Well I just wanted to tell you guys that from the 1st of November 2007 and until the 28th of April 2008 - I'm gonna be in India - so 20 days from now I'm off. I won't be in areas with internet very often, but I'm gonna be opening a webpage were I'll upload pictures and stories, when I am. If any of you are interested just throw me a PM with your email and I'll send you the link when it's up. One of the reason for opening this thread was also to see if any of you'd been in India - and if there are some places that you think I should see/shouldn't miss?

It's sound like you are at minimum influence with everyone - because that's exactly what happens.

President Ahmadinejad's Speech at Columbia University

yeah - and they'll be about how BOTH Cold Wars were actually just a prelude for a much darker conspiracy that is taken form and everyone in the 20th and 21st century were totally fooled by it.. It's gonna be more awesome than that time I travelled to North Korea with Ted Danson, in order to singlehandedly stop the terrorist threat! *insert random Family Guy clip* - cut to next scene - -

damn Swedes.. - as a footnote I'd like to add that a very interesting documentary has been produced here in Denmark, partly in response to that whole Prophet Muhammed, blessed be his name, cartoon crisis. Incidentally very few of the Imams, who instigated the riots, saw the cartoons - several militant muslims circulated false pictures to several Mosques, supposedly in order to escalate the situation. It would seem that certain political extremes in both the West and East are very interested in keeping the pot brewing. Much like in the Cold War era. This could very well be the kick off for a new Cold War (I don't hope anyone is stupid enough to launch an actual fullscale war of ideology) - it'll be interesting to see how China will place itself in this. -
A good thing or a bad thing? Good thing - and bad thing.. It allows easier acces into the area, in case that should be necessary, and with a muslim neighbour, which is part of the European Union, maybe some of these states will back off a bit. Maybe even we will.

I propose the Horse Armour - it's one of the deepest expansions I've ever seen. It's rich in details, adds replayability - and well - just plain good old fun!

first of all there is no such thing as an objective coverage of a story, never have - never will be. Your sources maybe bias or you haven't seen the entire scope of a certain situation. Yuusha, you're Indonesian and muslim - this doesn't mean that you know more about a conflict closer to Europe than the western world. You may have heard alot about it, because this is a conflict that is of great interest in most Muslim societies, but then again - how can you be sure your sources are not biased? Then there's also the problem of subjective information collection - you want to believe a specific truth and therefore you seek out various articles that support your claims - this isn't hard - but then again, just because you can find 50+ examples of Israliens massacres doesn't make every single Israli evil and doesn't mean the Palestinians haven't commited equal atrocities. (and most definitely not saying the Israli are "inoccent here, far from it! I'm just saying that maybe the Palestinians aren't that inoccent either) The argument of "who was there first" is flawed as well - because occupation of an area is almost always preceeded by driving others out, and more often than not, forcefully- the Palestinians did the same, so the cultural group who owned the region before them should therefore hold the same right to drive the palestinians out of the region, right?. Besides both Egypt and Turkey (even France and England for some years) held the region once as well - do they have the same rights to conquer it and defend their former territories? wouldn't this be the honourable thing to do in your opinion? - I think everyone in this conflict is insane - this however is my opinion and in no way a truth. The point I'm trying to convey here is; don't forget you'll always have a partial/bias view of events - and judge others opinions likewise and equally. It makes for a better discussion. -
I'm gonna say Hellgate. Mostly because HL2 was great, episode 1 was ok - but I would rather try something new and Hellgate has a 50/50 chance of being either good or horribly bad. It's like legal gambling.

Like you say, California could probably survive as well as Texas (oil) but everone else would fold up like a beach chair as soon as Federal funding was pulled. I would like to say that alot of small nations in Europe are doing just fine, without any natural resources other than agriculture. My own country for one. The biggest problem facing the states would probably be infrastructure and national identity - as internal struggles could also be a problem and perhaps further brake up the state.

Natzis also killed gays, gypsies, handicapped, freemasons, jehovas witnesses, POVs and people who were deemed politically dangerous so the number does rise up to 11 billion people. 11 billion people are more than are currently living today. It's estimated that, including civilians, soldiers, POV, political captives, various executions and the Ethnical executions that 45-50 million people died in WW2 .. in all countries - but these are only deaths directly involved with the war. People dying of natural causes across the world are not included in this figure. Which means the various diseases that spread in 1940-1945, which also killed quite a few, are not included. -
That's a really good idea - I always thought it seemed silly that you were a civilization that could create several different dimensions and use them as weapons, but couldn't colonize a planet like Venus. I still think it could be interesting if the races had different preferences in Planet types - like MOO3 tried to do. But that would seriously alter the game and maybe not for the better.

Do you have Dark Avatar as well? They also have a second expansion "Twilight of the Arnor" coming next month that is supposed to be really good. No unfortunately not - but I'm planning on buying them next time I'm going to invest in games. Is Dark Avatar good?

Human pride is a funny thing. 1, they don't want to be wrong - 2, it would rock for any scientist to rewrite the theory of relativity. So I think it's natural they jump to the most "convinient" conlusion.

Many things can be said about that guy, but he is a smooth talker.. too bad (for him) nobody believes a word he says. Maybe he should work on that inconsistensy of his. Saying he likes the Jewish people and calling for their extermination doesn't really go hand in hand. -
This was totally awesome -

It gives you the right to be a jerk, but not screw people over - right - but I say that these guys deserve a little of their own medicine, they are bending the law as it is. And as such I don't see any harm in people doing the same to them. as long as it stays civil like this. As soon as actual laws are being broken and not just bend - it's no longer ok. -

That's how a democracy works Vic. If you don't want to be a part of a democratic society, that's your problem. -

I'm starting to dislike this divide between PC and Console.. Is there any chance it will come out for PC?

Operating system not supported - sounds like it doesn't like Vista - I would check out Deus Ex's homepage to see if there are any patches that support Vista.

I've gotten myself into a Queen phase. I realized however that I hadn't seen the band (video) since I was very young - so I fired up youtube and realized, for the first time in my life, that Freddy Mercury had the biggest overbite I've ever seen and was actually quite feminine in his body language. and after finding his Wiki entrance , read that he was in fact Indian (although born on Zanzibar), his real name was apparently Farrokh Bulsara. It's always wierd when these musical Icons become more real to you.
