  1. Finally got it yesterday from Atari's online store. I don't know if I would compare it to IDW2, but I see what people are getting at. It's much more focused on combat, encounters and exploring than the previous titles. There's no movie-like-dialouge as far as I can tell, like in the other games (you know were they zoom in and you can see the characters talk) it's all done like the old interplay games, where you have the text and some of it is voice recorded. I have a ranger in my party and I can usually sneak around any monsters, so I'm not being attacked all the time. Some people were complaining about encounters being too frequent and I agree to some extent, but as long as you have someone with a high survival, listen and spot you won't have a big problem. The story is ok, not as good as Mask of the Betrayer, but the other elements are cool. And I really missed being able to create an entire party, so that's a welcoming return! Good expansion and worth the money, I'm particularly looking forward to the mods.
  2. Happy Bee day.. (God my humour is at an all time low)
  3. I actually liked Black & White alot, the story was lacking, but funny and the AI was pretty innovative for it's time. A little rough pearl.
  4. Well, it seems we have arrived at the final detour.
  5. Sorry kirottu, it seems there was some tampering with the election machines. Sarah Palin is the next moderator.
  6. Well it's the same director that made Donnie Brasco.. Definitely not as bad as Uwe.
  7. I thought it was an interesting argument.. - It's been a few weeks since I played FO3, can't seem to muster the entusiasm.
  8. Semi-ok actors? In Bloodrayne, there's Michael Madsen, Kristanna Loken, Michelle Rodriguez and Ben Kingsley. And in Dungeon Siege there's Jason Statham, Leelee Sobieski, John Rhys Davies, Claire Forlani, Ron Perlman, Ray Liotta, Burt Reynolds, and also Kristanna Loken. There more than just semi-ok actors. I guess it's fairly common for actors, even good ones, to get roles in bad films - but my question still remains, here they knew what they were going into, why did they accept? Those you mention here shouldn't have a problem getting better roles.
  9. I keep wondering why semi-ok actors keep accepting roles in his films, when they know it's gonna be one of the worst ones they've ever been in. But for the life of me I can't figure out if he's just really bad at filmmaking, or he's doing it on purpose for some wierd reason, like cult status. Maybe he is just doing it for tax evasions.
  10. Medieval Total War War II, with the mod Broken Crescent. Good times - and waiting for the Online Atari store to release SoZ in Europe,
  11. I almost feel ashamed that I forgot to keep track of the release date! Well - downloading from Atari in a minute - since it probably won't be released in Europe for a few days .. and will cost twice as much. Edit: Yeah, I should have read my order, it won't be availabe until tomorrow. Heh.
  12. In your case it's a bit more complicated than a normal breakup - so I can't really give you any relevant advice, but I always make it a high priority to never let the last few days/months get in the way of the good times and try to remain as much friends as possible - though obviously you can't be best buddies given your history.
  13. Found this somewhat funny video on youtube about . Thought I'd share.
  14. yeeees - I think we have explored the analogies of "good being a subjective matter" to it's full extent. Thank you Maria Caliban! Personally I'm looking very much forward to Total War Empire, which is coming out in february 09.
  15. priceless.. The Internet is a source of endless tragic humour.
  16. Because that way no one can rip your unique story off. At least it would go against canon - and the fans hate that. Plus the fans love collapsing temples.. so what can you do?
  17. Have any of you seen the system requirements for the PC version? Crysis just got dwarfed! Linky Recommended System Requirements * OS: Windows Vista - Service Pack 1 / XP - Service Pack 3 * Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad 2.4Ghz, AMD Phenom X3 2.1Ghz * Memory: 2 GB (Windows XP) 2.5 GB (Windows Vista) * 18 GB Free Hard Drive Space * Video Card: 512MB NVIDIA 8600 / 512MB ATI 3870
  18. That's really difficult.. I got 1.6 meters before landing on my face. I can't seem to find the right way to make him move.
  19. Yeah, the information gathering missions were quite boring and repetitive. But that was kinda my only problem. I thought the actual assassinations were pretty good, I didn't mind the long dialouge either, which I hard was a immersion killer for most. And I enjoyed the combat too, even though it was somewhat lackluster when 200+ enemies were waiting to get chopped down in the end missions. Have any of you heard anything about a sequel? The ending was even more of a cliffhanger than The Longest Journey - Dreamfall.
  20. The funniest review he ever made was Assassins Creed imho.. My roomie had to check up on what the hell I was doing since I was laughing so hard.
  21. Yeah thanks for nothing Rosbjerg. I'm there when you need me the least. Not the other way around. Why do you want to lock it down anyway?
  22. Band: Kashmir Movie: The Shawshank Redemption. TV Series: Lost and Battlestar Galactica Cartoon: Dexter Book: One of the books that left the biggest impression on me was George Orwell's 1984. PC Video Game: Total War Series and Europa Universalis/HOI
  23. Finished Assassins Creed finally. It's been on my computer for over 6 monhts. Good game.
  24. Pictures, of my rig? It's not that exciting really.. Anywho - a problem has ocurred. The Mobo only has 1 IDE kabel (and connector), with 2 entries, which means that I can't have my 2 HDD and my DVD running at the same time. Now it has a bunch of SATA connectors, but alas there's no room for an adapter (It's a big CPU Fan and the RAM Mkreku suggested are also quite big). So, I'll have to swap between my secondary HDD (with not so important stuff) and my DVD, whenever the need arises. The problem however is, that when both HDD are on the cable the Mobo can't find them. Could this have something to do with the Master/Slave settings?
  25. We have a thread for the MMO and KOTOR3, which was my point - it's accetable, and quite common, that discussions from one thread drift into an already existing one that covers the subject better. But I know how discussions drift off in different directions, it's just my job to make sure that the trains go in the right directions.
