You don't need mechanics on everyone, just on one character.

By using two dedicated wild orlan tanks, I can get through dungeons on POTD with just one or two rests, as the game allows with two camping supplies. If you are finding that you need to rest all the time, your tactics need improving.

Miasma is great on Potd against stuff like forest lurkers.

I'm trying 14 / 18 / 3 / 20 / 3 / 20 now and much prefer it. Though the damage boost doesn't really do much for hatchets.

Originally I was doing 10 str / 18 con / 5 dex / 20 per / 5 int / 20 res, with the background that lets you start with a large shield and +1 resolve as a no brainer. After looking at other people opinions that the fighter tank isn't going to be doing any DPS anyway, I tried 8 / 6 / 6 on the dump stats. But then I remembered that str also affects fortitude saves and healing which matter a lot. So I'm now pondering, if sticking to max con / per / res, what would be best for the dump stats: 8 / 6 / 6 10 / 5 / 5 12 / 4 / 4 14 / 3 / 3 ???

TBH maybe I'm the only person who didn't like any of Obsidians 3D games, purely because I didn't like the feel of the engines or how the game handled. They were never as slick or polished as Bethesda games, and similarly I didn't like Witcher 1 which was based on the Aurora engine. 2D, or at the most fixed top down 3D is all that works for me in these kinds of games, I don't want 3D RPGs anymore.

Incorrect, you start with Aedyr selected by default but you also gain the +1 resolve. This is why by default your resolve is 11, or 12 on a human instead of 10.

You don't get spells for free from other grimoires, you need to pay for them. You can also copy Aeloths spells.

Does this give +2 stats to all allies or only to the priest? If the later I am sad that I took it.
