  1. Pains me to admit it, but right you are.
  2. I actually quite enjoyed it, but mostly because the acting was very good. To me it was a very typical Shyamalan movie - a good idea, good acting, beautiful artwork and setting, a mediocre execution and some wierd direction decisions. By wierd direction I mean how he handles suspense - he's very good at building it, but when the monsters show up it's always dissapointing.
  3. A prequel would actually be very cool. The Time of Trouble would be an interesting period to visit.
  4. who would make fake compilation if it required that many intruments?
  5. While the idea of having a laser on your head is indeed awesome.. I think we've debated that issue quite enough..
  6. I second that! Especially Freespace 3 - God I want that game.. and; Defenders of the Crown 2 as Maverick4101 said, a REAL Sea Dogs 2 KOTOR 3 Europa Universallis 3 with better graphics - or more like EU2 - just something that doesn't look as shallow. Shogun II Total War Total Annihilation II
  7. Lewis Carroll; The Hunting of the Snark: an Agony in Eight Fits Fit the First "Just the place for a Snark!" the Bellman cried, As he landed his crew with care; Supporting each man on the top of the tide By a finger entwined in his hair. "Just the place for a Snark! I have said it twice: That alone should encourage the crew. Just the place for a Snark! I have said it thrice: What I tell you three times is true." The crew was complete: it included a Boots -- A maker of Bonnets and Hoods -- A Barrister, brought to arrange their disputes -- And a Broker, to value their goods. A Billiard-marker, whose skill was immense, Might perhaps have won more than his share -- But a Banker, engaged at enormous expense, Had the whole of their cash in his care. There was also a Beaver, that paced on the deck, Or would sit making lace in the bow: And had often (the Bellman said) saved them from wreck, Though none of the sailors knew how. There was one who was famed for the number of things He forgot when he entered the ship: His umbrella, his watch, all his jewels and rings, And the clothes he had bought for the trip. He had forty-two boxes, all carefully packed, With his name painted clearly on each: But, since he omitted to mention the fact, They were all left behind on the beach. The loss of his clothes hardly mattered, because He had seven coats on when he came, With three pairs of boots -- but the worst of it was, He had wholly forgotten his name. - The rest can be found here
  8. "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" A great film, but it kinda makes Snatch look a bit worse (which was also a great film) due to the fact that they are so alike.
  9. I think he realized that no matter the outcome he would lose - either we stripped him from power diplomatically or through military might. It was a lose-lose situation - unfortunately he was insane enough to take the path he did and dragged his country down the drain with him. It's utter insanity that so few people hold so much influence.
  10. Depends on what he says - I'm much more inclined to believe anything he says than Bush or any of the upper cabinet of any goverment. Incidently politicians have just scored lower on credibility than used cars salesmen in an European poll.
  11. 50 Cents swore he would end his solocareer when Kayne West sold more than him... and since Kayne West has sold about 20.000 more records than 50 Cent I think we should all rejoice - and hope that Kayne West ends his career as well.
  12. I'm playing on Very Hard and they had 4 full armies - all of the units with 9 experience points (I had 4 units with between 1-3 experience points) and 2 of their armies had Rocket Launchers and Trebuchets.. I didn't really stand a chance.. I'm now building 4 armies of my own to retake the city and finish of the Mongols - sending in mutiple assassins to take out the structures in the city and I also initiated a Jihad on Constantinople, which 1/3 of the remaining Mongols joined. I hope they settle there, I won't mind them standing in front of every crusader army comming my way. Update: The Mongols could not withstand my"sea of Saracen"
  13. 3.291 Mongolians besieged my city - and 940 of my bravest stood ready for them. Even if the Mongolians "won", only 826 of them walked, or crawled, away ..
  14. KOTOR 1 did it. If you played the dark side.
  15. - Spoiler Alert! - NWN 2 - start Obsidian did that to an extent, but then reversed it again, since The Guardian was actually a good semi-diety that was trying to save his empire, but since he was protecting a long dead empire against a now living, his actions were, as we know, percieved as rather evil. - Spoiler Alert! - NWN 2 - end But I think it's an interesting idea, albeit it's just a modification of an exsisting clich
  16. I would say they deserve alot more.
  17. Could you elaborate on this point. I was under the impression that even thinking about nazi's in Germany will get you an express trip to the jailhouse. Are you saying there is now a rising nazi political party there? I don't know what he's thinking of exactly, but as far as I know, Nazism is totally banned in Germany and any official denail of the holocaust or wearing a Swastika, or something closely resembling, is indeed a straight to jail-you-don't-get-200-dollars-for-passing-start card.
  18. I don't know if you've ever played LBA (Little Big Adventure) before Pop, but they idea of finding a bomb (or in your case finding weapons grade Uranium/Plutonium?) reminded me of a scene in the game where you come across some objects from Earth - a safety pin, some matches and those cotton thingies you put in your ear (the big suprise in LBA was that they were bigger than you were) - but I like the idea of someone actually uncovering a real build bomb. Mostly because this would force the players to react to the thing as though they don't know what it is - and the general mystery of how in the nine hells such a thing could enter the Forgotten realms could be quite interesting.
  19. 1. Haribo Matador 2. Saltet lakrids (Danish Style) 3. Kongens Bolsjer 4. Snickers 5. Kit Kat big crunch
  20. I would tailor it around the conquest of the New World - where the Soviet would act much like the Spanish conqueres of that time. Setting themselves up as Gods due to their technology and then kill, plunder and murder any who went against them (and several who did). The bomb, in our reality, would be the various diseases the Spanish brought with them. This way you could be telling an actual story through a different angle.
  21. The Retro Fit mod actually makes the AI more reliable - I've kept my alliance with France for the entire game, even though we have borders right next to each other - and they keep the borders free of troops. Enemies are more persistent (no cease fire while they have troops besieging your cities) and they keep their peace unless they have a good reason to go to war. Maybe it's the 1.03 update, but I recommend installing Retro Fit it if you have Kindgoms.
  22. This brave, but lonesome, Saracen Militia-man decided to take on my 30 Norman Knights - but failed to notice the 30 Hospitaller Knights rapidly approaching from behind.
  23. - As a woman I would infiltrate the female world and find out how they really are when no men is around. They are hiding something...
