice perk to offer her. She is a family friend, so we get a pretty good deal on the babysitting charges compared to putting kids in day care. I'm actually making her pay me back for the phone though, if I was footing the entire bill she'd be using a flip phone. Plus she sends us cute pictures of the kids throughout the work day.

Whatever your opinion of the graphics, it is the first modern MMO to throw the standard conventions out the window. The Secret World is nice because combat forces you to be active and move around, but when you go into a dungeon, you still need a healer, a tank, and a DPS build character. You need gear that works for your build. I'm not saying that is a bad thing for Secret World, but it simply means it still follows the formula in that regard. Also, as much as I love the non combat-centric quests, the game really pushes you to repeat it all more than once, and there really isn't much of a storyline difference between the three factions.

Yesterday I upgraded all our family phones and switched from Verizon to Sprint. It set me back a pretty penny. My wife and our babysitter got Iphone 4S's and I picked up the Galaxy III S. They are all pretty slick, but I'm going to miss my original Droid.
-
Then this is pretty much the only MMO out there that will suit your tastes. I disagree, this game is pretty heavily reliant on builds, gear, and the trinity of DPS, tank, and healing. Guild Wars 2 sounds like a better fit if you want to avoid that stuff.
-
I still love my original Droid, it is a bit slower than all these new things but it does everything I want. The voice recognition rocks, GPS works great, etc.

That's the way I feel about it too. Seriously, there might be such thing as too many options.

Where can I buy those?

I just watched the extended cut, and I really enjoyed it. They expanded on what I had mostly assumed about the middle ending, where I get to spread my DNA everywhere like Wilt Chamberlain and everyone gets to live. I had said back when I finished it originally: That was my positive view of the situation back then, and it was nice that the extended cut simply fleshed it out.

He is still likely the top line combination with Parise and Koivu. But really, I think the drama with Heatley is overblown. He played less minutes in San Jose, even served on the third line a few times.
