  1. Thread pruned. If you don't have anything more constructive to say than "lol" then don't bother to take the time and post.
  2. I can help but think about Orly airport every time I see that..
  3. Found my old Nintendo 8 NES.. It hadn't been working for years, but I decided to try and fix it. Managed to find the error, some of the wires were fried and I got a friend, who's an electrician, to repair them.. Plugged it in the TV and voila! Super Mario 3, Zelda, Defenders of The Crown, Donkey Kong and all the great titles are playable again.
  4. not to mention if your proficiency with english is subpar.. But isn't it because English/Americans aren't used to subtitles?
  5. Ahh I love that game.. Got me through high school.. It was one of the reasons why I trusted Funcom to make a good MMO - alas they didn't bring the same quality to AoC.
  6. Barack Obama and Joe Biden would have my votes.. but mostly because of their Star War'ish names.
  7. I don't have an alt either.. Don't cave in to the peer pressure taks!
  8. Depends on the nature of the zombies.. if they are simply infected (virus, drugs etc) normal "rules" would apply.. with 1-2 weeks they would definitely be dead if deprived of both water and food. If they are indeed undead, as in re-animated flesh - well, only time would tell.
  9. 6footangryrabbit? I believe that was Sand.. (correct me if I'm wrong)
  10. I've seen him some time ago.. doesn't he swing by every now and again? but yeah, he was a cool cat..
  11. I miss Meta, Ludozee, Lucius and kumquatq3 (and his eternal struggle against Chimps)
  12. Nuking it would probably be the worst idea ever. Middle-East has vast oil reserves and basicly then there would only be vast radioactive oil reserves. That would be very bad for world economics. Now nerve-gas on the other hand... It's funny 'cause it's evil.. I'd rather we use some of those aphrodisiac-bombs I heard the US Military were developing.. It's about time we brought love to the Middle-East.
  13. I've always said we should gather the most extreme from either side of the political spectrum and put them on Greenland to fight out their differences.. We (Denmark) would be happy to sponsor such an event. It would be like the special olympics. Oh and that goes for the most adament Pro-Choice and Pro-Life people too and the DRM advocaters + the Anti-Draconian-DRM-Scheme-Pirate/Terrorists.
  14. Don't worry Ros - with Wikipedia, everyone and his dog is a Sc.D! Sadly true.. I'll go research and come back with a proper opinion then..
  15. I think the Clear Sky screens had more soul.. Flashy ≠ win..
  16. I'd just like to add that I'm a diehard socialist myself.. But I can't help but wonder what the longterm ramifications of this would be, I see the very real dangers of doing nothing.. and I see how terrible it would be (for me as well) to simply let the market crash.. I'm just worried that the price we pay may actually be bigger with going through with this particular plan.. I'm far from an economic expert though - and I'm simply voicing my concerns.
  17. Well I have to agree with Taks on this one actually.. (sorry my socalist friends) This is a problem of capitalizing profit and socializing loss. We shouldn't "reward" the banks by bailing them out, because in the end - it's gonna hurt you a lot more than simply letting them die. The money needed to bail them out, would be used to lending consumers money afterwards - which means that the banks are gonna make a profit on this due to the interest rates. Maybe the goverment even have to print money to get access to the 700 billion, which would mean inflation and higher prices - and then more loans. In the long run it's better for a short term crisis.
  18. mostly the south american kind.
  19. Obviously you had a childhood trauma involving chess and rotten tomatoes.
  20. Have any of you played Gender Wars? Because of this thread it suddenly popped into my head.. I had loads of fun with that game back in 96.
  21. It's pasting my avatar on to quotes.. It looks like it's some old data that's clogging your browser.
  22. The first game I ever played was the original Leasure Suit Larry when I was quite young.. I can't remember exactly when, but late 80's or early 90's. After that my dad bought me and my brother a NES and we played a lot of games! turtles, duckhunt, mario brothers 1 and 2, Defenders of the Crown (I loved strategy games after that) .. you name it.. My father must have spent a fortune come to think of it. Then me and my brother saved some money to buy a Amiga 500 .. We played so many different games - don't ask me how my brother could afford them all, but as far as I could tell they were all legal. Then in 94 we got a PC, I think it was 386 80 Mhz or something. And here I started playing all the different games I could get my hands on that came out in those following years. I started prefering strategy games, like Warcraft, Dune etc. But I got really hooked on RPG when I played the original Baldurs Gate. After that I've mainly played RPGs or RTS/TBS games (EU/HoI/TW etc).
  23. Still, I can run from a guy with a knife - I can't very well run from a guy with a gun. Plus when the police show up with guns, it easier for them to take down someone with a knife.
  24. The Freespace series is the best Space sim I've ever played.. but if you've never played it before I don't know how you'll like it.. nostalgy has a way of sugar coating things.
  25. Failing his roll, Rosbjerg goes down bleeding. If only he had actually listened to his girlfriend complain in the past.. then he would've had his +10 natural immunity to sonic damage.
