I don't see the point, better to just stick to implements because you get blast on wizards.

On normal difficult the in game NPCs are fine. I cant remember what Aloths intelligence is, but might isn't important if you focus him on crowd control and debuffs.

NChill Fog is a must have friendly fire AoE DOT, plus Slicken for level 1 spells. For level 2 spells make sure you keep fetid caress (CC), miasma (vastly debuffs enemy defenses), and the aoe Blind, plus your choice lf damage spell. I've mostly only played up to level 4 so far as I keep rerolling to try new builds and to perfect my characters, but I believe my current group is perfect for me at last. Slumber sounds great too. If an enemy breaks off from your tank(s), fetid caress it before it reaches your backline and shoot it down.

I was thinking of this idea for a gunner backline behind two fighter tanks: - Chanter with the gun reload chant - Kind Wayfarer paladin with Zealous accuracy and crit buff (heals the tanks) - Priest with +10 accuracy with arquebus - Either a ranged spec rogue or cipher All wood elves.

Try a gunner backline behind 2 tanks consisting of the following: Kind Wayfarer paladin with Zealous Accuracy (Flames of Devotion works with ranged weapons for healing the tanks + heal on kill, +6 accuracy and +5% crit aura). Chanter with that faster gun reload thing. Priest with +10 accuracy with Arquebus and +5 accuracy buff to his per encounter thing. Ranged specced Rogue or Ciphe. Pew pew pew pew.

Spiderweb software games still exist thankfully. But they are made entirely by one person and thus even more outdated. And the new remake of Avernum 2 is a rip off at £15. I beg obsidian to keep on making games like Pillars of Eternity. Wael gets rods / quarterstaffs. I wanted one with a ranged bonus and picked rods instead of arquebus.

So was it a huge mistake for me to make a Wael priest with a rod instead of the one that gets an arquebus bonus?

No all effects and gear on them are the same, no difference when stripped naked.

I tried enabling 4k res ingame but it does nothing. It would be awesome if we could get a higher resolution pack for download.
